Amen! It really doesn't cost THAT much to produce a polymer, striker fired pistol. How much are Glock fan boys willing to pay, in pure profit to Glock, for what is now an obsolete, inferior hand gun?
Im planing to buy a new one and im eyeing the G3c but im confused is it really reliable? Mine is old a CZ83 all steel but very very reliable gun in 380 , help me out guys
I bought a G3C about 3 weeks ago. I was carrying a 1911 .45 Colt. Its too heavy for me anymore. I love this gun. I love this gun. Changed the sights, polished the ramp & chamber. Its a little hard for me to rack the slide.I am 68 & not as strong as I used to be.
The BEST thing about the g2c and g3c is that with the double action feature, you can put a laser cartridge in it and dry practice without having to rack the slide every time you press the trigger. It sure improves your shot groups.
@@seth3000gt you are so wrong, the exercise is far from pointless. A laser trainer is to give someone an opportunity to practice WITHOUT having to go to the range and improve their trigger control. As for damaging the firearm, I don’t see how dry firing for 10 to 15 minutes a day will damage a firearm that was MADE to do this. Most of the quality laser trainers have a rubber insert in the cartridge right where the primer would be on a live round. Also, every firearms instructor in the world advises dry fire practice to their students, including me.
@@seth3000gt I understand about snap caps but if you look at the quality laser trainers they do have rubber where the primer would be. That’s so no damage will be done to your firearm. As for the double action pistol, most revolvers are double action and are made to be dry fired. The technology of a double action revolver is not that much different from a double action pistol. I know there are some differences but they are minor. Dry fire practice is life saving practice and I encourage it as often as someone can do it. By the way, thank you for the polite discussion. 👍
Thanks for your review guys, you highlight everything that I thought when I created the G3 and G3c! Taurus will surprise you even more in the coming days. Congrats from Brazil
Old video I know but I have a g3c (2 years ago) and I like it and like that is has a safety but I can't use it as a CCW because it has had feeding issues. Every time I go to the range it happens. So don't feel comfortable carrying it but I still keep it in my car and in my gym bag when I go to the gym. I bought a shield plus for a piece of mind and love it. No issues with any ammo. For the record I have a glock 17 as well and had no issues. G3c was the only gun that did. Maybe it's just mine but glad others are enjoying it.
Watched this video Sep 9, 2022, 2 days after I bought the G3c. Mine came with 3 10 round magazines. Pay attention the UPC and the Item # when you buy if 10 rounds vs 12 rounds is important to you. The gun is the same price no matter the magazines. One other comment, only is the SCCY a pos like you said in the video, so is Kel Tec. Never had a SCCY, but had a Kel Tec P11. The worst gun out there. Jammed ever time I fired it no matter the brand of ammo. Failure to eject and failure to feed. I "gave" it to a pawn shop after it sat in my safe for years. Prior to that I even sent it back to Kel Tec and they sent it back to me "fixed." Well it wasn't. It had to go. Good video guys.
I just scooped up the g3c today for black Friday at $200! I love my g2c and have been eyeing up the g3c for about a year now. For $200, I couldn't pass.
Good buy. I’ve got a g3c and a hellcat and like the g3c pretty well and swap carrying it with the hellcat. Wouldn’t mind getting another g3c or maybe a g3 to toss in my mini safe in my basement just in case someone got in the house and I were in the basement.
Just got my g3c for $200 after $25 mail in rebate. I still have my pt111 g2. The safety trigger blade broke on pt 111. Sent it back to Taurus. Two weeks later got it back . They fixed it under the lifetime warranty. YOU GOTTA LOVE IT
Thanks for your review of Taurus G-2 Series Pistols. I purchased my first PT111G2 in 2016 and it continues to run flawlessly and has had zero failures. I have since purchased and fired several other G2-Series pistols and all have shot equally well. I plan to take my Taurus G3C to the range tomorrow. Today I'm carrying my G3X. My G-Series pistols quality wise, function equally well compared to my FN, Ruger, EAA and Canik firearms.
I remember when Taurus first came out with the Millennium 9mm. Texas had passed CCW and I was getting mine and during the qualification shoot, there were about 5 people with Millenniums and I kid you not, every one of them had stoppages. They were all new shooters and had bought the cheapest pistol they could find. I was shooting my old G17 LE trade in and put them all into one hole - which was easy because you're never more than 15 yards away from the target... I vowed never to buy a Taurus poly autoloader at that time. I currently have a G3 and a G3C and love em both - they are great pistols period.
I bought a G3c about a month ago, and I am very pleased with it. I can't find anything to complain about it. The manual thumb safety is unnecessary, but it's a simple matter of ensuring it is thumbed off when the gun is holstered. The G3c will not replace the .45ACP pistol I carry daily (NO 9mm can do that!), but if someone is willing to settle for a 9mm for a concealed carry weapon, I can't think of a better choice. The Taurus isn't "cheap" or "budget" ............ it is inexpensive. Don't buy one if you need to brag about how much you spent on YOUR 9mm. The bad guy doesn't care about the brand of the gun you use to stop him.
@@rico300zx Thanks for that, but I'm not sure I need to buy another one. Finger off the trigger and keeping the thumb safety pushed down while holstering should have it ready to go if needed. But I AM curious, so does it have a new model number or something?
I know it’s two years later, but the first full size G3 came out with the plastic sights, but they soon fixed that issue and adopted the Glock metal sights. The new back sight is dovetailed instead of the same style as what the g2c has.
What makes Taurus stand out is that when you consider pistols in the same approximate category of higher capacity subcompact 9mm they provide better capabilities for less expense. For example Ruger Max-9 is in the same category but you cannot run +p or +p+ ammo in it yet it is over 400 dollar MSRP. Granted it comes optic ready but they have the Toro model G3C which is optic ready that is retailing around 360 to 380 and can handle +p loads and still comes with 3 mags. The Hellcat, Sig 365XL, and new Shield plus all come in over 500.00 and only give you 2 mags. It could be argued that they provide no better triggers and maybe a better anti-corrosion finish but is it enough to warrant an extra couple hundred dollars at the checkout? The Glock 43x and 48 fall in a weird segment that does not exactly compete because of the capacity and gripsize. Now in glock's defense, the 43x and 48 are the first Glocks that fit my medium small paws. But for what you get in the box it should be the price of a Taurus and the Taurus be the price of the Glock. I own the G3C and a Keeptinkering trigger, Lakeline LLC stainless striker sleeve, a stainless dual captive guide rod, and a set of Hi-viz express tritium fiberoptic hybrid sights are in the works for it. One thing I found is that the G3C likes heavier loads it does not perform as accurately with 115gr it likes 124gr and up best performance coming from 147gr subsonic.
A few months after this video was published, I looked at a G3c at one of our local Academy stores. $299. I liked the feel, but wasn't ready to buy. As I turned to walk away, I spotted another one in the case a few feet away. Wow! Love it. No change except it was in Flat Dark Earth. I bought it and went straight to the range. :) Loving it more each day. I now have a factory 15rd mag and it fits perfect with the Taurus sleeve on it.
Still looking for "Ohhhhhhh Royal King" that cracked me up on your shooting video of the Taurus G3c. I would love to do a video or phone chat with you guys. You guys are great and thank you.
I bought my G3C on 12/18/20 and i'm currently waiting for my License to Carry to come in any day now. It's my first handgun and my second gun. I've had a shotgun for home defense for a couple of years. I'm really happy with the G3C so far. Definitely a great budget pistol.
been doing research for MONTHS on a first home defense that could flex into an edc not just for me, but for my petite, small-handed wife as well, at a blue-collar value…and after hearing about taurus from a family member, you boys just sold me on the G3c as a viable choice at a budget value. thank you for the content. like, subbed, notis on
@@deamcn6548 i did decide on the G3 over the G3c. its ran just fine for me so far. put about 600 rounds through it without any failures yet. is it the most expensive and fancy toy?… no. but i do trust it to protect my family should i ever need it to. God forbid thinking about trying out one of keep tinkering’s trigger upgrades for it as i do have big hands and dont love the feel of the trigger though it functions fine. just a bit of an adjustment
@@oui_acklimate_ that's awesome man. I will tell you, I have one of the original pt111's and it's had Lord knows how many rounds through it and my trigger feels great. I guess after so long it gets smoothed out and it literally has no creep when you hit the wall. It breaks very nice, and light. I like to dry fire when I have nothing else to do too. My wife's G2C is newer and it's trigger is starting to get there too but it just takes a little while. I've never been one to mess with the trigger though, I liked the triggers in them both. But yeah man, these guns are legit and pay no mind to anyone who says otherwise. I still carry my old pt111 G2 every day and have never had a single problem with it.
I have had a G3 for a couple years , love it but just recently bought a G3c for carry and It is perfect feel I noticed and my first two range days my groupings are so much closer g3 was keeping within 3" , G3c already hitting holes and staying within 2") , Im positive its because my hands are smaller . love the g series everything about em right down to looks . Great Vid btw.
I love my G3C. My first purchase, and I'm hooked. I have a Baldr Mini. Greendot/light combo on the rail. Great weight for everything. One of my research videos before purchasing my Taurus, thanks guys.
Glad I missed out on all the crappy Taurus products!... I Got in with the G2c ... Then collected the whole G series... Not a single issue with any of them... No less than 3000 rnds through each... Budget, feature rich, great shooting , and reliable.. Taurus good wit me!
I'd like to see you do a full, in depth review of the Taurus G3C and maybe include footage of it at the range. I just bought myself one back on March 31st, and I paid $280 for it. I bought it brand new out of the box from a pawn shop not too far from where I live. It's not the first gun I've ever bought, but it is my first handgun. Prior to that, I had only a .22 rifle and a 12 gauge pump shotgun. The .22 rifle was the first gun I ever bought. I really like it, even though I've only fired it once since I bought it. But anyway, I'd like to see a future video going more in depth into the Taurus G3C and I'd like to perhaps see some footage of y'all at the range doing some target practice. I just subscribed to your channel, so I'll be checking out more of your content.
@@BlackDiamondgunsandgear I really like my new Taurus G3C, even though I've only fired it once. I really like the grip on it. It's aggressive without being abrasive. It's aggressive enough to keep a good grip on the firearm while not being so aggressive that it's abrasive and downright rough. I really like the ergonomics of that handgun and I like the trigger design, too. My favorite thing about it is that it came with 3 12 round magazines. That's pretty generous of Taurus to do that for their customer base. Not many gun manufacturers provide more than one magazine for any of their pistols. Some, you'd be lucky to get two magazines included with the gun. So I'm really thankful for that. And $280 is not a bad price, in my opinion, for that particular handgun, especially since you get 3 magazines included with it. I really like it. I also have a nice kydex holster for my Taurus G3C, and I more recently bought a magazine loader for my gun magazines, and I just bought a magazine holster for me to keep extra magazines on me whenever I'm carrying.
Just moved to TN and was looking for a carry gun. Was looking at the hellcat and the 365 but stumbled acroas the g3c and well I went to my local rural king and picked it up yesterday. $279 plus tax
I have a G3C but only thing is hollowpoints tend to get stuck on the feed ramp sometimes. Seems like the round sits abit low causing the round to get stuck at the bottom of the feed ramp.
Bought my G2C in the good ol days for $215. Paid $256 for my G3C shortly after it's release around the first of August. I've seen them at the same LGS I got mine at recently for $265 and $309 respectively. Still not a bad price for what you get. I own a Sig P365 and Glock 26. The G3C is in my waistband just as much or more than those higher priced guns. Keep up the great work guys! Love your videos!!!
It was changed when they opened the Taurus USA manufacturing plant in Georgia in 2019. They are going to start marketing the brand to get away from their past reputation with better quality and innovative products. I forsee them eventually on par with Ruger and S&W.
Open carry is legal in North Carolina you don't have to take class to put a gun on your side concealed carries another thing though it requires a class and license or permit to conceal carry
I want a "cheap" 9mm and I looked at SCCY first, then Hi-point, Diamondback and Taurus, but SCCY was my first choice, but the more I studied, Taurus beat em out. My buddy has a G2c, but I couldn't get my hole hand around it, so I opted for the G3 instead. Saw it online for a good price, so I bought it, and now I'm just waiting for it to come in..
The G2C was a great pistol; worlds better than its predecessor. The G3C fixed my one complaint about the G2C, the sights. The ability to swap out sights with Glock aftermarket sights makes it a game changer. Easily my number one recommended budget pistol.
Thank you for the video gentlemen you are spot on because gun sales are way up here in KY and CCDW permits are way up also ! When I went to the Sheriff's department and picked up my permit there was a bunch of permits that mine had to be picked out of I was like wow !
My everyday carry is a PT111. I have all the G series and have you been twins to them. Hell I even have Tauruses did I bought that I haven't even shot yet they're brand-new sitting in the safes
What is the big objection with the thumb safety??? Can't you just not engage the thumb safety and be happy? Am I missing something? I like it especially if I'm carrying in church/public
Nice video fellas, I Gotta Admit, Taurus has knocked it out of the park with these Pistols, You may think I'm crazy but I like these better than Glock, They are extremely reliable, Taurus calls them melted edges, I have smallish hands but the grip is Perfect, the 15 & 17 rnd Magazines come with sleeves, I really enjoy the videos, Thanks, God Bless the Republic. 🇺🇸 Subbed.
Don't even need another firearm, have ssrveral new i havent shot yet (winter here in Mi), but still might go get this one, simply to have yet another option for CCarry.
I purchased my last g2c on black Friday 2019 for $163.00 I wasnt even looking for a pistol when I found it but for the price I couldnt say no. Great pistol, and the g3c is even better. I shoot the G series of Taurus pistols better than most of my handguns. Thanks Taurus for stepping up your game.
Just got a new G3C, cleaned it OTB before range time and first shots were terrible. Lots of hang ups and FTE. After the second cleaning and oil in the right places it shot perfectly no issues using 3 12 round Taurus mags. Just tight from the factory I suppose. OTD for $275.00 at Academy Sports. Also have a 605 poly wheel gun from Taurus and love it.
First time viewer and you guys are great. After extensive reading and investigation, decide on the Taurus G3C. Living in WA, U won’t be able to pick it up until 09/01/22. Thanks for the great informative video. Subscribing now.
I just got one of these. Looks like a nice smaller pistol, but the slide release button is very hard to press. I am happy to learn that the G3c can use G3 mags.
Excellent presentation guys. I dont know why some complain about the trigger on the g2c. I bought my g2c a couple years back for 225 out the door and have had absolutely no problem with it. I have yet to fire a g3c. We all should know that certain guns like certain kinds of ammo better than others. The only kind of ammo mine doesnt like is anything steel cased, with the worst being tulammo. not to knock tulammo as a whole because ive seen other weapons fire it fine. for now i'm fine with my g2c but when i can afford it i will get a full size g3. the g2c also accepts g3 mags
I bought my taurus g2c And my friends that are either Glock fan boys or. SIGgers all talked shit about it. They said it would jam on me. So I intentionally counted the rounds to see when it would fail. I now have 6750 rounds through it without a single malfunction And I've had a lot of much more expensive guns. But the Taurus, it's still my favorite. I just bought a new Barretta And when I went to the range. They only had steel case Amo The beretta jammed every third round. So not to waste the day. I decided to try it in my G3C that I was carrying. And the G3C ran flawless.😂 the g series Are not only good for the money? They're a great gun period. My friend just bought a glock 26. That can't get through a single mag without Jamming My other friend bought a Smith and Wesson. That he had to send back cuz it jammed like a Reggae band on 420.😂 but my taurus's keep running 🤷♂️
I own 2 Taurus's ! The G3C and the new GX4 ! I don't like the trigger creep of the 3C at all ! The firing pin engages only when the trigger darn near reaches the back of the trigger guard ! First time firing it I thought that a round wasn't in the chamber then it fired ! Crazy trigger dead area ! However Taurus improved the trigger immensely with the X4 ! Short and definite wall then bang ! Impressive little gun ! I teamed it up with the Veridian E series laser and wow I love it ! Accurate out to 20 yards , sighted in quickly and bangs plates and paper in 2 inch groups ! I'm an old guy now and use red dots to help get on target but this laser sight has been a game changer !
I just purchased one for my wife yesterday after watching several dozen reviews. It seems to check all the boxes for CC and for people with smaller hands.
I live in TN as well. Currently TN is trying to pass constitutional carry in the state allowing you to carry both open and concealed without requiring a handgun license.
@@BlackDiamondgunsandgear When it does pass I would suggest anyone in TN to still get a handgun carry license regardless for intrastate reciprocity for when you go out of state.
I bought a G2C have put 500+ rounds through it already. I love how compact it feels, it has those grooves on the handle and not all the way around like most do. The take down is pretty simple as well, the only problem I had was I didn't oil it when I first bought it so it had a feeding issue. After that not a single problem got it for $279.
I hated my Taurus Millennium PT145 so much I sold it.... I don’t sell firearms! I swore I would never spend my money on Taurus again.... I think I want a G3c...
I think the G2C name gave it a short catchy name where one letter automatically tells you the difference between G2C and G2S models. The trigger company you’re referring to is keeptinkering. They also just offer a trigger that gives you a little reduced travel but allows you to keep the refire option. I got that one. I, personally, like a safety. You don’t have to use it it it’s nice to have the option. Taurus makes a nice night sight for the G2C.
I was actually looking for a Taurus 605 (apparently a unicorn atm) when I ran across the G3C for $287. I already have a PT-111 G2 as my bedside gun that I love so I couldn't resist picking this up for my edc. 1 thing you guys didn't mention was the accuracy of these little 3" barrels. By far 1 of the most accurate guns in my arsenal and I have several 6" to 10" guns (yes I'm compensating). Taurus also got rid of that stupid slide lock with the G2C and G3C.
Visited CA and discovered that the Taurus semiautomatic handguns are not certified because of "drop firing"!!! Does anyone know if this is still a problem???
@@tonyturner5144 Hour north of Atlanta. Couple of our local dealers have pretty much refused to raise prices on guns during Covid. Their maintain that prices from the manufacturers and distributors hasn't really gone up since last year. What they buy the guns for, is largely the same as what they bought them for in 2019. So just adding $200 to the price like other dealers are doing, seems shady to them and so they don't want to gouge their customers that way... Pretty good attitude, if you ask me.
It should be noted that the G3C came out something like six months after the G3. Also, the uppers on them are interchangeable. so you could put the G3 slide onto the G3C lower, making the grip imprint small, and getting a 4 inch barrel that is seriously accurate on a quality carry piece.
@@BlackDiamondgunsandgear I'm hoping that they come out with a G3C Long Barrel. Basically doing just this. I love target shooting, but I'm not a big guy. Merging the two like that would be perfect to me.
I bought a g3c as my first carry gun... So far, I love it. I havent had any feed issues, but i like tinkering with stuff and upgrading my gear, so I will polish the ramp and chamber, and possibly upgrade the recoil spring and trigger
I have a lot of taurus firearms old model pt99 afs old model trooper 66 and several pt111g2 and g2c g3 is my next Taurus. Never have had a problem with any of them.
Got a G3 from a pawn shop used like new for $205.00 it's the one with the brown not FDE frame. I'm a Glock lover but had to give the G3 some praise for it's overall quality.
I just fired my brand new Taurus G3C. It jammed multiple times trying to run through 38 rounds. It jammed around 8 times. I didn’t clean the gun but I did oil it prior to firing it. It jammed so much I felt it was unsafe. Not that I’m afraid of a jamb. I was shooting 9mm Fiocchi training dynamics. 9mm Luger, 115 gr, 1200 FPS. Did I run the wrong ammo? At this point the gun is unreliable.
Those rounds are pretty pointy lol if that’s a word, on the end of the projectile. It may not have a great feed ramp for those. Although James Yeager runs those and I think he did a few videos on them check them out
Yeah I compared a round with Winchester and blazer ammo I got and the pointy bullet was the problem. 100 rounds of Winchester and 50 rounds of blazer and not a single jam. I ran of about 15 rounds of the Fiochhi I had left and got 3 jams. Good to know what not to shoot. Thanks for the help.
It's good hearing you found it was the ammo. I shot fiocchi in my g3c and worked great but my newer g3 jammed bad in 30 rounds. Other guns ran the 115 fiocchi find. But federal 115 had feed problems as did federal 124g. But the g3 liked blazer 124g. I'm hoping with some more blazer 124 things will work out. And I just got another g3c with laser for $345.
One simple thing - The G2C & G3C were designed/ created for 1 purpose Self Defense (not competition range shooting) or competition target practice! With a few stainless steel replacement parts from Lakeline LLC & polished feed ramps along with 8-10 Mec-Gar (18rd SIG P.226 magazines) loaded up with Federal HST 124gr - has proven to be a deadly Combination. A quality lazer or LED light is icing on the cake - replacing the plastic open sites is a smart idea - with possibly a set of steel tritium sites!
The newer G3's now come with the Glock compatible sights. I bought one last month and it has the same sights as the G3C. At the same time I bought a G3C, both guns at Rural King. I left the store with both guns for less money than a Glock 19. Awesome handguns at an awesome price point. Also, just so you know, there is now available a red dot mount plate that will fit to the rear sight dovetail cut.
Back at Christmas rural king had the g2 and g3 on a heck of sale ,, I recently picked up the g3 with the safety and I'm super impressed,, this Christmas I will try to be prepared and pick up several
I bought this gun due to the numerous amounts of good reviews/comments across many channels. I was hyped, got my G3C for 205,00 after rebate. Shot it today for the first time, only one magazine. Awful recoil. Just absurd. As if the gun wanted to jump out of my hand. I have Sigs, Glocks, S&W, HK as far as pistols. And those guns have great recoil, except the glocks, but they're okay. The G3C was bonkers, not at all comfortable firing with the gun feeling as if it hated being held, no matter how tightly, I didn't want to even finish one magazine. Two thumbs down. Never buying cheap brands again. I can't be the only one. EDIT: The gun feels great when I am holding it, just not firing it. The grip on the gun couldn't be a better fit, really, Again, why the recoil surprised me.
Hey my dudes, loving the video and honest discussion over this gun. I have a G3C. It’s been at least a year+ since I bought it and believe it or not I haven’t shot it once yet. I have shot my other firearms but not this one. I was turned off about this gun when the hollow point ammo wouldn’t feed properly into the chamber. I have to rack the slide all the way back and aggressively too. Right out of the box and it’s doing that, a huge no for me. I’m a poor budget gun owner, this was my best option at the time. Looking for remedies to this, I see there’s so many videos about this one issue. Not uncommon it seems. I’m sure the gun shoots just fine once it’s inside the chamber ready to go. I’m afraid it will jam trying to feed back into the chamber with another round. Even looked for other hollow point ammo that could be a better fit for this issue. There are some but the users said they had to polish the shit of the gun first. Anyways, I hope I can get some feedback and now that I have more money, I want to sell this gun for a more reliable concealed carry EDC.
I got my 1st handgun few months ago sd9ve used talon grip apex trigger and spring with a nice tan finish on in for 250 used of course. 300 rounds in no Problem.
Having owned a PT111 G2 for quite a while....one thing I would like to see is for Taurus to relieve the very sharp corners and edges on the ejection port.
There’s not such thing as a “budget gun”…….There are “overpriced guns” though….
Taurus is teaching us a lesson…

Got a g2c... Put it through hell and shot about 1700 rounds. And never had a malfunction still carry it every day

The BEST thing about the g2c and g3c is that with the double action feature, you can put a laser cartridge in it and dry practice without having to rack the slide every time you press the trigger. It sure improves your shot groups.
Absolutely we should have mentioned that
@@seth3000gt you are so wrong, the exercise is far from pointless.
Lol thanks man!
I own both the g3 and g3c,they're both excellent guns for the price and I got 2 guns for less than the price of a glock.
Glocks are overpriced and they are not even that better for the cost, Taurus offers more features for less than half the price
I just scooped up the g3c today for black Friday at $200! I love my g2c and have been eyeing up the g3c for about a year now. For $200, I couldn't pass.
Agree I wouldn’t have either
The word is "INEXPENSIVE!"
Right
I remember when Taurus first came out with the Millennium 9mm.
Well said.
You’re in luck because they make one with no manual safety now
@@rico300zx Thanks for that, but I'm not sure I need to buy another one.
Finger off the trigger and keeping the thumb safety pushed down while holstering should have it ready to go if needed.
But I AM curious, so does it have a new model number or something?
@@bryansimmons4550GX4 is the new model with no safety, it’s running about $300 on sale. I just bought the G3C from rual king for $230 tax out the door
@bryansimmons4550 Yes, Taurus has other similar models that come without a manual safety!! There is no reason to complain!!!
I know it’s two years later, but the first full size G3 came out with the plastic sights, but they soon fixed that issue and adopted the Glock metal sights. The new back sight is dovetailed instead of the same style as what the g2c has.
Yes
I bought one 2 weeks back i love it
A few months after this video was published, I looked at a G3c at one of our local Academy stores.
Yup
Just got my G3C today super excited
Woooooo🇺🇸
Still looking for "Ohhhhhhh Royal King" that cracked me up on your shooting video of the Taurus G3c. I would love to do a video or phone chat with you guys. You guys are great and thank you.
Lol thanks man
I bought my G3C on 12/18/20 and i'm currently waiting for my License to Carry to come in any day now. It's my first handgun and my second gun. I've had a shotgun for home defense for a couple of years. I'm really happy with the G3C so far. Definitely a great budget pistol.
Yes
been doing research for MONTHS on a first home defense that could flex into an edc not just for me, but for my petite, small-handed wife as well, at a blue-collar value…and after hearing about taurus from a family member, you boys just sold me on the G3c as a viable choice at a budget value. thank you for the content. like, subbed, notis on
Thanks man really appreciate that!
Hey buddy, did you get you a Taurus?
@@deamcn6548 i did decide on the G3 over the G3c. its ran just fine for me so far. put about 600 rounds through it without any failures yet. is it the most expensive and fancy toy?… no. but i do trust it to protect my family should i ever need it to. God forbid
thinking about trying out one of keep tinkering’s trigger upgrades for it as i do have big hands and dont love the feel of the trigger though it functions fine. just a bit of an adjustment
G3C for EDC and G3 for home defense
Heard the complaint that they all have the thumb safety. Taurus made a G3C that doesn't have a thumb safety. Model number g3csr9031
“You watching this and you are” FOR ALL MY CHEAP FOLKS,WE ARE HERE. Get mine Sunday.
Yea my groups are tight with the g3c as well
I own the G2C and G3. My wife owns a G2C too. Its a solid part of my collection. Taurus USA has done amazing with the G Series.
Agreed!
I own the G3, G3C and the wife has the G2C we love them.
@@kevingarner5795 same for my wife and me, just add a G2S for a "truck gun" and there you are.
Agreed
Thanks! And yeah we can do that
@@BlackDiamondgunsandgear I really like my new Taurus G3C, even though I've only fired it once.
In Tennessee no permit necessary for conceal carry as of I believe July 1 2021
I have a G3C but only thing is hollowpoints tend to get stuck on the feed ramp sometimes. Seems like the round sits abit low causing the round to get stuck at the bottom of the feed ramp.
Well according to the comments people have owned 2,000 Taurus pistols with 20,000 rds through them with ZERO malfunctions. 🙄🤷🏻♂️
🤘🏻 thanks man!
It was changed when they opened the Taurus USA manufacturing plant in Georgia in 2019. They are going to start marketing the brand to get away from their past reputation with better quality and innovative products. I forsee them eventually on par with Ruger and S&W.
Just bought yesterday for 330.00. Can’t wait to pick up and go to the range.
The Taurus G3C is the KIA Stinger of conceal carry guns. Affordable, reliable and damn.. it shoots good as hell.
They do have models of the G3 with metal sights now
Yes they do
Open carry is legal in North Carolina you don't have to take class to put a gun on your side concealed carries another thing though it requires a class and license or permit to conceal carry
Nice!
“C” stands for Compact, I own a G3C, Is it compact or subcompact? I open carry the G3C as my EDC
Sub-compact!!!
The G2C was a great pistol; worlds better than its predecessor. The G3C fixed my one complaint about the G2C, the sights. The ability to swap out sights with Glock aftermarket sights makes it a game changer. Easily my number one recommended budget pistol.
Agreed if you’re on a budget
Thank you for the video gentlemen you are spot on because gun sales are way up here in KY and CCDW permits are way up also ! When I went to the Sheriff's department and picked up my permit there was a bunch of permits that mine had to be picked out of I was like wow !
Hell yeah!
Taurus is introducing the G3 optics ready version which will give you 4 different plates for multiple different red dot sights. MRSP is about 400.
Yeah I saw that! That’s not bad at all!
They're called the g3 and g3c TORO,Taurus optic ready option
My everyday carry is a PT111. I have all the G series and have you been twins to them. Hell I even have Tauruses did I bought that I haven't even shot yet they're brand-new sitting in the safes
I use the restrike feature on my G3 when I dry fire using a laser bullet. Can practice firing multiple rounds without racking multiple times.
What is the big objection with the thumb safety??? Can't you just not engage the thumb safety and be happy? Am I missing something? I like it especially if I'm carrying in church/public
Why
I bought a used G3C with the Veridian laser for $229. I love it
Nice video fellas, I Gotta Admit, Taurus has knocked it out of the park with these Pistols, You may think I'm crazy but I like these better than Glock, They are extremely reliable, Taurus calls them melted edges, I have smallish hands but the grip is Perfect, the 15 & 17 rnd Magazines come with sleeves, I really enjoy the videos, Thanks, God Bless the Republic. 🇺🇸
Subbed.
I had a Taurus G2C I used as my carry, replaced it with a Glock 43X i recently bought. Both awesome guns. I wanted a G3C but can’t find em right now.
Same here. Small hands and the G2c fits like a glove.
Absolutely
Did the G2C come with 3 mags? At 249.99 with 3 my G3C was a fun impulse purchase.
@@hicknopunkolder post I know but having owned both of these, iirc the g2c comes with 2 mags, g3c with 3.
Something else is the g2/3 series will run sig p226 magazines. So mag compatibility through the roof.
By the way, I've been with U.S. Law for about 4 years
I own a p365 a shield ez and a Taurus g3c I carry the Taurus over the others picked up my g3 c new without a thumb safety
Cool
It's your life not mine 😂
I bought my taurus g2c And my friends that are either Glock fan boys or. SIGgers all talked shit about it. They said it would jam on me. So I intentionally counted the rounds to see when it would fail. I now have 6750 rounds through it without a single malfunction And I've had a lot of much more expensive guns.
But the Taurus, it's still my favorite. I just bought a new Barretta
And when I went to the range.
Hahahha That’s awesome man!
My Pt111 G2 is by far my favorite carry pistol and in my top 3 favorite range pistols.

Are you guys out of Oregon by chance. I seen the CRKT hat. Had to ask
lol no we usually just get free hats lol
Solid presentation, fellas.
Hahhaa thanks!
I have two cpx2 one red dot one with out

Wow!!!! That’s impressive
I just got mine for $279. Parked my glock at the house.
Lol
Glocks are way too much overpriced in my opinion.
Taurus offers the same quality with added features for less than half the price
I just purchased one for my wife yesterday after watching several dozen reviews. It seems to check all the boxes for CC and for people with smaller hands.
🤘🏻
I live in TN as well. Currently TN is trying to pass constitutional carry in the state allowing you to carry both open and concealed without requiring a handgun license.
Yes sir! It’ll pass lol
@@BlackDiamondgunsandgear When it does pass I would suggest anyone in TN to still get a handgun carry license regardless for intrastate reciprocity for when you go out of state.
A lot of G3C's have problems feeding hollow point ammo.
S&W SD40 VE but I plan on getting a 3c
My local dealer is still selling G2C's for $209 and G3C's for like $249... Covid hasn't driven their gun prices up hardly at all.
That's a great price. Where are you located?
@@tonyturner5144 Hour north of Atlanta. Couple of our local dealers have pretty much refused to raise prices on guns during Covid. Their maintain that prices from the manufacturers and distributors hasn't really gone up since last year. What they buy the guns for, is largely the same as what they bought them for in 2019. So just adding $200 to the price like other dealers are doing, seems shady to them and so they don't want to gouge their customers that way... Pretty good attitude, if you ask me.
@@Daves_Man_Cave Yeah that is a good attitude. Need more dealers like that. I'll have to find one like that in SC.
It should be noted that the G3C came out something like six months after the G3. Also, the uppers on them are interchangeable. so you could put the G3 slide onto the G3C lower, making the grip imprint small, and getting a 4 inch barrel that is seriously accurate on a quality carry piece.
That’s awesome! Never knew that about the uppers! Gonna try it
@@BlackDiamondgunsandgear I'm hoping that they come out with a G3C Long Barrel. Basically doing just this. I love target shooting, but I'm not a big guy. Merging the two like that would be perfect to me.

Got a G3 from a pawn shop used like new for $205.00 it's the one with the brown not FDE frame. I'm a Glock lover but had to give the G3 some praise for it's overall quality.
Agreed
I have pistols that cost more and I can tell you the G3c can compete with them.
Although James Yeager runs those and I think he did a few videos on them check them out
@@BlackDiamondgunsandgear yeah I think that’s a word. LOL. I’m gonna run some different ammo. I gave it a thorough cleaning as well.
And I just got another g3c with laser for $345.

just Gen 2 version
c for compact
Yes it is. But it being a next gen they corrected things that needed to be fixed from that
One simple thing - The G2C & G3C were designed/ created for 1 purpose Self Defense (not competition range shooting) or competition target practice!
Taurus fans love to hate on Glock while Glock is just Glock 😂
Besides that if you shot and killed someone in self defense they take your gun away anyway do I wanna lose over 600$ or just 200$?
I own more than one carry gun 😂
Great gun G3c for the money and reliability
I purchased a G2C two years ago for 179.99.
Nice!
Same I bought 2 of them. 1 for me 1 for the wife.
Blue collar man's version of Glock at a affordable price.... I'll take two.
It’s good I like them

Having owned a PT111 G2 for quite a while....one thing I would like to see is for Taurus to relieve the very sharp corners and edges on the ejection port.
