This was a fabulous tour of a beautiful home, decorated impeccably! I loved all the rocking horses, hooked rugs, wonderful antiques and more. I could walk in with my suitcase and never look back. It was warm and cozy and I also loved all the colors they chose for their rooms. This is so lovely... my own style is a mixture of French Country and Early American, which seems to work. I honestly can't stand modern houses that are almost always "open plan" and all look the same with white and gray everything and that same crappy gray vinyl plank flooring. That said, my only issue with "primitive" homes is that they tend to look a bit cluttery and just have too much stuff, IMO. I often think of what a pain it would take to clean.
Great old stuff but people always paint the gorkiest colors and take from the true beauty. Also that blue and white carpet on that stairway. That's a no for me....screams too today.
