- In Texas, a man is placed in handcuffs after a traffic stop finds him with meth. The suspect attempts to escape and flee from the officer but he doesn't get far in his handcuffs. Elsewhere, officers respond to an attempted burglary and in Washington cops catch thieves with a stolen vehicle.
Real-life officers are followed by a camera crew, cinéma-vérité style, in a gritty up-close look at police work and the consequences of crime. It spawned a number of police-reality imitators.

I couldn't help laugh at that too, the camera looks around, then on ward he goes! There is another one where the first cop gets over this gate and the rest just swing it open, not even latched. Sometimes the adrenaline just overpowers rational thought...and we get to laugh!
