Still, the studio often focuses on friendships or - our subject for today’s video - the relationship between parents and their children.
From fantastic moms and dads to people that probably shouldn’t have ever become parents in the first place, it’s time to see which Illumination parents are Top Tier.Today we’re taking a mature look at these dynamics and see what they tell us about the parental love and traumas that exist in the real world.

I don't blame porsha for ditching her dad and leaving with the rest of the cast because at least she realized she overreacted a little and redeemed herself and finally joined the cast in the show and stood up to her dad during her performance.
Plus, I headcanon that after the events of the movie, she views Buster Moon as her TRUE father figure.
I’d still like to think she’d stayed at Crystal industry. After all with him in jail, the company most likely wanted Porsha to take his place. Plus with her as head of the company, she can help sponsor Buster and his crew
I could totally see that and since illumination entertainment has announced that we're getting a third sing movie hopefully in the upcoming third sing movie we'll get to see more father and daughter type bonding moments between them and we'll see buster being a better father figure to porsha and seeing him treat porsha like his actual adopted daughter I bet buster moon would be a better father figure to her than her actual dad Jimmy but who knows we will just have to wait and see in the upcoming third sing movie.

For the Once Lehemr, this is not just with his mother, but with his whole family, most toxic family of the world.
I just realized something. When Jimmy smashes the TV, he hits it where Porsha's image is. Really shows how he really felt about her.
Both Jimmy Crystal and Ming Lee are not very good Parents and don't actually care about their daughters with Ming being an overprotective mother while Jimmy being a businessman and terrible father and don't actually care about his daughter
One of the reasons I love the 2012 Lorax is because they made the the Onceler a nice relatable guy who wants to make his family proud instead of a evil villain.

Honestly I feel they felt sorry to onceler when they eventually suffer the fate he does. And if the onceler did, you can bet Brett and his twin brother will end up the same way.

I love Rosita,she was one of my faves in SING and SING 2. Plus she was also motherly with her cast mates, like with Ash after her breaking up with her Ex, telling her that he’s a jerk and giving her some candy from her bag. And in SING 2, she encourages Johnny that the first day is rough but he’ll get the hang of it.

Ugh Mario’s dad made me so furious when he called Mario a loser and told him that he’s dragging his brother down with him I was excuse me wtf what kind of father calling their child a loser for no reason whatsoever and Mario is amazing
He never called him a loser. He said he was nuts for quitting his well paying job.
Mario’s father is worried about Mario’s future and worried that he’s jeopardizing both that and the future of Luigi as well, but making rash decisions and dragging his brother along into them.
I love illumination’s Despicable me it’s one of the most underrated franchises of all time in my opinion
The Despicable Me movies are really good but I wouldn't say they're underrated. The third movie for example made over a billion dollars at the box office, which is a lot more than most other animated movies

Hopefully in the upcoming third sing movie we will get to see more father and son bonding moments between Johnny and his dad since we barely got any father and son from them except towards the end of both movies so yeah hopefully in the upcoming third sing movie we'll get to see more father and son bonding moments from this father and son duo.

All fathers are over protective with their daughter’s boyfriend, so Gru’s overprotective parenting is understandable.
Especially considering the fact that Margo very nearly died in the first movie. Gur is probably a little more protective of her during the events of despicable me 2 especially considering the fact that we don’t fully know the time gap between the two movies so it could be a few months- a year so safe to say that the fear of losing her is still pretty scary for him.

I wouldn't consider Herb and Scarlet's relationships healthy. I think there is debate whether Scarlet cares for her husband or not. If Scarlet's affection towards the Minions was conditional, there then is a 50% chance that Scarlet's affection towards Herb is the same. Since Herb always sticks by his wife's side, this is not confirmed, but we still have to consider it.

I love that Gru is a loving father to Margo, Edith, and Agnes after his days of being a villain are over plus Cindy Lou always cares and is concerned for her mom when she is overworking.
