I use my remarkable 2 and my boox ultra together. My remarkable is basically a notebook and a freewrite alternative. I use it with the typefolio (I like it okay), handwrite a lot and convert to text. I have the remarkable app on my boox and use that to copy and continue the process. I tried to get rid of one, but I really prefer writing on the remarkable and everything else about the boox 😅

I love the whole Boox concept but I have major trust issues about the device. The privacy is not really solid as per the tech community. If I were you, I would keep my Remarkable especially since writing can be a personal thing. I don’t want my data to be misused and be exploited in the wrong hands.

Plenty people have gripes about RM2 for the same reason. There isn't any encryption either. I work with sensitive data so that's the primary reason why I'm avoiding it for work. Unfortunately since they're all so pricey it means I won't buy more than one.
