小說裡跟短劇裡差不多，就是少了方少爺、傅先生他們幾個人物而已。薛岑跟許梅兩個人都是處在一夕之間失去了溫暖的家園，許梅的父母全離世了，許梅只能依靠親爺爺了，只能先寄人籬下生活，暫時性投靠陸阿姨。而薛岑是因為父親出軌的關係，造成了母親受不了打擊才會出車禍離世，整個家才會徹底的毀掉，薛岑才會跑去國外依靠外公。薛岑跟許梅走在一起剛好互相給了對方一個溫暖、幸福家…，互相尊重、照顧、扶持等…

This another version of the same main story played by Shen Haonan n Wang Gege but with different approach. Loved it ❤ 2,39 hours and didnt feel draggy. No unnecessary kidnapping and blood, just about relationship. FL who let go her past love to meet her destined love. I'm gonna rewatch if there is better subs, since some part are translated weirdly

I’ve seen a similar plot to this one before and honestly like this one way more. You obviously know the ML has always loved the FL but he plays it (kind of) whereas the other one I saw, I felt the ML was a little too obsessed with the FL. It was kind of off putting at times.
Okay I absolutely love the FL’s exes friend. He tells him from the beginning that the FL treated him so well to only be talked bad by him and that his friend didn’t deserve her to begin with. And now that her ex wants her back all of a sudden, he’s sticking to what he said and isn’t sitting there feeling sorry for his friend. That his friend was a piece of shit to her so how dare he even question why she wants nothing to do with him. Normally the friends of the assholes side with their friend and do some horrible shit to help them but not this guy and love to see it! I loved the line when the ex asks how can she move on from their relationship so fast. And the friend says “letting go of someone doesn’t happen in an instant. It’s an accumulation of disappointment bit by bit”. That’s probably the most real quote I’ve heard on these dramas. It’s so very true and I’m sure all of us have someone we can relate that quote to.
