I have my reindeer bells on my front door so they ring every time I open and close it. I never tire from the sound.❤ I’m very eclectic and was second guessing myself, but finally came to the conclusion that I love everything I have decorated with and it’s my own true version of myself and no one else🌸 A little farmhouse, grandma and contemporary with a lot of tchotchke!!!!😮 lol
I loved the many displays of Doris’ faith throughout her home, and I especially was touched by her love for the old rugged cross of Jesus. That back deck was like none I’ve ever seen before, and the napping room was perfectly magical. Such a fun tour! Many thanks to all of you!

❤ The design of this house takes me back to my childhood. Live the dogtrot, doors and walls. Oh and that wooden cross board took my breathe. Loved the wrought iron fence railing, all the stitchery. Love everything. A talented woman! And it's no wonder I can't find any ironstone pitchers 😂. I will be rewatching this numerous times. Thank you so much. Brings me so much pleasure and takes me back.

Oh my word… little shovels, tiny brooms, even wooden crutches! I wouldn’t think of any of those things, and yet, it’s adorable. Every home you show us gives me another idea. I actually started a little note/scrap book of ideas. I had a spinal cord injury 14 yrs ago.. .( no sympathy) due to that, I spend more and more time at home. I used to decorate primitive country, but it morphed into French Provençal/country when I inherited my mother’s furniture. So now it’s a bit more formal. This style fits into this house and yard beautifully! Thanks for tour!😊

It warms my heart when I see beautiful primitive homes like this. There seems to be quite a lot of them in Alabama, not so many where I live in RI.
