    It would be great if one episode you could visit each of their villages and they could show us what they do for a living.

      You know I love this show and have been watching it from the beginning but I started to realize that we have absolutely no idea who these people are. They say their villagers but have you ever seen them talk anything about where they live or anything about themselves? I'm thinking it's a little peculiar.

    "unskilled labor" is a myth. as anyone watching can clearly see, physical laborers dedicate their intelligence, time and effort to revolutionize how their work is completed and the time in which it takes to do so. And on top of that, they also are working their bodies at maximum capacity every single day. Manual laborers are the backbone of any society and deserve more respect than the elitist powers at the top prescribe to them. I hope people reading this comment take a moment to reflect on the laborers that provide them with fresh foods and maintain the structures of society which we overlook and/or take for granted.

      Considering I work in manufacturing, having started in an "unskilled" part, packing the product, and still doing that often enough due to us having more machine operators than machines (they want people who can do multiple roles), I know that "unskilled" is more a shorthand for "didn't complete college and get a job that requires a degree or some trade certification. It takes a lot of skill to do "unskilled" jobs efficiently and effectively, it's just that the skills are more motor skills and hand-eye coordination skills, than brain skills. In short, these are jobs that nearly anyone can learn, but the ones we watched in the video these fine gentlemen were reacting to are people who stepped up and give 100 to 110% all day, every day.
      I can see that most of them have been doing their job for a few years, having learned the best way to do a job, with the least required movement, and the best speed to operate at to do the most without wearing yourself out in short order.
      Babu summed it up best when asked about speed and mentioned that everyone works within his capability. I would simply add that most don't really know what they are fully capable of when they are working while some give it their all and try to master doing their job.

      Strongly agree. 99.99% of our advancements as humans have been on the backs of "unskilled" and "uneducated" laborers.

    • @awax2585
      @awax2585 3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      You are describing the people in this video but for everyone of them there are 100 that just do the bare minimum (or even less) and whose intelligence and maximum physical capacity is roughly halved just by the act of breathing continuously 24/7.
      Everyone who has worked multiple physical or "boring" jobs will agree and it's actually the reason why there are so few people like the ones in the video because if your work speed is higher than the average of your coworkers, then you'll either adapt your speed because of jealousy and hate from coworkers or you become frustrated because you realize that not everybody is pulling their weight ...

    That reminds me of my previous career in banking. I spent nearly 20 years in the industry, and spent much of it doing branch operations, audits, and vaultkeeping. Even during my early teller days, I once did over 600 transactions in a single day. In my final years, I could count money faster and more accurately than the old machines we had. Good times.

    I used to work in a furniture factory here in the States.
    When you break down tasks to make the assembly line faster you would be amazed at how fast they build.
    16 couches an hour is about the norm. The ottoman/foot stool line was about 40 an hour.

    When you do repetitive work, you can get really fast. I made sausages, and when my mentor finally said "I think you're faster than me now." I had to make a new bar to pass, so I timed myself. I could make a 40-50 pound batch of sausage in 20 minutes, depending on how many ingredients (we had 65 kinds of sausage, like prunes and cognac, curry apricot chicken, and I even managed to invent my own SALMON sausage. They sold really well.)

    Also, some of the clips were obviously sped up. You can tell by the frantic/unnatural movement of some of the background people that are moving at "normal" speed/doing regular things.

    Man I love getting really efficient at doing jobs. When I was working as a delivery driver for Domino's I could unlock then get into my car, put down the pizzas while closing the door, put on my seatbelt with one hand while starting the car with the other and be ready to go all in about 4 seconds.

    You should make a Saturday morning cartoon series of these three on all their adventures. I still think you should also make Bobble Head dolls of them and sell them on your channel.
