[BOSS ATTACKS & COUNTER METHOD]
Khamsin has two variations for all his attacks, "Instant" version and "Delay" version.
Axe Swing
Forward swing on ground or evasion, easily parried.
Grab (Instant & Delay) Unblockable
Tries to grab you. You can Chainsaw Dive the "Delay" but must Evade against the "Instant" (Evade toward his LEFT or BACKWARD. Evade his Right will get you grabbed).
Defensive Offensive
He jumps back while swinging low (similar to Raiden's Defensive Offensive dodge attack). It comes out extremely quick, so you may not react in time to parry it. Be aware he can do it anytime.
Overhead Smash (Delay) Unblockable
Slams axe to ground at targeted place. Easily seen and Evade.
Overhead Smash (Instant) Unblockable
Slams axe to ground 3-6x (random) and generally ends with "Sandstorm" or "Grab".
Sandstorm Unblockable
Double 360 Area Attack swing. Chainsaw Dive (or Running Away) is the only way to avoid this attack.
Triple Combo Third Hit is Unblockable
Kicks, Axe Swings then "Grab" or "Overhead Smash". If he does the Combo slowly, the whole attack is delayed, if he does this Combo quick, it'll be the Instant version.
Jumping Smash
This is a special attack, easily parried. See Tactics for more information this. This will lead him to Phase Two of the fight.
[BOSS PHASES ATTACKS]
Phase One (100%-83%)
Axe Swing, Grab, Defensive Offensive, Overhead Smash, Sandstorm, Triple Combo
Phase Two (83%-10%)
Phase One + Jumping Smash, Sandstorm (48% version).
Phase Three (under 10%)
QTE
[BOSS TACTICS]
"OVERHEAD SMASH (DELAY)"
Evade toward his RIGHT. This will allow you to use your "Crowd Control" which will always lead him to use his "Grab".
"SANDSTORM ~ 48% HP Version"
Sandstorm only happens after the "Overhead Smash (Instant)" BUT he also does it when his health is at 48%, so be aware as he'll suddenly do Sandstorm, hence you will be prepared for it.
"JUMPING SMASH SPECIAL ATTACK"
He starts this after 83% for the first time. After Parrying, you will be behind rocks where you must try to get behind him for an QTE-Attack. If he sees you, he will do Sandstorm.
The easiest way is to wait until he attempts to "Overhead Smash" the rock, then quickly run toward the Left or Right to get behind him while he is recovering. There is no need to attempt sneaking around him behind rocks as his "Overhead Smash" since it can auto-track your positioning sometimes.
"PARRY STUN"
Every 10 Parries, you will put the boss into Stun for a few seconds, allowing to give you a breather as you get some free damage against him.
It is important to try to keep this until the Second Phase since the risk of mistake is higher than Phase One since you have 60% of his health left to take down.
[BLADEWOLF ATTACKS SUGGESTION]
ASSAULT CLAW (LIGHT 3x)
Most effective attack against him. Best to use the first two hits to allow less recovery time for Evade or Chainsaw Dive, whatever boss may attack after recovering.
CROWD CONTROL (HEAVY 3x)
Best used after you cause a Stunning and Evade toward Right against "Overhead Smash (Delayed)". Any other times is too risky due to the huge recovery time.
CHAINSAW DIVE (JUMP + HEAVY)
Great attack to avoid "Sandstorm" and his "Grab (Delayed)".
You can follow up with a "Aerial Claw" (LIGHT 3x in Air) while coming down in mid-air, but delay it a little so you will be able to do all three hits on the boss (otherwise you may whiff in mid-air)

It's kind of creepy how you can hear snippets of "It Has To Be This Way" when Sunny and Wolf start talking about Raiden, same as in the main story ending, I know they're meant to sound triumphant, but...If Revengeance 2 gets made I wonder what the hell Raiden is gonna be like.

Actually there are 2 bosses in this DLC. There is an optional boss fight with a fellow LQ-84i when you get inside the building at the start of the DLC. If you win, you get an Endurance Cell

Idk you guys, but I have been noticing that the playstyle of Raiden, Sam and Wolf are different from each other. Jack is balanced, being able for quick, strong and quick attacks. Sam can't do stealth kills due to the way of the samurai, but compensates it with powerful attacks for great combos. Wolf works more effectively when stealth killing
The onlt thing ive been noticing is DAT ASS
Tbh I feel that Raiden Is fast But Less Powerful, Sam Is less Fast (When Not doing a fucking Judgement Cut at least) but stronger in hits And his combos Are simple and Bladewolf Is a mix of both, weak and fast loght attacks, But Strong and slow heavy attacks

Sam is strong but Raiden after his upgrades and finally knowing what he really wants was just better.
Ps:- Sam can't do what Raiden did to excelsus. Sam was a human, Raiden is a Cyborg. Even a peak human like Sam cannot hope to match a cyborg in terms of Raw Strength. It's just no possible.

That may be so, but here's a neat thing about that. Remember that part at the beginning about programming Wolf to view his enemies as less than human? That's how she views him. That measure of arrogance and ignoring her own medicine is one of the things that lad to her downfall. Raiden and Wolf are too smart to follow that Hogwash.

I can't get over the quick time event with the boss. The person playing this timed their moves perfectly to match the music and it is amazing.
Sorry to bring this up, but is the devs who make that work. Game design also goes for sound design. When you kill and enemy wright near the ending music? Thtas the devs. When some striking sounds go in the music with your attacks? Sound design. Loop music in boss battles? Design. Sorry fan, no "timing perfectly to be cinematografic".

Amusing on 2 levels
Bladewolf was my favorite side character of MGR. When this DLC came out, it made it all the better understanding his struggle.
You know a speech is deep when even an AI is looking far into the window while speaking it out.
Probably my favorite part of mgrr is the fact that you can hear a boss’s story in the song when you’re fighting them. Bladewolf’s song speaks of longing freedom. Mistral’s song speaks of wanting a place to feel she can call home, which happens to be the battlefield. (I forgot his name, but he’s the boss in this video)’s song feels like it’s about freedom as well, but not freedom from what the others are wanting, he wants freedom for everyone, so that he can be someone special, I got this idea from the line “Here I am, dirty and faceless, ready to heed your instruction. All I know, invisible warrior, I am a wind of destruction.” and “I know what I’ve been told, but this is so the people can’t be controlled.”. I find it amazing that the songwriters of this game were able to write an entire story into a video game song that you can barely hear over the combat and dialogue.

With revengeance being the final game in the series chronologically I believe that this is quite literally the perfect ending metal gear could ever end on a serious paved with bloodshed, people trying to find out what it means to be themselves or even what it means to be human, the metal gear series ending on an AI recounting the trauma it went through only to end on a beautiful sunset is quite literally such a perfect way to end the series of metal gear

easily the best part of the game. finally the game rewards you for sneaking, the final boss is badass and makes 'stealth' useful (running beside him when he's looking the other way) but the movement was really bulky for me

I LOVE this video because it's, probably, the only video that matches the action and music perfectly with each other during the Khamsin boss fight. Other videos time the SlowMo part of the fight differently, and it makes the whole event seem a bit awkward.
I suddenly like Blade Wolf a lot more. This makes him more like an actual character and gives him some real development.

Absolute Lunatic in other words, he’s a super smart robot dog.
He's technically an android or a bio-android since cyborgs are originally biological then augmented with cybernetics to varying degrees. Androids do not originate from existing biological entities and are purely machine. Bio-androids, on the other hand, can be considered the opposite of androids for they are mainly machine with added biological components or augmented with bio-like parts... That's how my robotics prof defined them but I dunno...

I actually had more fun with Wolf's DLC that Sams. Main reason being that Wolf's was much more stealth focused plus we got a new boss fight (all of Sam's were stuff we'd already seen before) with a new track. Story wise I only like Wolf's more because it at least finished what it started. Sam's gave little explanation to how he ended up at Desperado outside of "I kicked your ass we're friends now."
Neither of the DLCs having new areas was complete bullshit though. Nobody can deny that.

You may find that he will try to jump after you stun him the first time and hit him since this puts him below 85%. You can either choose to throw some more heat knives at him or attack, but either way, you can prevent his first jump and keep him on the ground should you choose this route. I would advise against this if you're going for a speed run though since whatever damage you do during this time won't amount to the 15% you can do to him during the QTE sequence after the rocks.

Actually, I'd like to add a couple of suggestions for the boss tactics, MasterLL. If you have heat knives during this fight, for every three you hit him with, he will become stunned. You must make contact with Khamin himself, not the unit.
If you hit Khamsin with two heat knives, then the third hits his unit and you hit him again, it won't work. It has to be three consecutive strikes to Khamsin's body. If you manage to get him with all 10, you can usually bring him down to about 75% or so.

That's some high-level gameplay. I always get annoyed when I watch poor gameplay skills but. you did a great job. utilizing the time by doing air attacks while you can't attack your enemy on the ground. nice job. 👍

I'm guessing the prototype part was the AI while the body is a mass produced LQ-84, which might mean that it's Blade Wolf body was perhaps more powerful, since it seems to be similar to Raiden's cyborg body which is a specialty model.

I really love this game :) but i love somehow more the story of Sam as of Raiden (cuz i have also the fox blade and its OP) .. hes kinda just a bare human in such gear and is like still a match for the badass android Raiden.. and blade wolf is just awesome :)
