Theory (probably very incorrect): Sukie was having a moment when she was thinking about her first family and Zen was trying to calm her down, and then he thought about it, and if Sukie’s adopted mom was driving then she was technically responsible for Sukie’s fathers death, so he was trying to get her back for that. That’s why Fenders on his side and Faith is on Sukie’s side. T w T

It took me a while to realize this, but Faith wears a purple scarf to remind her of her love, Fender, who was corrupted, and this is shown even more when she fades to a corrupted Fender with a smile on her face at 1:15! It's a really small but adorable detail. Also, of course Fender would be the focus of the corrupted knights, he's Zen's best friend.
