  • Pratap Bose, VP, Global Design, Tata Motors, has a candid chat with Siddharth Vinayak Patankar about how design is an important concept at Tata Motors and how Tata showcases production ready concepts the Geneva Motor Show. This is the 21st consecutive year of participation of Tata Motors at Geneva.     I don't know where Tata is heading products are very well designed but mechanically they are not strong .. Pratap is very confident man hope he continues to design good production cars rather just designing concepts

    Disappointed by Altroz now 🙄 from which angle its similar to 45x. Specially form back. What the heck they were thinking before making it production ready. 😑

      @@c.bulakh6231 just see the dimensions of 45x and then altroz there hell lot of diffrence between there styling and length too. Even the placing of lights are not similar. Altroz lights are going staright upright but that was no in the case of 45x. First study on both models then say who is blind or who is faulty.

      @@iamjkjay first mind your language secondly i think you should know that concept never fully becomes a reality,tata has maintained 80% bit of concept others dont even maintain 20-30% there are lots of examples of that to prove this,dont overburden tata just because its fullfiilling needs to the best possible extent

      @@iamjkjay and length has to fit in sub 4m category due to our indian tax bracket,any many elements are sometimes not possible to be brought into production

I agreed the fact that it is maintaining the charm of 45x but look at the back of altroz i dint like it so I said. If you liked it then ok. I didnt said to anyone to say me blind or any thing rubbish. And first you should know how to reply someone in case you dont know how to.

      End of this year expected to have auto transmission like velar... No gear knob just dial gear selector... Will give space for wireless ph.. Chrger n mug chiller there.. British magazine showcase spy pix... But it will hike price more thn 1 lacs

      Kia n Hyundai has design studio in germany..
      What tata has to change is the front grill.. They started with humanity smile..
      Indica ad.. More smile per car
      And that design many people dont like it..
      Hexagonal, diamond cut, or pentagon, square, two circles, two ovals grills are now signature for each brand

    I don't understand their product portfolio...The biggest SUV market is in the area of Creta type SUV...They should have launched Creta kind of a car first & then Harrier & Hexa..This concept car has hardly any market in India
