I literally just finished my S4 FC today. Full street port NA. I use it more as a nostalgic street car for fun. I admired those cars as a kid and now that i have one i will never let it go. Looks like the crankshaft was floating at the end. I don't know if that is a problem or not, but they'll find out.
Hey mate
Not a problem at this stage of the assembly. Once the front stack is assembled, the washers will sandwich the crank into place
I’ve built a piston engine by myself before, what’s a rotary like in comparison?

Is it normal to have that much play in the crank???
It is normal that shaft is moving in and out ?
Hi mate sorry for the slow response
Yes completely normal at this stage of the assembly.
The end float is set when the front stack is installed
i was thinking the same. so technically not fully assembled.
In the not so distant future as I would like, I have to rebuild my RX8 S2 , hopefully it will be as easy as the video ajajajaj
