I bought a Glock 43 for my wife and the G2C for me about the same time. My wife had 4 malfunctions failure to feed as well as failure to eject, and she hated the gun because it just kicked to hard for consistent shots. I have (now) over 900 rounds through my G2C without one malfunction of any kind and i love my Taurus! My wife did not "limp wrist" it as she has years experience with guns and i tried the Glock and had a failure to eject. I own many Glocks and there fine but when comparing a similar sized Glock 43 to the Taurus G2C i would choose the G2C all day long as i have lost my faith in the Glock 43!

I've got maybe 500 rnds through my g3 , and I love it . It took me months to find one I wanted it so bad , got lucky at one of my local shops they had one "accidentally" hidden that I saw , bought it on the spot .
A few years ago I got two PT-111s for $185 each for my daughters. I wanted one for me but never got around to getting it. Last year I couldn't find one and wound up getting 709 Slim 7+1 single stack for $199. I almost got the G2c this past August but then I heard rave reviews about the G3c but nobody had it. I had my LGS order one for me for $269. I like it better than my M&P compact. I'm a happy gunner.
I like what you said, i.e., when it's time to go to work, piss-on the trigger particulars, just get busy. And, a lot of people carry these pistols because they're not picky eaters - 115, 124, 147 - ball, total Metal jacket, & HP. I have a PT111 & a G2C. Taurus may have done wrong in the past but this line of pistols rock.
We have both. Just got my wife the G3c for a carry pistol. And we have the G3 for home defense. That G3 is what we used to teach the teenager how to run a pistol.
Same here. The G3C is now is my EDC and the G3 is the home gun/range gun for my sons when they shoot 9MM. I’ve found both to be super reliable and have yet to have a single failure with either after running 7 different rounds through each. Great guns, for the price it’s kinda shocking how good they are.
I carry a g2c because I love it. Changed the sights and the trigger and it’s my favorite gun. I have several “brand name” handguns that I sometime carry but I always find myself picking up the Taurus. Thanks for the video!
I got my G2C and my G3 for under $250 each and my TCP was under $200. My TX22 I purchased during the COVID gun shortage and paid full MSRP but it was worth it. All my Taurus pistols are accurate, reliable and eats everything I feed them. Thanks for the video.
Yes the full size G3 was going for $250 for awhile, I’m loving the new stuff coming out like the toro and coming out of the factory with the Romeo style red dot sights and G3XL
My wife has the G2C, I have the G3 stainless steel, and G3C, and have had great luck with them, no problems and shot lot of rounds through them, not so many lately no ammo, but Rural King in Indiana still have G3C's for 259 dollars , Dec. 20, 2020, and G2C for 204 dollars , just don't last long on shelves. This made me come back to Taurus . I had a 50/50 track record. Had 357 snub was flawless but their compact 45 that broke after 100 rds . Had their 500 sw revolver that broke as well after a few boxes of 500 that they discontinued and replaced with a 454 that was great . So really stopped trusting them for over a decade . Now being made in America and hearing quality and support improvements I picked up g3 for 270 3 mags . Works great . Not the greatest looking finish but the grip is perfect . In the house it’s my dedicated bathroom gun .
If ya think about it, the bathroom is where you’re most vulnerable. There used to be a guy named Thompson, who was a bodyguard and gun writer, said he kept a SS pistol with him even in the shower.
I bought the G3 off of y’alls recommendations, absolutely love it and my girl loves it too. I like the weight and size as well. My only complaint is that the grip is a bit too aggressive for my hands after a bit because I work with my hands and they frequently get damaged.

It feels nice in my hand I love the sights and the fact that it came with 3 12 round magazines was a plus it also comes with warranty paperwork that you call in instruction booklet gun lock & you get to subscribe to Taurus USA where they have all types of things for the Taurus products which I also loved. Carrying this 9mm makes me feel safe has I have a CPL license with so much going on in the world right now women should carry in my opinion it's our legal right to bear firearms in the USA & I am exercising my right as a American Citizen & will continue...great video Josh & Josh you guys are to funny love you both
I now have both the G3 and the G3C. The G3 was my EDC until I saw the G3C in sale at a local shop for $270 and grabbed it. They’ve both run flawlessly with my sons and I running 6 different range rounds and 4 different hollow point rounds at this point. Not a single failure from either pistol. They’re both very good guns, when you factor in price it’s a ridiculously good bargain.
Purchased a G3c several months ago from Rural king & it is working just fine!!! For anyone who might be on the fence, Simply submit your warranty info & you have a LIFETIME WARRANTY! Also, The 30, 32. or 35 round PT -111 MAGS FIT. I FORGET THE EXACT ROUND COUNT, SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 30-35.. Many parts available from LAKELINE, BLOODY WHEELS, There is also a person who makes you tube video's & makes 3d printed thin mag plates for better concealment, I was forced to have to move & my package is at my old residence but, I cannot remember that company's name, Bloody wheels also offers the thin mag plate, I really like the speed loader from Bloody Wheels, it helps alot!

You said something that's very true, in a shitty situation the only thing that matters is reliability, you won't feel differences on trigger on stress. That being said, my G3c came with better trigger than my glock. Sure you can expend plus 150 in another aftermarket glock trigger.

In the past I could care lass about any handgun that's not a Glock, until I noticed Taurus was using Metgar mags in there handguns. I now have two G3's and trust them completely, and I bought both of them used from pawn shops. Taurus has stepped up to the plate with the G3 line of handguns.
I like the P365 Xl (15 round mags/optics ready)because you can buy a P365 lower for cheap and conceal better in shorts. That G3c is a decent gun for price.

As someone who swears by glock I'm carrying a g2. I use to hate the taurus when I was younger because of the unreliably but now I'm a fan put almost 30000 rounds thru this I only buy federal champion but they have only had like 5 miss 🔥 which I think it was because of the almo my other guns is a FN 503 glock is a great gun but for my budget taurus is on my hip

Yeah I've been filtering the g3c in as my every day gun with the Walther PPS original and the P365 but I'm always worried about the 365 after all the issues. Mine is before all of the fixes..

I have hold both pistol and went for g3. You'd be surprise but you can conceal the g3 and it is very comfortable even if it is the full size version the frame is so thin enough to conceal especially when you use the 15 round mag.
Myself and my son at multiple Taurus handguns, a few of the g-series guns, also have a couple revolvers. These are Great guns especially at a great price. They'll get the job done he needs to get fancy anyway
Glocks! either love em or hate em. Only glock I like is 10mm 🐘 gun. Good luck finding Ammo. Once Military & law enforcement went away from Glocks & went to slimmer made guns doesn't mean glocks are bad. I don't care for the blocky frame. Triggers & barrels matter. Price point is great. Good to have a few of these laying around just because. If you like guns have your higher end middle of rd & a few 3-500 guns. Good review.

Well...there always the S&W M&P shield plus. I own them both and I like the M&P but for the price difference I'd say they both stack up. Reliability? No difference. I got my G3 with triple dot sights. A really great sight picture. Yeah...pretty much all ammo eats it up.
Love my G3, I've pumped lots of tula through mine with zero FFE, FTF. Need you guys to make a fat guy holster with sidecar, and light bearing for the G3. Oh and with an optic cut.
Hell i liked my g2c so much when i first got it i put night sights on it lol.it makes a great door panel gun for my truck. Dont think i would ever carry a taurus.

Looks like it's time to trade in the ol' G2c for the G3c. I bought the G3 on a whim at the beginning of the year, haven't shot it a ton, I've been experimenting with a Canik TP9SA mod 2 most of the year. That's neithet here nor there, I just like to throw their name out there because I love canik pistols as much as my glocks & now taurus pistols 😂😂 but anyway, when I bought the G3 (and earlier, the G2c) I thought to myself "wow...what a great option for a low-cost G19 & G26" because that's Basically what these are. And that's why I bought them 😎🍻
I have a G3 and a G3C I use a center hold shooting them. With both guns they shoot low when the sights are lined up correctly. On both guns I must hold the front sight above the rear so high above that the very bottom of the front sight is aligned with the top of the rear sight at the point where you can just see the top of the gun where the very bottom of the front sight goes against it. I dont understand why they are like that. My other hand guns the sights line up top of rear sight with top of front sight. as far as the windage both guns shoot center target of the target

My G3c will not feed hollowpoints. I sent it back to Taurus. They ran 30 rounds of FMJ through it and said it was OK.

3 guns for under 600 bought a used g2c for 100 a used g3 for 150 and new gx4 for 275 all habe worked with no issues really reliable and accurate

As someone who swears by glock I'm carrying a g2. I use to hate the taurus when I was younger because of the unreliably but now I'm a fan put almost 30000 rounds thru this I only buy federal champion but they have only had like 5 miss 🔥 which I think it was because of the almo my other guns is a FN 503 glock is a great gun but for my budget taurus is on my hip

I feel comfortable carrying my g3 it is thin enough that you can conceal it using sticky holster very comfortable.

The PT111 and G series also take P226 mags aswell. Got one and love my G3c. Awesome job on this review. Had SCCY. Yeah got rid of it.
Put some night sights on mine, polished the barrel and put LakelineLLC upgrades on, hard to beat this little one.

Yeah I've been filtering the g3c in as my every day gun with the Walther PPS original and the P365 but I'm always worried about the 365 after all the issues. Mine is before all of the fixes..
Oh shit!!!! I definitely would not be carrying that 365 man, especially with it not having the fixes and it being before they decided to fix them... so basically it is the first gen? I would send that shit to them to “get it fixed” anyway
@@BlackDiamondgunsandgear Yeah with my manufacture date, however you would label it, gen 1, pre-fix, etc. I've never had any issues with it, but I feel like it's a ticking time bomb. I wanna send it to Sig but for now I'm carrying the others.

I have hold both pistol and went for g3. You'd be surprise but you can conceal the g3 and it is very comfortable even if it is the full size version the frame is so thin enough to conceal especially when you use the 15 round mag.

Myself and my son at multiple Taurus handguns, a few of the g-series guns, also have a couple revolvers. These are Great guns especially at a great price. They'll get the job done he needs to get fancy anyway

Good luck finding Ammo. Once Military & law enforcement went away from Glocks & went to slimmer made guns doesn't mean glocks are bad. I don't care for the blocky frame. Triggers & barrels matter. Price point is great. Good to have a few of these laying around just because. If you like guns have your higher end middle of rd & a few 3-500 guns. Good review.

Well...there always the S&W M&P shield plus. I own them both and I like the M&P but for the price difference I'd say they both stack up. Reliability? No difference. I got my G3 with triple dot sights. A really great sight picture. Yeah...pretty much all ammo eats it up.

Hell i liked my g2c so much when i first got it i put night sights on it lol.it makes a great door panel gun for my truck. Dont think i would ever carry a taurus.

Looks like it's time to trade in the ol' G2c for the G3c. I bought the G3 on a whim at the beginning of the year, haven't shot it a ton, I've been experimenting with a Canik TP9SA mod 2 most of the year. That's neithet here nor there, I just like to throw their name out there because I love canik pistols as much as my glocks & now taurus pistols 😂😂 but anyway, when I bought the G3 (and earlier, the G2c) I thought to myself "wow...what a great option for a low-cost G19 & G26" because that's Basically what these are. And that's why I bought them 😎🍻

I have a G3 and a G3C I use a center hold shooting them. With both guns they shoot low when the sights are lined up correctly. On both guns I must hold the front sight above the rear so high above that the very bottom of the front sight is aligned with the top of the rear sight at the point where you can just see the top of the gun where the very bottom of the front sight goes against it. I dont understand why they are like that. My other hand guns the sights line up top of rear sight with top of front sight. as far as the windage both guns shoot center target of the target

Well one is a Duty pistol, while one is a concealed carry pistol because it is compact size. Just depends on what you want out of them.
