    My personal favourite: When you're trying to do something and it goes really badly, you can sigh in an exasparated voice: Ei tästä tulee lasta eikä paskaa = Neither a baby nor a shit is gonna come out.

    So funny! 😅 It’s like you get to Grand Canyon just to tell these things and missing the awesome landscape. My kind of humor 😂

    Wow we russians vegot literally same frase like: у тебя все дома?(are everyone is home?) so its quite understandable
    And the same story about ”järki kädessä” cuz we say usually ”возьми себя в руки(TaKe urself in the hands)” in such situations

    • @Unyielding92

      Hahah, in Polish we ask ''u Ciebie wszyscy zdrowi?''/''w domu wszyscy zdrowi?'' (is everybody in your home/family healthy?)

    3:14 Original meaning for oma lehmä ojassa hasn't got to do with gilt at all but getting advantage beside someone else as well. Like you are arranging something for someone else and somehow you arrange a benifit for yourself as well.
    Maybe like this: now that my cow has ended up in a ditch, I need a helping hand as well.

    So....a few things: I am glad you didn't fall off the canyon. You didn't fall did you? And I was really starting to get vertigo ( which has nothing to do with the arse, but has everything to do with feeling dizzy). And lastly but not leastly, can you explain in English of course, how exactly you do the stop-start video effect? I have a youtube channel with a friend and we are trying different ideas for effects.

    • @finntasticbeast

    Laittaa luu kurkkuun means to bewilder some with our knowledge so much that they go quiet, or anything that makes then look like fish gasping for air.
    Koittaa kepillä jäätä meaning is also (maybe even more) like checking if something is OK with the other.
    Oma lehmä ojassa means that you have your own hidden agenda (ie that if something is done with public money it benefits the public but also yourself greatly).
    5. Sataa kuin Esterin perseestä = It rains like from Ester's ass is the correct translation. Maybe diareah... as the phrase usually contains vettä/water.

    • @user-bj1dq7zh4o
      @user-bj1dq7zh4o 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In July we have a week of women's name's days in a row. It happens to be a week of rainy weathers. On Esteri's day it may rain heavily...

      @@user-bj1dq7zh4o My sister went to school in Spain and her teacher was called Esther and once she asked what do they call heavy raining in each students language... My sister thought a bit... and just said sataa sammakoita.

    “Oma lehmä ojassa” could also be used in situations where you want someone to do something and you act like you think it is best for them but really you have something in there that would benefit yourself😁. And one can ask is everyone at home “onko kaikki kotona” or quite similar is anyone at home “onko ketään kotona” but there the meaning is a bit different, usually used if the person you are speaking to is obviously not listening or focused on something else, like if the mind is seemingly somewhere else. Or simply when someone is acting stupidly in whatever situation.

    My partner went to Finland her name is Shena Bahingawan. Once she went there she never planned to go back. We fought a lot but my love is real. I lost my love going for her dreams. Together for 7 years just 2 months in finland bl9cked me from her Facebook. Now i can't even sleep every single day. No sleep before going to work. It's 5 in the afternoon here in the Philippines my work starts at 9:30pm. I'm broken. When promises are false. Im broken!
