I’ve been struggling with ugly stage/WTH stage and I just drop it or trash it and move on start another project and get stuck again. I’m continuously stuck in ugly stage not knowing what to do next. I know the feeling all to well. But it came out fine, you made the best of it!
I’ve completed one mixed media project that came out perfectly. The little fox “you make my ❤️ happy” about a year ago.
However since then I’ve had blocks, my faces end up being super ugly! Sheesh!🙄
Going thru a lot in life; chronic pain/fatigue, depression, loneliness. Your work is such an inspiration to me right now!
Sometimes I spend a whole day watching your videos. And I keep coming back because it makes me feel better. I’ve watched a lot of other artists, however you make me laugh. Your personality is so bubbly, warm, super fun and I just love watching your videos.

Thank you so much for persevering to finish and ultimately publish this video. For me to see you struggle and move beyond is the struggle, especially at your level, is, in many ways, far more useful than seeing you create a perfect page. As a beginner, I'm constantly insecure, struggling and feeling blocked with each layer, feeling I'm not creative. At this point, it's a lot just for me to be inspired by, rather than directly copying, a video I'm watching. Thanks again for this project, especially the emus. Amazing! Thank you for sharing this process and not scrapping it. It's so important to be authentic so we can all realize that we are not alone. I find myself moving on from channels that are not real about the human struggle that occurs within art.

I saw the finish project first and thought wow I can’t do that. That is sooo good. Then I watched you “hamburger” being built I I thought I can learn to do this too.
I have a picture that I did after my Mom passed away and it got left in ugly stage. I will go back now and Incorporate the hamburger.

It took me way too long to find you. Somethings I've figured out for myself (hamburger system) noticed similarities between artists (frames, backgrounds, splatters, threes, etc.) but learning lots and feeling more confident. Thank you. Loving the videos. These birds are FABULOUS!

Karen, I love this video SO much! This one looks like an alien (or a frog!), this one a cactus, and that one looks PISSED! I was cracking up the entire hour. It reminded me so much of something you said in another video about how we don't like something we've done BECAUSE IT'S NOT FINISHED!
