    8:38 It was a continued rebuttal. Ford claimed he wouldn’t wipe his tailpipe with “Das Krapital,” so he’s flipping it to “You didn’t read shit.” Rebuttal, early Ford dis (he wasn’t big on reading in his early days, preferring to learn by doing, hence the watch story), and flipping Henry’s “book shit” on its head. Solid line, especially set up by the first part of the rebuttal, proving that if Ford had actually read up on Marx, his concepts plus greed is what caused mass graves, not his concepts alone, which didn’t account for the greed (which is also telling Ford that if he’d studied, he would’ve built a better bar around not accounting for greed).

    In the end, it felt more like an easy win for Karl Marx. The battle wasn't even that close. Even the Flint's water line carried it. It was somewhat debatable till the second round. The bars about his son, car crashes and Auschwitz just took it to the next level. Marx had good counterbacks, too.

    • @WafleEnterprises
      @WafleEnterprises ปีที่แล้ว

      So, yes and no for me. I give Marx the dub but for a different line of reasoning. Marx failed to effectively rebut any criticism of his ideology in practice, which makes sense for his character. “Trade them in for mass graves” “My concepts didn’t cause mass graves, greed did.” Ok true, but also a very pathetic excuse since it happened literally every time. When the system you created/endorse doesn’t factor in greedy pieces of shit, your system sucks. Free market capitalism also sucks, for the same reason. But the free market is objectively better when you look at history and how the real world plays out. Marx is still a hypocrite, he utilizes money that, in his eyes, was extracted from essentially slave labor. It was straight up stolen through his worldview, but he’s ok with taking that money anyway? Stuff like that.
      However, Marx dug deep on the character of Ford, because objectively Ford was a shittier, more vile human being. So Capitalism wins out against Socialism/Marxism/Communism in this ERB, but Marx wiped the floor with Henry Ford as a person.

      I also felt like the Flint bar actually flopped, while it was a good attempt, Ford was actually fantastic for Michigan/Detroit, it was ironically enough the left leaning Democrats outsourcing the vehicle industry out of country that devastated their income. I wouldn’t call it socialist policies, but it is closer to Marx than the Capitalist policies that Ford would’ve supported.

      @@WafleEnterprises Bro holy fuck. Imagine typing out allat only to classify Marxism, Socialism, and Communism as the SAME THING. If you didn't know, their all different. And even socialism is more related to Democracy then it is Communism. It is referenced in the Marxist theory as the realization of Communism, but that is NOT the actual idea of Socialism. If you look up the definitions of Communism, Socialism and Marxism, their different.
      And Marxism was the "preparation" for Communism, it makes sense. Marxism was developed by Marx and Engels followers to form the basis for the theory and practice of communism, to explain it better.
      Communism - A political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned, and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.
      Socialism - A political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.
      Marxism - The political and economic theories of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, later developed by their followers to form the basis for the theory and practice of communism.
      I hope this cleared things up, and make sure to study more and stay educated on things. I get it is easy to get these mixed up, I know. I was once like that too. Just.. keep studying.

    9:20 - "Can't take shit from you according to ability" - Famous lines from Marx were "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" - saying that Ford has no ability so couldn't get anything from him to share with others

    The thing about about Karl's last line: "Found on Road Dead." Means F O R D and Is a diss to how every truck driver in america knows ford trucks are notorious for breaking down. So Henry's legacy has lead to being one of the worst kinda cars in an industry he basically made grow into what it has become. His legacy is allowing all the other car manufacturers to out-do his company even though he had such a HUGE headstart and advantage.

    The "mass graves" line is so good, but jesus fucking christ does it get decimated later on by Marx's "shot them dead in the street" line. OOF.😂

      @YTsupportsZionaziGenocide ปีที่แล้ว

      The mass grave line doesn't hit as hard when you know how much deaths under communism arose... it because toilet tissue soft when you realize that colonialism alone as killed more people than most estimates from communism, much less capitalism, the wars capitalism has cause and the roughly 13 million that die each year from the heat and cold and another 9 million from hunger under the global Capitalist system, so the death toll isn't even close, it's just something Capitalist boosters like to say because it sounds good for their prefered system but theirs is even worse in the deathtoll.

    14:00 Mark has never told that's capitalism is evil or something.Capitalism is just a stage of human development. Just as before capitalism there was a feudal system, so after capitalism there will be communism. Using resources to move from one system to another was absolutely natural throughout the entire development of mankind. So Ford's argument here is extremely incorrect.

  • @SomasAcademy

    Karl Marx didn't actually advocate for state ownership of property, he advocated for collective ownership by the workers; the Marxist idea of a "classless society" is collapsing the two classes - the bourgeoisie, who make money by owning places where other people work, and the proletariat, who make money by working for the bourgeoisie - by having everyone share ownership and work for themselves. Later figures like Lenin came up with the idea that state ownership counted as "worker ownership" if the state was acting on behalf of the workers, but that idea doesn't really show up anywhere in Marx's own writings. That's why a line like "my concepts didn't cause mass graves, greed did" works, because figures like Stalin and Mao were basically just doing Henry Ford-style Authoritarian Capitalism, just with the state as the owner instead of an individual.

    Things you missed
    Henry first verse :
    Word play on watch (because he disassembled watches which started his interested in building stuff which led to ford motor corp)
    Mao and stallin both are dictator who wrongly followed mark ideology which led to mass murder ( Mao for china and stallin for russia)
    Prussion (word play as person) because karl was prussion
    Karl had a wife named jenny and 3-4 daughter named jenny and because of poor health condition and being poor in general they died young while karl was alive
    Karl first verse :
    The reason was karl to give a introduction was to give context as not a lot people know him and what he did
    Hitler did mention henry and i guess thomas in mein kampf , both who were anti-Semitism which bode well with nazi germany agenda
    didnt read shit line was a rebuttle for the wipe my tail pipe with your das krapital because karl marx das capital was more like ideal socialism but didnt account for all the sins of human
    dung from a taurus is a clever way of saying your bull shit to self made man henry ford when his father was weathly as well and he would have inherited a good fortune
    henry ford was oldest of 6 siblings while his seventh caused his mother to die during birth .
    Model T was one of ugliest looking car and henry continued to keep producing it even when other car manufacturer made more appealing style henry was adamant
    his first cars didnt had a reverse gear
    Ford has a town in brazil called Fordlândia for setting up production but failed to get any traction . Also brazil is known for it nuts so double meaning for the word
    Henry second verse :
    Marx had a skin condition which caused him to have boils on his skin (dick boils)
    Animal farm reference is that a lot of people believed communism was more like a animal farm where food is distributed evenly and controlled etc
    Karl second verse:
    4 severed fingers a week is line depicting terrible safety conditions in ford factories that people have had terrible accidents and some have died
    Alienated men because they just kept working without any freedom and eventually lose themselves ( detroit reference is because its the motor city and also eminem was from detroit)
    flint michingan had terrible lead poisioning in water which caused terrible effect on people and he is saying henry did more harm than that in michigan
    Henry third verse:
    Marx was always jumping from one country to another because noone was buying is ideology at first so henry disses him being stateless and still speaking (like public speaking)
    Marx third verse:
    He as so poor he had to actually pawn his own pants and stuff from home for the revolution
    Edsel ford was son of henry ford who was appointed as the ceo of ford motor corps but hid dad pulled all the strings and didnt let him do anything he wanted to which put him in loads of stress and he developed a stomach ulcer and later cancer and still henry did nothing but ruin his reputation in public eye ( thats why marx disses that his stomach cancer loved him more than henry ever did)
    Your legacy is in ashes because he and his son died very closely in time leaving no heir.
    Henry had multiple factories in nazi germany which actually was used to fuel the opperssion done by hitler.
    Henry died of brain hemorrhage
    found on road dead ( an infamous full form of F.O.R.D because their car would die in middle of the road for no apparent reason)

    • @omargoodman2999
      @omargoodman2999 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Notes: the line about Animal Farm is a direct reference to the book of the same name by George Orwell (same author as "1984"). It depicts a farm where the animals rise up and have a revolution to overthrow the humans who oppress them and take over running the farm for themselves. But after this, the pigs end up becoming domineering and oppressing the other animals and the animals end up behaving much like humans, wearing clothes, gambling, etc. By the end of the book, there's a standoff as the humans confront the animals, but "the creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which." It was an indictment of the poor attempts at putting Communism into practice which devolved into mere power grabs by "elite of a different breed". Orwell was a Socialist himself and wanted to see it succeed, but not like that.
      Another one that was missed was the line about Eskel being the "crank" that got the revolution spinning. The earliest cars had to be started by hand-cranking a handle on the front to turn over the motor until it could keep itself running. That's why the bar kept spinning by the cylinders to transmit power down through the transmission is called the "crankshaft". So Marks was saying that, for the Revolution, he Enkel was like the crankshaft of a car; a necessary component. And early cars may have needed to be turned over manually, hence the need for an actual person with money, a capitalist, to help them, but modern cars no longer need such a contrivance. We have automatic starters now, while Ford was more the type to anchor himself to a legacy design.

    Karl Marx had seven daughters, four were named Jenny after his wife and most died due to his poor money management skills as well as it being the Industrial Revolution when medical technology was still very primitive in Europe and workplace accidents happened all the time. The other three were named Laura, Eleanor and an unnamed baby daughter who died the day she was born.

    • @SomasAcademy
      @SomasAcademy ปีที่แล้ว

      Ford was extremely Anti-Semitic, but Marx's Anti-Semitism was more complex - basically, he referenced some Anti-Semitic tropes about "huckstering" and referred to a guy he didn't like as a "Jewish [n-word]," but he was also ethnically Jewish himself and advocated for Jewish Emancipation. It seems like he accepted some Anti-Semitic claims as true, like that Jews were greedy, but thought this was a condition of Jews being oppressed, which he thought was bad. So, not a perfect position, but very far from the extreme Anti-Semitism of Henry Ford, who published pamphlets and articles claiming that there was a Global Jewish Conspiracy controlling global finance and the media, which was responsible for everything bad in the world (including Communism and Jazz music, two things Ford really hated lmao).
