The thing everyone seems to forget is God made everything at age which would make it seem like it was 16 billion yrs old but God created mature life and an old looking Earth and Stars. He made it old or we couldn't live here and animals couldn't mate. Adam and Eve were adults when made.

From the time Adam and Eve had Seth to today its been around 8thousand years which can be proven through the genealogy written in the Bible this is how we get an approximate age of the Earth next today's people aren't very Biblical and are taught evolution in mass which makes people believe in an old Earthnot to mention there's plenty of talk about aliens being real which further backs up evolution. People are taught the flood of Noah didn't happen and that there's no evidence when's there's evidence literally everywhere. See yt Chan Bryan Nickel and watch his 6 video on tesubject for scientific proof of massive flood Anda new creation or young creation earth. Remember Satan is fighting a war against God and his biggest weapon is man hubris, the media and Atheists. God bless.

Wow, this is so very mind blowing. I just can't get enough of what I am learing. I have always love science of nature, the universe and life of all things around me. What you are telling me is what a pastor from a long time ago said the same exact thing. When he preached on it, I did not get it. Now I truly get it. Thank you, FATHER, thank you JESUS, and thank you HOLY SPIRIT.
wow.... mind blown!!!! I learned about the gap theory when I was younger but I don't think I truly ever went into deep research or paid much attention to it. Maan the these series are a blessing.
SUMMARY OF THE BOOK OF GENESIS
(My little contribution)

1) The Earth was not created 6000 years ago
.
2) In Genesis 1, the earth was probably created thousands or millions of years ago.
.
And this is when God created a perfect Heaven (sky) and Earth,
and
This earth wasnt void and deformed but it was perfect.
.
God always create perfect-complete things.
And
not deformed, void, formless.
.
This perfect created heaven and earth had water on it, plants, and many living things like DINOSAURS.
.

3) In Genesis 1 v 2,
It says the earth was formless, void, and ''Water'' was already on earth such that the Holy Spirit was hovering over the waters.

Here it shows that
there is a jump of events which took place which left the earth void, formless, and polluted water, on which the Holy Spirit was hovering over,
and these events are not recorded because the bible is not some history-science book.
.
God sets the scriptures in a such a way that it shows the most important things we need to know.
To avoid distractions.
So,
God destroyed the first heaven(sky) and the earth killing/wiping out all dinosaurs, and all living things.
These events took place between Genesis 1 v1 and Genesis 1 v 2

3) Then now comes the Creation again.
second creation after the first creation which God destroyed
or
we can say,
The first creation after the first creation which God destroyed living the world void, formless and polluted water, on which the Holy Spirit was hovering on.

THIS EXPLAINS WHY GOD
said
Replenish the earth or refill the earth.
because
it was once filled but God destroyed everything in preparation of the creation of humans.

4) Then comes in order the 6 days creation
which
i personally believe there were not 24 hr days but rather 1000 years according to 2 Peter 3 v 8 and Psalm 90 v 4.
For 1 day to God...to us its 1000 years.

So
those 6 days of creation of Genesis chapter 1,
were 6000 years...in earthly time and not 6 literal days.

5) Genesis 1 v 26
God created humans
All races,
Blacks, whites, indians, Asians etc
all these people were created at the same time,
male and female
and
were commanded to multiply and fill the earth.
have babies and fill the earth.
Eat the fruits.

LABOUR PAINS: At this time, the labour pains for women were very minimal.
Women could easily give birth to children
.
Sin has not entered the world yet.
.

6) God rested on the 7th day
(1000 years)
without creating anything.

7) After the 7th day
(1000 years)
God decided to create one man, ADAM,
The first Hebrew Prophet
for one reason
To till the ground and take care of His fruits and flowers in the Garden that He would create...which later He created in Eden and placed Adam in it.
No Eve is created here yet.

8) Adam is lonely,
God creates animals for him to name them and play with them.
But Adam was still lonely
.
.
9) So God creates a woman, Eve, for him, as a help meet.
As an assistant in taking care of the garden.
And were not commanded to have sex and have babies.
Such commandment was never given to Adam and Eve in the garden.

Until they had sinned and got kicked out the garden of Eden thats when they had their first Sex and Eve conceived and gave birth to Cain and Abel.
With increased labour pains.

10) Adam and Eve sin
God curses the snake, removes the legs and commands it to move on its belly,
God increases labour pains for all women because of the Sin of Eve,
God removes free things like food from Adam....No sweet without sweat now.
,
All the races of people outside the garden sins along with Adam.
why?
Because Adam was representing all races on earth.

All the races of people were being represented by Adam.

11) Adam and Eve get kicked out, and have babies.
Cain and Abel.

12) Cain kills Abel and goes to Nod and marries a gentile idolatrous woman from among the races of people like whites, blacks who were outside the garden populating
and gives birth to Enock and builds a city.
Because there were many idolatrous gentiles there.

12) In Genesis 6,
Sin is increased on earth because Jews, sons and grandsons of Adam, just like cain, continued marrying idolatrous races of people and turned away from God except Noah and his family.

13) Some gave birth to giants like who were humans just like Og the King, Goliath and his brothers.

14) The giants of genesis 6 were humans
a product of humans and humans.
Jews and gentile people some of whom were already giants.

Angels do not procreate as Jesus says in the new testament.
Therefore
it was not fallen angels who were marrying women but Jews...true believers in yahweh marrying idolatrous gentile women....just like King Solomon as we see later.

15) God sends a local/regional flood which destroyed all the wicked except Noah and his family.

16) Yes the flood was not global but local...regional in that area.

It did not kill all the animals and birds on earth
It did not kill all races of the People on earth

I've studied the gap theory and preadamic race from Dake and Derek Prince, messianic pastors who go into great detail in the Hebrew, and others. I then found this teaching. I'm hoping to find more from you on the subject.
I believe when it reaches to 7000 years to God then it will end. And Jesus will come get us. Thank you my lord. God bless you pastor and your family.
1 Chronicles 16:30: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable.” Psalm 104:5: “Thou didst fix the earth on its foundation so that it never can be shaken.”
Job 26:7 and he hangeth the earth upon nothing.
So is it on a foundation
Or does it hang upon nothing
Is this a biblical contradiction or a misinterpretation
Is it a circle as seen from above or a circle as seen from a view on earth
This is where all the nastiness comes from that Pastor Allen was referring to.
How many of us would read the Bible if it was written by Einstein.
I guess we just need to have faith that he created the earth in 6 days - whether that’s from our perspective or Gods.

I learn something in every video I watch. Many times I learn many things. I am so grateful for Pastor Nolan. What a fantastic teacher!
The pastor did a very good job of explaining creation. This verses was not mentioned so I though that I would throw this one in . Job 38:7 When the morning star sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy. The verses before this God is telling Job how He created the earth. The sons of God are angels. My point is this in the beginning God created the heaven first then God created the earth. God didn’t creat a water world or the angels wouldn’t of shouted for joy. God didn’t creat something that is not finished or it not finished. For instance you can’t make a cake and say it’s a cake by showing the ingredients. God created a perfect earth the first time not a water world.

Great series. As a Bible-believing Christian, geologist and amateur astronomer, science says that the earth is 4.56 billion years old and the universe is 13.7 billion years old. I'm wondering how the math would work with those ages.
God told us he creared Heaven and Earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th. I think people have wasted God-given time in trying to come up with all these theories on when, how, and why. I believe that God would much rather we do our best to follow his teachings and his gift of Jesus Christ for our salivation! When you try to explain God's thoughts, reasons, or actions. It's above our paygrade. God Bless.

Interesting thought about the preadamic race... I always thought the demons were the deceased Nephilim. There was a BIG gene pool problem and Noah's DNA had not been infected/impacted. And the angels that were chained were the fallen angels that 'co-habited' with the daughters of man .... and then conceived offspring producing the Nephilim. In my mind that was where all the Greek mythology stemmed from.

According to R.H. Charles and his work (specifically on the book of Enoch) you are correct. Mardel sells the paper back version for about $8.00. Half of that work explains why it's been laid aside by both the Jewish scholars and church (per say), but remaining half describes in full context who the demons are, what their plight is and "God's perspective" on the matter. Personally, I highly recommend its reading.

The gap theory is basically a way for the pacification of the evolutionist.
The Bible does not contradict Science but it does contradict scientists.

I thought the expanding time theory was somewhat unnecessary and an attempt to sound “sciencey”
A day to Man is one revolution of the earth. What is a day to God, before there is an earth, a sun, and a universe? Even trying to use big ideas falls short and further constrains our understanding. We end up making ourselves feel smart by filling up whiteboards with calculations and theories, but at the end of the day we end up saying nothing more intelligent than “it’s turtles all the way down.”
Who are we to imagine we can fathom HOW God made the universe? I do believe that since God created the laws of physics, biology, and evolution, that those are the tools He used, but to imagine and explain the unimaginable is beyond Man’s abilities.
I like this video. Allowing different views on how God created everything is vitally necessary. If people conclude from science that the Earth must be billions of years old and the universe must be even billions of years older than the Earth, but then they are told that in order to believe God's Word is true, they must accept that God created the whole planet Earth and the universe only about 6 to 10 thousand years ago, then this will hinder people from accepting God's Word to be true, and this will hinder them from coming to a saving faith in the Lord Jesus. We must allow that God did things in mysterious ways, including that He has done many things, of which He has made no mention in His Word. God is allowed to conceal things from us, including the history of the universe prior to Adam and Eve's creation. Proverbs 25:2 from the Bible even says, "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter."

For you to claim that you don't necessarily believe in the gap theory yourself, you certainly are teaching it (and with conviction) rather than simply briefly explaining it.

On a tangent, while we are in Genesis, here is one verse that contradicts our eating habits. It appears we are violating the Bible by slaughtering and consuming our fellow sentient beings for food.
More than a dozen verses are on point, but here is an explicit one: Genesis 1:29 "I have given you every herb bearing seed, every tree in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed and to you it shall be for meat."
It is implicit in Job 12:7 "But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky and they will tell you, or speak to the earth and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you."

Genesis 9:3 after the flood God gave us permission to eat animals and plants for food!
That’s correct about eating meat after the fall (not the flood). However, for His people Hebrews (jews), He put restrictions on certain animals that were forbidden. After Jesus death and Resurrection, everything (meats) are to be eaten by thanksgiving and asking it to be blessed by God. But today’s food, meat, vegetables, plants are so filled with contaminants and people over indulge, thus….obesity and diseases.
We are saved by grace through faith.
Not through works, hermeneutics, or exegesis.
Not because of what we do or don't believe as far as how and when God created everything.
We believe He created it. We have faith in His grace. We are SAVED.
That's all there is to that.

Love the information contained in this series. Just curious where I can find, in secular scientific publication, the expansion rate mentioned in these first episodes. The 1 million squared.
Man, I love Pastor Alen's teaching. He makes brilliant concepts simple to understand. I know he said he didn't want to hear other theories, but maybe someone else would like to hear what I feel God gave me. I believe there was a gap, but it was a gap between the time Adam and Eve were created and the time they ate the forbidden fruit. I believe they could have lived for thousands or even millions of years and had thousands of children before the fall. The Bibe says that Eve's labor pains would greatly increase, which implies that she had already experienced labor. Also, maybe the people who lived east of Eden were Adam and Eve's other children, but because those who lived in Eden were innocent, they gave them over to God in perfect trust, and she didn't understand the whole concept of having Children, and the pain of bearing them and caring for them, until she had Cain, after the fall. Also, the Bible mostly just follows the genecology of Jesus, so that's why we don't hear of Adam and Eve's other children.
No, I done believe in the Gap theory. And, the Gods Genius Big Bang theory is not correct either because: When God creates, he creates with the appearance of age. When God created Adam, and breathed life into him and he was able to walk and talk. How old was he? If a scientist was to inspect Adam on the first day how old would a scientist say Adam was? He would appear to be the age of a grown man. The same thing applies to trees and other plants and animals and the earth and stars. They all appear much older then they are when first created. In this case scientist can not determine the age of the earth by their theories because God is supernatural and science doesn’t apply when he creates.
* I fail to see your point. When God created this world, and that includes man, He created everything to live forever. Also, why would He create babies of any species that would require nurturing before they could be fully functional? God would have created parents first. I just answered the age old question of which came first the chicken or the egg. Lol.

I am saying with such a powerful God that can speak into existence, a world, a universe, living animals, and a man in an instant, the gap theory is just that, a theory. We should not be so concerned with how God created earth and the universe. Just believe the bible and have faith in God. Questioning how or why or when God did something doesn't further our relationship with God. Its makes us seem like unbelievers in God. Dear God help us to read your word, understand and believe it so we know how what our future is and not be so concerned about how long it took you to create the world and universe. I believe you are an all powerful God that created for 6 days and rested om the 7th. I read your word and see the signs that say you will soon be returning to gather his bride with him in the sky. At about the 14 minute mark I heard something about a "dates" Bible? Did I hear that right?
Dake's Bible it was written by Finis Jennings Dake it is an annotated reference bible.
The Bible says God drew a circle on the deep. That is not a sphere. A plate is a circle, but Not a sphere. The Bible teaches that the earth is a motionless and is enclosed with the firmament. The face of the earth or breath of the earth as said in Revelation is speaking to a flat plane.
In the book of Genesis it mentions the earth is spherical.
You just drew earth on a white board, a flat surface just like God did on the deep. Your circle is not a sphere and neither is our earth.
* What's on the other side of your plate, and how do you get there? Do you know anyone that has looked over the edge? How many ships have sailed off the edge of this plate?
What shape is it? Ellipsoid is a flattened sphere…spheroid.

If the Earth had been in a deep freeze ice age for billions of years, why does Genesis 1 tell us that the Spirit of God hovered over the face of the water? It would say hovered over the face of the ice.

No, demons aren't the falllen angels themselves, but 'souls' of their hybrid children (one part human, one part angel) who are (1.) forbidden from entering heaven by God, (2.) bound to this earth until the day of judgement & (3.) that will be cast into hell along w/ satan during the millennia. All according to the book of Enoch. (Recommend the R.H. Charles book on the book of Enoch.)
Genesis 6:1-2 describes the angels who are in chains in Jude 6. These were the angels who left their heavenly sphere and “let themselves be seduced by the daughters of men.” So these angels in chains are not all those who followed Lucifer in rebellion but the group who lusted after human women.
Revelation 12:7 speaks of the Great War between Michael and Lucifer and their respective angels. The 12: 7-8 verses state
“they were defeated and driven out of heaven.. Satan …was hurled down to earth and his angels were hurled down with him.”
So, there are those who rebelled with Satan cast to earth, hence demons and those who left heaven to fornicate with women. The former are still on earth; the latter in chains (Jude 6) awaiting judgement. Jerusalem Bible translation.

Earth is 3d roughly round. Just ask an aeroplane pilot how he navigates.
Earth is 4.5 billion years old, not 16 according to science. Our universe is about 14-15 billion years old according to scientists.
* Easy to see where you put your faith. I'll leave that up to God to inform me when He thinks it's necessary for me to know. In other words, and this is just my opinion, I don't care. If someone wants to believe that science is infallible, knock yourself out.
Thank you, this was confusing to me too. He kept referencing 16 billion but that is nowhere in any science theory. Did he mean universe? I love his teachings but to be credible the facts need to be accurate so I was very disappointed in this teaching.

Sorry, will never, ever believe in a Gap Theory. We know that Adam had Seth at 130 years old. Adam and Eve could have fallen 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, or 20... years after the six-day creation. The Bible doesn't tell us, but it is very plausible. Exodus 20:11, For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. That means that Angels (including Lucifer) was created on day 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. Again, the Bible doesn't tell us the exact day Angels were created, but it was on one of the creation days. I believe the only thing created on the sixth day was Man. Because God was preparing a place for man first. We are made in the image of God, therefore we are the centerpiece of God's creation. Angels are not made in the image of God, although they are Sons of God because they are all direct creations of God. They have no parents like we do. Lucifers rebellion happened 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, or 20... years after the six-day creation. So let's say there was a pre-Earth and a pre-Adamic race. I guess there was no redemption or grace for these people like God has given us. God is not trying to figure it out or using trial-and-error. He is God and knows what he is doing that we will never understand. Jesus is currently preparing a place for us that believe to the glory of God the Father. Gap Theory sounds like something out of the Book of Mormon.
In a word Yes, the Bible does contradict science - creation story, age of the Earth, evolution, the flood myth, imaginary animals, angels the list goes on. Atheists enjoy Lord of the Rings as much as anyone, but we don't think it's real. It truly shocks me that in 2023 millions of adults believe in goblins and fairy tales, especially when scientific endeavour has provided the answers.

I don't believe there is much of a correlation between intelligence and skepticism. Atheists are natural skeptics, we don't believe in any gods for the simple reason there no evidence to support such a belief. Belief in religion is almost completely determined by upbringing and peer group, not intelligence. So..if in a roundabout way your evidence to support the validity of the Bible is based on the IQ of believers, I would again disagree, but thank you all the same for your comment.

Classically the best prophecy makers make very vague, open to interpretation statements, that make kind of sense when made, that are, subsequently, interpreted in hindsight. Nostradamus was the master of this. Every specific prediction ever has fallen flat on its nose, for instance, the Jehovah's witnesses end of the world in 1914. Christians continue to wait for a Messiah's return in vain... sensibly no date has ever been mentioned. As for Jesus's global appeal....John Lennon summed this up 50 years ago, and I agree with his foresight and wisdom. Christianity is a global religion not because of its fundamental correctness but because the major European powers that conquered the world in the 16th to 20th centuries were Christian. Islam's spread into Africa and Asia was similarly driven by military conquest. In the 21st century demographics and birth rates are the drivers of religious popularity. Muslim countries have higher birth rates and so there are more Muslims than Christians. Those countries that resisted European colonisation most successfully have fewest Christians, eg China, India and Japan.....India did not resist the march of Islam as successfully however, even after partition in 1947, there is a substantial Muslim minority in India. History, politics and the Beatles, that's a fair start to a Saturday!

I always feel the holy Spirits presence when listening to pastor Nolan. Everyone Is entitled to their opinions. Pastor never CLAIMS to know everything. He teaches and we listen and make up our own minds. Pray about it.... Anyway, like PASTOR said, none of it truly matters anyway. ALL that matters is believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and proclaim he died for us and God rose him up from the dead! Amen
