I know I'm late to the party but nice trick I found in the game is that if you curry favours during independence war with your supporters and reach these 10 favours you can completely disregard them in the peace deal, as long as they have at least 35 trust with you, they won't break their alliance with you ( of course there might be exceptions when your supporters are rivals to eachother however this method worked for me like 95% of the time)
