I think my dad is a genius because after we watched this he told me that there should be an Olan Rogers biopic capturing every story he’s told into film.
Everything about you, Olan is just perfect. Your stories, your projects, you as a person and my, now, favourite series Final (freakin) Space. Sometimes I feel the reason for getting up in the morning is season 2 of Final Space!!! Can't wait! You're amazing. Never forget it.
When I was a 10 year old, i was in my like 6th year of soccer and it was now starting to get very competitive and we had this other team that the girl that was bullying me was on and her mother was a coach and her father was the ref and they let her cheat. My mom was an assistant coach and my uncle was the coach. Before a game we have to show good sportmanship and the teams are forced to do a line up and go high five the other teams and stuff. So we were doing that and i was the shortest and stilk the shortest person ever but back then i was tiny and the girl slaps me in the face as we were supposed to display good sportmanship and my mom and uncle see this and they report it to her mom and her mom says to my mom that her daughter would never do that your brat is lying. My mom said go f××k yourself and left the field to sit with my dad. My dad mouths to me "Do it!" And thats when i unleashed the beast. My team was up by 6 points and i made 4 of the 6 shots so this tall and overweight brat that hit me was now on me and trying to elbow me and she did, she elbowed my nose and broke it. I was pissed off. My uncle tried to take me out of the game and the mom of this behemoth wouldn't take her kid out of the game and the ref pretended he didn't see it because the ref was her dad. So my dad screamed from the audience sitting near the field we were playing on "Do it!!" And i was at the point out of f××ks to give that day. I was also bullied a lot at school by boys and girls much bigger than so thanks to my love for watching buffy the vampire slayer i decided to take karate more like taekwondo to be exact. I decided enough was enough this mammoth of a girl was going to get her buns splattered into the ground. So with a broke nose and bleeding i went back on the field. My uncle was like just get out of the game and lets get your nose fixed. I was like no uncle tony i want to win this. So chick decides to come after me after my team mate Sonjya passes me the ball. I was going for the goal when the huge hippo was full speed running my direction and she got closer and i stuck out my arm and close lined her and shot the ball into the goal and i won the game. The ref tries to give me a red card for knocking his daughter cold but my parents and the whole rest of the teams and other parents said your daughter got what was coming to her. I also managed to kick her dad in the shin and he yelped like a baby. My dad picked me up since he's like half giant (6'10 tall guy and i got stuck with my mom's genetics of being small!) And he screams "That's my baby!! Let's go get some McFlurries!! He actually still tells this story to his friends when they ask what is something your proud of your kids for. He doesn't say my amazing work ethic, his grandkids, or something about my job. Nope he says to his I am his badass soccer player. Gotta love my dad.

I am digging the Mooncake plush in the background!! Final Space came out around the same time we did IVF this year, and I swear one of our embryos was the exact shape of Mooncake. So, that's the nickname we gave it. Now I'm 25 weeks pregnant with that same embryo, and our little girl is is due in December! No matter what name she gets, I'm sure we will always call her Mooncake thanks to you. :)

As a mother myself ... I can so relate to his mom. My child pushed a kid after that same kid bit her arm. The mom of the boy comes up and...has the NERVE to slap my kid. I ran like I have never ran before and I just punched her on the nose with all the force I could muster and broke it in the process. My hand was swollen for days. The blood... everywhere. I grabbed my child and picked her up while I screamed to this demented woman to never touch my child again or I'll give the rest of her bones the same treatment. You could see the fucking bite marks on my daughter's hand. I saw the mother again waiting by the playgroup parking and her nose was covered in stitches. She saw me and looked down to the floor. And the petty bitch I am told my daughter loud enough so all the mother's could hear me not to play with that boy as he is the one who bit her. I saw the mother's look at me first and than to the child and than the mother. After that I never saw her again.

So, I had a similar story happen. It was a first grade grandparent lunch-in, my grandma and my aunt came. I was busy trying to get them some napkins for their food, and this bully who was bullying at the time tripped me up, and napkins just went flying. My grandma saw the whole thing, walked up to him, with her cane, and said "Hey, if you lay another finger on my grandson I'm gonna break your legs!"...he ended up telling the teachers cause I think he thought she was gonna beat him with her cane. And, he didn't do anything to me for the rest of the year, cause he was moving to Australia at the end of year, I guess that was the last bit of motivation he needed to be able to get out of town lol
Well I feel it is now MY obligation to only call nachos "power nachos" from now on. Scotty sounded like a straight up, tier 100 turd.....but boy, if he didn't invent the coolest name for nachos ever.
