Let me point out that the Chinese investment in Jamaica is not a gift whatever loans that we.from China will add to Jamaica's overall international debt which is our biggest problem

I'm not a big fan of tourism, but for now it's one of the options that lead to growth. We're too dependent on these European country men money through tourism. They don't even want us in their country. We need to invest in Africa more and find other ways to grow our country.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness is an excellent speaker and a brearh of fresh air for a new Jamaica, with new revolutionary ideas on economic growth. In other words we need young intelligent minds to help us grow.

Dealing with the Chinese, they believe in profits for themselves. Very little respect is given to Africans because of their strict discipline within their culture. How close will they be to the Americas. Remember Russia and Cuba. Have all options of development been exhausted. All tourist ships could be stopped from sailing to Jamaica, tourism’s could be affected and all countries have allies and it appears that you do not have a super power for protection. This could be very dangerous for a small country. Rwanda did the same thing before asking to be a part of the commonwealth for protection.

If you read some books you might understand and know the USA and Europe have a terrible history and have caused nothing but debt, expoitation plus other nefarious acts in the country. They did nothing to help build infrastructure in the country for ordinary Jamaicans. So, working with China, which has no history of building their own countries' wealth on the backs of black bodies, is a sensible position for African, carribean, and Diaspora countries.
