      Hey ola been trying to close in on one solar guitar that I want. If you read this with the evertune when I bend notes can you tell or does the evertune adjust so you can't hear the bend? One more question and I leave you alone I know your prob busy but does each solar guitar come setup and tuned a certain way or can the buyer ask for a certain tuning? Thx alot ola!! Get cha pull!!!

    This is a pretty cool design! Holeyboard also makes an expandable aluminum pedalboard, but it's modular, so you just buy the modules you need. I got myself all 3 modules back in December

    Pretty cool. But I still use a homemade one made out of wood, rubber feet, anti-slip tape, bit of paint etc... It cost me £5, been on tour with it and it... Works. 🤷‍♂️

      That’s what I’m planning on doing. Stain it a nice walnut color, drill through to hide all the power cables on the bottom, and build a cover for the top to protect the pedals during transport.

      Mine was made of a small crate. I had it since 2015 until 2019 I decided to just bring one pedal with me all the time.

      Got a 4 foot painters stand, removed the legs, painted black, velcro, I feel comfortable sayings its more durable than anything on the market

    Cool...I’ve always liked d’addario guitar strings. I never knew they’ve made pedalboard. And this looks pretty cool and innovative.

      @@ImpostorModanica I figure that since they also make effect pedal cables. I normally buy their guitar strings, but their effect pedal cables are really good. And I do find their pedalboards quite unique.

    I don't know anything about pedals, but I think it's pretty cool just like a gearhead has a bunch of motors and cars sitting around,
    Everywhere you look in Ola's place there's just Guitars and amps and pedals and equipment so this is the place for me to learn.

    I bought the smaller one a few weeks ago and it's great. However I should have considered how addictive building a pedal board can become and bought the large one.

    Okay, as somebody who's into pedals for EVERYTHING from guitar and bass to vocals and even drums (feed electronic drums through some effects pedals sometimes, it's fucking weird but awesome), this looks really freaking cool. And they're the dudes I buy my strings from! Hell yeah.

    Very cool short review! Would be awesome to see a demo of the newer Warwick Rockboard pedalboards with interchangeable clickable system of bottom pedal plates. Keep on rocking on!

    Always leave space for that extra overdrive pedal you're bound to add sooner rather than later. One can never have enough, or too many!

    Ola! I found a distortion pedal I think you should test. The Ibanez 7th Heaven. Dino Cazarez used it back in the day.

    I went to home depot....bought some 1x3 Azak with some 3M hardcore velcro and built my own pedalboard for $20 and it looks amazing and functions even better

    Cool idea, I use a Temple Board, they figured out a way to not use Velcro witch is great but so far I haven’t seen anyone else implement a similar idea, I’ll like to see what other’s companies can come up with to eliminate Velcro from pedalboards

    Looks neat, but I think I would go with the ones that Holeyboard is doing if I need a Pedalboard that can grow and shrink easily as needed.

    Hmm... Yes cool idea... But at nearly $200 for the large one, seems unreasonable... Doesn't appear to come with a bag to carry either... I lock my rather sizable pedal setup in a ROCKCASE; basically a flight case with foam on the lid Velcro on the base, and I've been happy for years

      the small one is flat so any power supply will need to go on to or of the board

      I just picked up the large one and can confirm that my Walrus Audio Phoenix fits underneath it. I believe the Phoenix is 2" tall. Not sure if it would fit under the small version though

      These power supplies fit under the small board: Cioks DC7, KSE Falken 1, Voodoo Lab Pedal Power x4 fit under the board.

    Ddario seems to think outside the box, like I have a ddario capo with a simple coil spring you can twist to adjust tension for different reasons such as more tension for acoustic and less for eletric. You would think this be standard but it isn't.. Way to go again ddario. Yet to purchase a single pedal 😂

    Does the metal in the middle stick up? I want one of these, but I have a loop switcher that is more than half the width of the board, and I'm worried the metal in the middle will get in the way.

    Ola, I used to say the brand as “Dee Ah Dario.” Someone commented on one of my videos and said that it’s pronounced “DDario” with no “ah” sound in between. Allegedly there’s a Phil McKnight video where he’s speaking with someone at their company.
    I’m going with you know far more than I do, was wondering if you had any insight.

      The bags are the fully extended size with a movable internal divider, so you can store other items in there if there's room.

      There are lots of people using the IKEA KNAGGLIG box to build their pedalboard. It's a cheap and quick way to start.

    Not putting the screws in a plastic bag 'like IKEA' is way more environmentally friendly. If only IKEA was as forward-thinking as D'Addario.

      One bag fits the expanded size (for each board) and has spacers for when it's more compact.

    I dig it. Great utility at a reasonable price. I just wonder if any musicians on the road are actually disassembling their pedalboards after each show. Seems like a normal board you can lug in and out of a hard case would be easier.
