When we are following our own love and dreams it is a magical time. In nature , it is magnified because of the Earth respondes in kind.

As I’ve grown older, I’ve realised that at some point, you stop needing to have a plot and instead, you allow your life to play out how it’s meant to.
The older I get, the more I see Women being described as having 'gone mad' or lost the plot, when what they have actually become is knowledgeable and powerful ❤

Losing the plot is the start of a lot of happier lives.
If you did lose a plot, you definitely found a better one. Many of today’s ‘plots’ are not worth finding or following and don’t even consider looking after Mother Earth the way you do. Blessings to you.

If the way you live is losing the plot, then bring it on I say!! Your hard work and collaboration with Mother Earth is paying dividends. What a glorious way to lose the plot!! And who really wouldn't want to lose it when the plot is designed to suppress and subdue us all; to distract us and pull the wool over our eyes. The plot has, for many, created the disconnect between themselves and Mother Earth. Losing the plot is the way to go!

At the brink of turning 75, I wander in my wonderings about my purpose, my choices, and things like ,*where is home, really*? As a formerly very busy person, the idea of doing what brings you joy can be mind boggling. But I'm learning. Learning that maybe what you think, and feel in your heart and soul and do in every small way actually is your purpose. Your life and your 3 acres have in a sense, restored Eden. That is true magic, and isn't that the only plot there is?
I hope this makes some sense, I just woke up and haven't had coffee. The cats are watching the birds on the balcony and haven't bothered with me yet either.

Whether or not you've lost the plot, depends on what you're comparing it with. Losing the "plot" of urbanised life, disconnected from wild nature as if it doesn't matter, spending a lifetime on screens and keyboards living up to others' expectations, meeting their needs while suppressing your own, trying to match their materialism - most of us watching and following you know you've found the true path! I am mended but it is ok. Spiritually I think the people that found you have a connection with you spiritually that we just know we have and we love the connection we have with you. I’m not sure why or how I happened upon your TH-cam page but I don’t think it was a coincidence. Listening to you is actually teaching me in my own personal journey of getting to know myself. It’s sad to say that I’ve lived on this earth for 66 years and am just now finding out who I am. It’s been a long tough journey but I’m slowly getting there. I have been stripping away the indoctrination and beliefs of other people. I’ve always had a connection to the energy of this earth and I’m learning to be guided by it instead of the people on it. Not sure if I’m making any sense but you my dear really have a great way of communicating your thoughts. Thank you Colette!

The capatilistic world of money, greed, lack of compassion, when selling weapons is more important than saving innocent men, women, children and the land that they lived and grew produce on is losing the plot. Throughout the world 🌎 there are so many people who dont reach the headlines but quietly, humbly are saving the planet by planting a wood and providing a life source through the guidance of Mother Earth and its inhabitants, creatures who we dont necessarily see, worms, etc who are continuing the life support of Mother earth 💚
So,no, Collette, you are right and I admire your determination, strength and commitment to the land.
Your videos have brought me delight, admiration and hope for the future of the world, because I know that so many who watch your channel will all learn from you and do what they can with in their capabilities to emulate what you have created.

People who are different always get criticised and judged, I.have had it all my life because of being different.

Bill Mollison has been called the "father" of permaculture back in 1970 very much like yourself ❤ I started another new garden in my new home 4 years ago now. It was only grass! Now i have 25 ft trees growing in chalk land….(such a joy)
This is because I’ve watched your cut and drop method videos. This year I was blessed with Mr and Mrs blackbird nesting right outside my kitchen window, they had 4 healthy babies and didn’t mind my 4 dogs.
Also the wild life is flourishing here now. But it’s still sad to see only grass growing all around me in neighbouring properties, even this seems to be a problem for them! Some are replacing real grass with this fake lawn. I just can’t understand it.
I live on lay lines here in between Stonehenge and woodhenge very much a peaceful place.
A place where one can connect with our ancestors and raise the energy sitting with the stones 🙏
If anyone thinks you’ve lots reality with there reality why would you bother to explain yourself. Let them go…I always have one word I say when this happens….NEXT 😂.

I don't know who's telling you that you lost the plot, but I would pay no heed. I "lost the plot" over 20 years ago, and I've been happier than I ever was. I'd say we actually found the plot, and the rest of the world have lost it. We must live our lives to our own calling. To do so otherwise is a life wasted and miserable. It beggars belief how some people can criticise your sustainability and pure way of life. We should all be living like you! As it is many who watch you, I hope, try to get as near as we can to not destroying what we have in our own little pieces of Mother Earth and try and make it better. I can't imagine that anyone watching your channel wouldn't want to make the world in, which we live, a better place, for ourselves and the children of the future. I prefer your earlier sound as you can hear birdsong and gravel under foot and cows in the distance . Your new mic of course picks up your beautiful voice but it doesn't pick up the sounds of Bealtaine. You haven't lost the plot , you are one of the very few that makes any sense . Love to you ❤️

It's been my experience that sometimes having no plan at all, just the will to do a thing and to be present in mind and spirit to see it come into being, results in the most satisfying accomplishment. It's like that with poetry. It just flows from the creative well and becomes.

We moved to our home 22 years ago. Out back was a large asphalted parking space used by the teenagers of the previous owners. I told my husband that only if that ugly thing would be removed would I be willing to buy this house. He agreed, and after the excavation, he called it Esther's expensive meadow😂 Our lot is less than half an acre, but when I think about it, I did exactly the same with my small space as you, dear Colette, did with your 3 acres. The trees I planted are now sheltering song birds and many squirrels. With bricks, I laid a trail through my tiny paradise. Gravel is also what I used for my garden trail. Now, I am close to being 80 years old, and the bricks have shifted over the years. It looks as if my magic place has always been there. I can't even imagine doing this labor of love on 3 acres! That is an amazing accomplishment,xand I am so proud of you!❤ The book, Braiding Sweetgrass, goes so well with the story of your life. Blessings from Virginia❤❤

Well, Colette, if you've lost the plot, then most of your fans on youtube have lost the plot, too😂 I found you on youtube while looking up permiculture videos, and I was delighted to find that I was just a year older than you where when I made the decision to escape to the west of Ireland to start my own garden & woodland, just like you did, best decision I ever made & even better, my hero lives less than 25 minutes away in Bealtaine Cottage, so if that means I've also lost the plot then bring it on!!

The plot has and was always to come into this life's true soul. It has taken many experiences and probably many more to do this type of being present with life. The contrast between worlds will become easier to see and the path forward easier to find. Of course, when you keep secateurs in your back pocket (smile) it won't be hard for you to open up the way. Dear Collette, keep on your unique journey, for some of us are not brave enough without your encouragement.

It all looks glorious because the Nature is the most glorious artist. No one can match it. One can only dwell in it. I’ll tell you what loosing the plot is. I lived on a small island on a 11.5 acres of enchanting forest in a small wooden home. Three years I have been the happiest but I gave in and agreed to sell it (it’s a long story) and now I am in a place where most people would love to be in a shiny city but I am totally depressed. I am missing my nature, I feel uprooted. I lost my plot.❤

Here's to we who are happiest on their own, even (especially) when those who prefer living with others constantly tell you how sad they are for you, how sad you must be...how worried they are for you (aren't you scared?) or even that you are wrong and would be happier living with others. Is it the independence that scares/worries them? Is it the deviation from the norm that frightens them? I don't ever see introverts trying to coerce others they would be better, happier, less scared if they lived alone. Some of us are just different and when you are, or choose to be, different in some way from the "norm", it threatens some people. I had a well-meaning friend who was constantly trying to convince me I needed to "find someone". I would reply "I'm very happy as I am, and why on earth would you keep trying to convince me I'm not happy!?" I had "found someone" long ago, it was myself. That doesn't mean to say everyone should follow my path, or Colette's, but more that we appreciate that people are different than us...and yes, happy in their difference. Colette, I absolutely and joyously celebrate your "different" path!👏👏👏

Our happy day dreams are based on the yearning for a peaceful, sanctuary that is always changing and evolving into a more than a yearning but it is a deep desire for healing, peacefulness, magical and spiritual things that touch our hearts and souls.
We all are needing to find a place to live with harmony and respectfulness for ourselves and the environment. Watching tadpoles become 🐸 frogs. Hearing the wind in the trees rustling and the sound of so many different types of birds in celebration.
Nature calls to us .
Collette has always shown the importance of creativity and joyously living with love and harmony in balance with the Earth.

I disagree about your opinion of social media. Yes, there are some nasty people out there there that can get under your skin. I’ve weeded them out of my view and some of my life. My problem with social media is that I spend too much time much time using it. Ie youtube. However, during those years of Covid it saved my mental health being able to view things I enjoy and also learning new things too.
