Hi Yolande, this is another first for me in the gelli techniques. I love how it turned out. I was wondering. I saw you use two different methods of cleaning the brayer( wiping by hand and brayer off sheet) after brayering the distress ink and oxides. Is one way better than the other or are they about the same? I hope your weekend is going well! TFS 😊
@@kimberleymaloy1728 I find for cleaning off acrylic paint that usually just brayering off onto paper to remove most of the wet paint is usually sufficient (but not always for example if you need to use your brayer again immediately tge but if paint left on your brayer could still be a bit wet). However for water based inks (such as the distress inks and oxides) you will always need to wipe the ink off the brayer otherwise it will reactivate when used again (regardless of what you ink or paint you are using next). I hope that helps Kimberly. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful, thank you! I am wondering, a few moths ago, I watched a video where the artist used distressed oxide on clear acetate, then backed it with a Krylon specialty spray paint that gave an \ old daguerretype effect.I thought that I saved the video, but now can not find it; i am wondering if you are the artist who created the video? Thank you.
Such a beautiful finish. I am delighted you used inks today. ✂️📄🙌🌸💕
