Welcome to day 19 in my video series for #GelyPostcardPlay hosted by @CeriGriffiths This fun "challenge" involves posting a 4 x 6" postcard a day that includes at least one element of gel printing and also includes a number to indicate the date the card is posted. For today's postcard I wanted to do something for the Makers of Mixed Media Art and Artist Facebook group July #colourcombo of Pistachio, Purple and Neutral gray. I found a Pantone postcard that was approximately Pistachio color and then I used the gelplate to layer a stencil from ‪@PMartistStudio‬ designed by Paulla Keen. (Both Paulla and Ceri are responsible for picking the color combinations in our Makers Group). I used acrylic paints, sharpie acrylic markers and some Stencil butter to create the design that I then picked up from the plate using Contact paper (inspired by ‪@CreatedandMadeStudios‬ , link to her video below) and then placing onto the Pantone postcard.
