My mate had a lovely Triumph chop, old school. He was on the M2 going to Reculver in Kent with a group of us, but he took a wrong turn and ended up heading for Dover. Then the valve gear inspection cap unscrewed, fell off and all his engine oil Poured out followed by a huge seize. One conrod was almost tied in a knot!
Thats just the way i like them, just enough parts wrapped around an engine to make it function as a motorcycle. No bags no touch screen, no fairing, no stupid stereo, god how i hate baggers.
I remember back when i traded my only car a 1972 chevy conv. even trade for a radical Trump Chopper, my father thought i have went crazy. The Temps dropped down to 16 Degrees 6 months later and i`m trying to drive it to work and my dad had pity on me and sold me a van on payments. Thank you Jesus for Helping us even when we make bad decisions.
The orange bike at 2:50 is a Phelon and Moore Panther. I had a 1965 model, 650 cc single. Not fast but plenty of torque. They were frequently sold with a sidecar. Made in Cleckheaton, York.
Nice video of chopper videos 🤙👍🤣😅 11:23 advantage of double Norton motors?? 👀 Expected some video of British bike chopper in UK Cheers from 🇦🇷 Argentina 🏍🏍
A bit of hair-splitting here, which some may well disagree with: some of the bikes described as "bobbers" are actually choppers. A "bobber" means that stuff was removed from a stock bike, and the rear fender shortened (or "bobbed") but the frame remains unaltered. When ya chop the back end off to put a hardtail on, it's a chopper -- whether the neck has been raked or not. The first "digger" shown is what a digger really looks like; the nice chop at 8:09 isn't a digger in any way. That said ... what a wonderful video, of some terrific custom bikes!
I've always heard the triumph hard tails without raked front ends were bobbers.IDK. I saw one guy call the not too radically raked ones "chobbers". Thought that was funny.
I only saw 1 bike in there that had a seat a chick could ride on, and I don’t think any chicks would try get that close to those exhaust pipes. My old Triumph chopper even though it was rigid frame probably had more chicks on it than all these bikes combined. I also used to carry a smaller woman size helmet. They really appreciated that after the last 10 rides they had to have a size 20 skid lid bouncing around on their head
Nice effort and credit where credit is due but after a lifetime of riding Norton 750cc and 850cc motorcycles plus riding beside some very well built and fast Triumphs the purist in me has led me to ask the question WHY ?.
You have to have a pillion seat, the number of times ive had ladies come up and want to have a ride with me...unless these guys are all married....like me haha
A guy I was working with showed me pictures of bike he was building. I asked him where the chix ride? He said on little pad on the fender. I said, no they’re not! I told him “ you don’t like chicks do you?” Ain’t no chick gonna ride on that. Girls like to ride on motorcycles. ( period ) Girls like a secure more reasonable seat to ride on, Girls like a nice ride on a motorcycle - not a terror filled ride from hell. I found that out many years ago.
They may be British engine's, but their definitely not British built. It was nice to see, and hear the Panther, I had a 600cc single as a kid, I'm sure you can imagine how hard it was to "kick over"?
Hey my video is in there hahaha. Cheers!
which one?
@@garethkeemore13 the one with Mohawk skinny jeans and a small shirt i think lmao
Instablaster.
Love the old brit choppers and the sound of them i grew up around them
I love triumphs, choppers , diggers , bobbers! Great video!!
Great Video......No FUCKING MUSIC..NO TALKING.....JUST RUNNING MOTORCYCLES......😀😀😀😀😀
The second one is gorgeous..
That's how to make a bike video - no commentary just lots of engine noise - congratulations

Thank you- reminds me of the good old days for sure. I had a 54 Triumph and a 67- a Speed Twin and a Daytona
Thats just the way i like them, just enough parts wrapped around an engine to make it function as a motorcycle. No bags no touch screen, no fairing, no stupid stereo, god how i hate baggers.
It's not a bag it's a purse. Get it right. Sheesh.
Ya have to put the beer somewhere...
Oh, my, that bump felt good.
That double Norton at the end omg looks like one he'll of a road rumbling beast...

Beautiful... motorcycle...my friend....👍😎🇧🇷.....here in Brazil....love ❤️... Chopper..s
Mine was Imperial star but I change clutch housing to AJS 500 due to it was more sophicater than BSA which used cork instead of clutch plate now.
Those are some sweet bikes.
Still seeing these amazing bikes at classic motocross scrambles in the uk
Art in it's finest form!
That low rider bike at the .045 mark was a lot like a bike I built using a kustom frame and tank from Arlen Ness back in 1968-73 period
That is one beautiful build. I did one similar to a 1960 pre unit. Diamond tank, and slammed with springers, no goose neck though.
Nice Panther.
Double norton is very cool, bet thats got surprise torq in it!!!
Late 80s, 90s I had a T120 rigid bar hopper. Fun bike.
great bikes great roads and great weather, now that IS the American dream,
Very cool video
Muy buenas motos, y excelente video! Saludos
Man that digger 👍👍👍👍
I think Triumphs makes the best looking Choppers I had had a few.

@@pauliebots Partly right -- early Triumphs were hardtails, OEM! So anything stripped from them to lighten the load, would indeed be a "bobber."
Just what I like to seek. Beautiful bikes, no helmets, no safety gear. Just get out and enjoy, no pressures 😮❤❤❤
I see no problem if it's just a low speed cruise to the local store or something.
Cool thanks mate
I love old Triumphs ❤
Love that norton bobber
Old school choppers look awesome! 70's an 80's
NOT chopper, no no wrong term. bopper have right, old school bopper.

That TWIN Engine Norton!😝
That was cool
Everyone doesn't need a Harley. I always like the Bober style low down biker style looks like home built.
Did someone say 'everyone needs a Harley"? - because, yea, they dont.
@@StupidEarthlings yeah I should have wrote wants a Harley Davidson no one needs a bike to ride
Projeto Chopper .
Sucesso JAWA TINO .
I have always loved My vintage Triumphs. But since my new knee, I’ve developed a taste for an electric leg.
Very nice
Хорошая подборка. С качественым звуком двигателей😊

the norton was different, but which one was amazing?
Gypsy rose was out of this world, and having owned and ridden a panther for a while, that ;)

This is a real WTF? video but I liked it !
I have a bsa that should be in this video, I just have to get it running
I am not into Harley's or cruisers or bobbers but I like the 70's choppers with British power , or Yamaha 650 or Honda 750 motors .
I remember British bike gangs when they transitioned from triumphs to honda sohc 750, and xs 650 motors, so you're correct.
I only saw 1 bike in there that had a seat a chick could ride on, and I don’t think any chicks would try get that close to those exhaust pipes.

0:40 saved us from "another boring bunch of choppers".
Some beautiful scoots. I loves me some British steel. Hipsters know they're dorks...don't they?
I don't think they do.
I don't think they do....
That double Norton is a death trap, much less getting your pants legs caught up in the pulleys
Real bikers wear boots common Sense isn't that common anymore smart bikers wear helmets

Мне интересно как обстоит дело с синхронизацией у мота с двойными и т.д. двигателями...
66 is my favorite of these but not real big on ape hangers. The chain shifter on the rat bike is just absurd.
Wherei get a t110 or a royal Enfield?

Comment about the bagger : if we all felt that way there would only bluegrass music. Would be fine ,but life would not be as fulfilling
Forever Two Wheels
