Too many times I flank and clean the cap and block ennemy spawn just to watch my team sitting at the edge of the cap towards our spawn, thus allowing the ennemy team to go back into the cap once I die. The average level is so low

False this is a war Sim. Strategy is key with proper roles of infantry and smart and defensive vehicle placement and cover fire. I snipe that is a defensive long range role for the support of the Frontline. I'll average 20 to 30 kills with 0-5 deaths. Many times I get teammates smoking my hide or giving my position away with erratic gunfire. Than say that I need to stop camping. This is not my role, ever see Any movie or actual real life snipers hiting the main offense. They are long range defensive support for infantry. As well as only some vehicles are capable of being effective in a defensive position while others are perfect for the carnage of front line offense. I've started to play as a one man squad because some people will just mess up strategy or strait up drive you to a instant death. These players complain. Because they suck at a war game That you have to use your brain in order to be good. This is not cod. I'll kill the same snipers 5 times in a row because they will not relocate. That is a fundamental rule for survival as a real sniper. Fire relocate and don't move with more than 1 teammate. People need think in order to be a high kill player. But they're to used to fortnight or cod run and gun and this game is not that in the slightest.

In BFV when you loaded a game mode for the first time, for example Conquest the game play small video tutorial with DEVS narration, and even in that video, the dev says that, kills also are a factor to bleed tickets from enemy team.

Largely, I agree with you. However, it's not just about making kills. I regularly play with my squad against other teams that get significantly more kills. The top 10 opponents all have a massive K/D, yet we very regularly win with far fewer kills. Just by playing well together, playing the objective. And yes also by making kills. It is a combination.
Kills = making space = taking space.
The average reddit player is the kind that will sit proning with a bipod on a point for 15minutes to shoot 3 guys.

It's only ever really fun to hold down a flag when it's near their spawn and you're basically just trolling them lol
Defensive play doesn't really work cause you still letting them control 2-3 other flags and all defenses will break lol I've won clutch matches where they held down for so long but eventually caved in custom lobbies where the points is usually doubled and last so much longer
Also no it is boring and actually makes the match play like a slog, this isn't Arma or Squad it's still an arcade shooter on big map with a novelty in map control and vehicles and destruction.
Those small maps are always the ones played alot cause they are fun to be one always lol, like the best map on BF1 is fucking Fort. I'm mostly a BF1 player than the other ones and the best maps are the small ones or the ones where they're basically a circle of sorts. The more miserable gameplay is when you're on say Sinai and have to be in the desert which is why I'm mostly sniping in the houses.
Like you literally can't say it's at it's best when boring lol when some of the best moments I had in BF1 was at Verdun, like you don't know how the feeling is at Verdun playing as French and actually fucking winning against a German onslaught on a super German-sided map as Verdun is lol
I think you just don't fully understand Battlefield and I doubt you even play like the way you're describing cause you go where you're needed and holding a place down for too long means you're not serving a purpose in taking new flags. the point is the flags ping pong especially on smaller maps(which honestly are better battlefield maps)

Nobody cares about how it used to be cause most people played when it became more mainstream and you're just being a gatekeeper. Battlefield is CoD on Big map not Squad or Arma 3. If that's what you like then play those games but Battlefield isn't really that and even BC2 still played like it has in BF3 and BF4 still. CoD also is faster and such cause it's designed with better tech than they had 10 years ago. And again you're acting like "playing operation metro is boring for so long" yet there literally exist 24/7 and it's usually the most populated servers lol those 24/7 small map servers.

When I look at COD players, there is always the same cheat accusations or "with meta weapons it's easy", "oh with aim assist everybody can do it" "ohh with a good pc with 120 fps"- it's easy. I don't know if it's the BF community, I think it's more the online gamer community in general. Even with coding education channels, there is always somebody how shits on it, the colors of the IDE, the formatting style, the language and so on, "try this with an C64 and basic, not so easy!!!"

@@iDeparture you got a point. If someone wanted to get better at 2042 I'd tell them to play a more difficult game for a few months, get wrecked every day, eventually get better at that game, then come back to 2042 and you'll be at the top of the scoreboard most games.
But these people couldn't stand to play something more challenging because it would involve going through a period of sucking at it, which is unbearable.

10:15 yea idk about this point enders. I have played battlefield since 3 and this is the worst BF graphically. The attention to detail is just not there even compared to a mid game like BF5, or an older title like BF3. Something about 2042 just feels like things are made out of plastic. Even though you are right, it doesn't really matter that much in the end. But it still would be nice if it compared to the battlefields before it.
I agree with you, that was the one point I couldn't agree with either. I'm certainly not an "immersive" gamer but Battlefield 5 feels better to me too because of the graphics and colors (apart from the poor visibility)

Honestly, I think the issue is that most of the Battlefield content now is just people abusing Mckay and going for a bunch of kills. It’s not that it’s a bad thing to get kills, I just feel like the community is tired of the game not being played as a team like other Battlefields. I’ve been in so many games where someone has 70+ kills and they not even close to the top of the leaderboards. That shows that kills aren’t the ONLY objective. Especially when you have players that learn spawns all day and just find a spot to kill players off their spawn. Yeah, you’ll get plenty of kills and still lose by like 500 tickets. I’ve had games where I get 15-20 kills but I’m the best on the team due to revives, resupply, and flag captures. Often, those lobbies will have a lot of players send me friend requests to play with them because it makes the game easier for everyone on the team and not just one guy going for 100 kills. When I focus on kills or have teammates that don’t bother with objectives we lose. It’s more about HOW you’re getting the kills other than the amount of kills itself. Are you sitting on a roof that Mckay can only reach? Are you camping with spawn beacons? Or are you moving tactically from point to point and picking enemies off as you go? That all matters to most other FPS players outside of COD where kills is all people really care about

You could say those people that were preoccupied could've attacked Enders or something but in my opinion those people were probably too preoccupied with the objective to even notice Enders being a menace.
No disrespect to Enders because not everyone can do what he does and it's not easy.
Him and Maxiq are probably the best players I have ever seen if I'm being honest.
But I feel like every player could get more kills if they tried to play the way he does.
But it's like someone has to cap objectives.
If no one caps anything the round could be over in 10 minutes and that's not fun, I want the round to end when the timer ends.
Plus it's harder to fight on objectives than it is to fight outside of it and around the way he's doing.
But someone has to be on the objective so the enemies could start spawning outside the cap zone rather than inside of the cap zone.
I mean capping objectives is almost a guaranteed death so I don't blame people for dying on the objective.
I would rather play for the team and die on the cap than run around harassing people with my movement.

Also the funny thing is the people who play COD even get annoyed when their teammates don't PTFO in a round of domination or hardpoint.
Playing a objective gamemode in COD is living proof that kills will never be enough to win a round.
There's been countless times where there is two people getting 80-100 kills on my team during an objective game mode, yet we got dominated in terms of points. 21-200 cause my team didn't cap anything.
When you said I have better kd in BF5 and BF1, I was literally shocked. I am currently playing BF5 and everytime I checked your stream recently you got very high KD.(i mean compared to any highest infantry kd guy in my games) This was just a personal anectode, but it just makes sense in a lot of ways.
-2042 is the last game, so everytime a new player to BF joins it mostly goes to 2042. Also just like they pointed out, It has crossplay. Also gamepass. Also ai. Basically lots of things that would increase your kd.
-The other 2, -or just any other old game in general- obivously has more experienced players ratio, also more clan stacks. also more hackers. Also less randomized games(server browser, community servers etc.) basically sh-t ton of things that would decrase your kd. Maybe all of this -except randomized part- didnt effect you that much since you quit the game with release of 2042 but i think it still important.

Can't say I agree with a lot of you said, I will say 2042 is not battfield, it's closer to cod. When they implemented things like auto heal and a soldier can take anything they need to survive alone it became less team based and your squad is there to be a spawn point.
Previous battfields felt like you actually needed a team because someone needed class specific traits to deal with certain things. There was a reason to stick together; bf4 had passive abilities you gained for the points you gained, bf5 allowed the leader to call in support to name a couple.
I can't agree with the graphics or ambient sounds being good, they're not bad but as you pointed out 15 year old games had better quality and animation too, in my opinion.
I'm not a content creator so I don't know what it's like to sweat to get kills and ignore everything else. I play to win and have fun and often like being a support element; I'm healing and throwing ammo and smoking the objective for my squad/team. And believe me I understand frustrating when you're trying to capture and objective and watching a transte camping 10 meters off the objective to farm kills. Just my 2 cents
I remember back during I think BF4 Levelcap had to do a similar video telling people that fighting around the objective and not ON it is more important than actually capturing it, since other people will end up doing it for you as long as you are keeping the obj clear for them. People are honestly clueless, but that comes as no surprise.

sup enders, I found out about you around the release of 2042. watching your content made me want to be better at the game, and just listening to what you are saying the tip and tricks videos and the game play alone made me improve on battlefield in general. it always baffles me why other people don't want to get better, and no I don't have alot of time either I have work 40+ hours a week. so I appreciate what you do enders.
I'm 63 years old and been playing BF since 2004. Not quick on the draw. But what I do is support others on my team. I PTFO after the killers clear it.. People need ammo, revives, and repairs. And the game is Basically dead and you get the hardcore players mixed with the Hackers, noobs, and average players. The game is in bad shape and it's not getting better, And why are there so many snipers now? It's so easy to sit and snipe. They are ones not capping or helping the team.
This is what casual players cannot see: they do not know how experienced players, who have accumulated years or even decades of experience, quickly adapt within 2042
Exactly. I can absolutely not relate with content creators who are below my skill level. Not even like the average, but easy difficulty on campaign mode skill level
whats crazy to me is that in every second match i play in 2042 in wich the team im on happens to be losing theres always someone crying about how 'trash' the team is. what is even better is that those players usally have a neutral kd

The only pain that comes to mind is again with Dice themselves, who failed to implement any sort of balance: I've see entire teams with negative K/D on the scoreboard. And regarding the esteemed BF community, once the steamrolling begins, tryhards leave and their slots get replaced with bots. At least that's my experience in Europe lobbies.
Personally I don't enjoy playing on the team that is steamrolling, nor the one getting steamrolled of course, with rounds of breakthrough or frontlines done in under 10 minutes, most top scorers 7-15 kills each. I found that balanced teams make for a far more enjoyable experience. On the same subject, I had evenings where I only got assigned on the attacking side 1 time out of maybe 12 rounds. Not to mention getting placed on the same 1-2 maps multiple times in a row.

Some anecdotal points made. It isn’t all about kills all the time though. A player can affect the game by doing something other than just killing (like reviving or spotting enemies for others). They’re therefore still helping the team as a whole get the objective which is the point of most matches. The score doesn’t matter argument is a bit short sighted.
When people try to discredit you, u just gotta to remind them their time when they encounter someone whos on the enemy team killing them over and over again so they couldnt even get out of their spawn let alone trying to capture any point. The fragger on the enemy team makes sure the enemies which are them CANT get to any point to EVEN capture them in the first place.
Thats one way to understand it. The fragger doesnt capture point directly but he is definitely indirectly contributing to capturing the point BY holding all enemies from pushing in.
The worst type of player in bf is the one who dont sit on capture thats created by fragger, or not ressing down teammates WHILE also not getting any kills. For example, little jimmy in the middle of nowhere sniping across the battlefield but couldn’t manage to hit anyone to even bring indirect contributions to the table.

Majority of battlefield players spawn, run into the meat grinder, die, skip revive, respawn. rinse repeat. Or they're 3/22 sniping 3 miles off point getting farmed by vehicles.
This is why tickets run out quick 😑 I have to speed up my gameplay cuz of these fools. I can't relax sometimes.
It's not just battlefield. this is really bad in other communities too. I play insurgency sandstorm domination and it is the exact same thing. I often don't capture flags, because once I have cleared the a flag the spawns swap and my team moves up. It's much more efficient if I move to a better spot to block the enemy team from taking other flags. Even further, taking flags does not win the game. It doesn't even give any objective points. Holding flags wins the game.

This might be the best video you've done. Great description of why you play the way you play and it makes perfect sense. Toxicity is in every community. People suck, and that's just a fact. As long as they can hide behind something they will be very brave with what they say. And I've been in the same boat where I feel like people complain about the wrong stuff. Game needs quality content (mainly maps), and more of it. That's really it. All the other crap they complain about is just that...crap. Crossplay between console and PC didn't help either with toxicity, but that will never change.
2042 is riddled with cheaters now. I'm sick of 1 shot kills, wall hack etc. I go back to bf3 and bf4 for some real fun a lot of the time.
it is insane how often you have to explain yourself. I don’t understand the problem people often have with good gameplay. I think that your last gameplay was very interesting and insightful, I took a lot often information out of it. Your movement, your evading tactics during shootouts, your thought process of taking room and so on. I found it very teaching and I thank your for that.
On the other hand i’m so glad that we never met, cause having an enemy like you in the other team would ruin my enjoyment for this round. Normal people don’t stand any chance playing against you, and that maybe is the cause for their anger. Which does not justify their behavior, nor should you be less of a great player, ist just how it is sometimes and we have to deal with it. Luckily there are not so many skilled people around, so this really is not a huge problem.

I think the problem is with it that it has become so arcadey that good gameplay essentially just boils down to jumping around and crouch spamming like you have ADD and lasering people because the guns are essentially water pistols when it comes to recoil.

Look. The core mechanics of Battlefield has historically been (since I started with Bad Company) TICKETS. Kills=subtracting tickets from the enemy. keeping them on their kill screen. Opens space for your team. Pretty easy to understand to me. IF I can't kill people another great way is take out vehicles. Another great way is spawn on the person doing the killing and give them ammo or heal them to keep the train rolling.
I saw the video as more of an indictment of Dice's poor map design and how its possible to exploit poor map design than anything else...
Suprised you didn’t mention the realism bros/redditards who have a HUGE fixation on turning BF into a milsim when there are Literally so many games that do that, even battlebit has that elements they want but for some reason want BF to be one. They have no boundaries either since they want to remove any fun or good design choices for the sake of realism .

Thanks for the video! I always learn something from watching your videos. There s always discussion regarding PC players having a huge advantage but I have not seen any data to prove that. It would be interesting if you would be willing to play on an Xbox or PS5 for a week or two and see how your stats compare to your PC play. Data often settled these debates.

Nothing new, even back in BF4 when somone posted a good infantry or vehicle gamplay there were always folks trying to discredit the ability with comments like: no one using stingers/iglas, or there aren't claymores, shotguns, explosive spam, this or that. Some people think if they cant do it then no one cad do it neither, they just look for excuse like the enemy team is bad or the TH-camr is just cheating.
Frontlines has no scores so waiting for a revive is a waste on either side. This also means k/d do not matter aside from, as you said, securing the point. Capturing the point can be done by lower K/D people, mostly support and also snipers. In the end you also stayed at the MCOM so you did play the objective when it mattered.
In Conquest your k/d can tip the scale even if the captures were balanced the whole game. Only in Breaktrough, on defense good k/d but not keeping the point, on offense good k/d but not reviving - can be detrimental. But YOU should definitely keep doing your flanks or holdouts.
Some days I'm too tired to play well, but still want to play to chill a bit. Fvck the K/D if I can pierce a defence after a couple of tries while both teams keep throwing random grenades from both sides of a corridor without any effectiveness.
Anyway, people should have fun and mind their on business.
And don't forget: for every Dozer you melee, your Mackay's grappling hook cable grows longer.
I can see both sides of the argument. PTFO/reviving etc vs doing what Enders did in his 46-0. It's very situational
I consider myself a mediocre player. I get a positive kd in the majority of my games but nothing crazy. I know there are players who will get more kills than me so I concentrate on handing out ammo/reviving/healing/capping flags etc so that the team works more efficiently.
The worst players are the ones who don't revive, don't give ammo, don't cap flags etc and STILL get a low number of kills. If you're not going to do any of those things AT LEAST get lots of kills and help the team in that way.
I was playing Battlefield 4 yesterday when I joined a random party and some guy began going on some rant about how players with my clan tag can't be trusted because some of us are hacking. I'm on Xbox.
Its a weird mentality that has been in part of the battlefield community for a while: if you're killing but not "helping" the team then you're not really helping. People forget there are roles that players can take even if those roles are not hard-enforced like in a hero shooter.
I've gotten crap myself many times in BF4 for "farming infantry instead of capturing points" with my tank, even tho I'm keeping infantry and armor at bay so my team can capture, and I'm getting more and more enemies to play engineer and focus on me, so there's less enemy revivies, etc. People expect me to park my tank on a flag and get blown up by 5 RPGs.
Same happens to you, you push up and clear infantry to make space around a flag, cut flanks, etc. So that the other guys can sit in the flag and capture. You're doing the right thing but because you're not prone in a corner waiting for the flag to be captured, they call you a bad player, etc.
I haven't played BF 2042 enough, but the little bit I have played, most players really do suck and only play as if it's 1:1. No one caps, pushed forwards, etc! Also, people don't know strategy and don't like facts! Keep doing you bro! Love the vids! In the words of Katt Williams, haters gonna hate! My friend don’t pay attention to those people you keep it up with your play style I play the same as you I’m always top 3 in the scoreboard sometimes with 0 flags captured (I’m a conquest player) there’s always gonna be haters you have to live with that you pay for the game you play it how you want to! And about crossplay I love it in battlefield and I’m a Xbox player i love to go against pc players they make you better! Keep it up man and ignore negative comments

Somethings happened to BF2042, practically unplayable Friday night. So many one shot deaths. Even our best player whi typically gets 30+ kills in a game was only getting mid teens and said something was wrong. Somebody sent a message saying they were fed up with cheaters and left. I'm not sure how anyone can cheat. We are all xboxers and had cross play turned off. We're going to try BF4 next week and hope there's still some decent active servers left :(

In your beast game did you win? If so, that's all that matters. I'm a .80 k/d (and don't care) and I win 4 out of 5 games consistently. I'm reviving/resupplying etc etc etc. Right now messing learning to how recon. Sometimes you just wanna chill and play.
You chose the role to shoot mofos, I toss smokes and revive/resupply. Like the Rock said, know your role.
A bad player will always find any other reason other than themselves to convince themselves they're not bad.
I watched the video & since its mentioned 2nd time ill say I did noticed that this 46:0 was in a server where the rest of the players had around 10 kills & some even negative K/Ds but I didnt leave any coment exactly because I didnt wanna trash on or discredit the video. I myself leave the server when start dominating everybody (not enjoyable), thats why my stats are trash but who cares about stats (except kids I mean). I also agree with the video.

Having Enders capture points is like having your F1 driver changing the wheels and tyres on the F1 car. Sure he can do it but probably better to have him drive the car and let the other team mates change tyres fill the fuel etc. Anybody who watches Enders play and thinks he should be capping points instead are daft.

Good video, battlefield has so many players that have no idea what’s going and that goes for any game. I believe bf brings in the super casual that likes to immerse themselves in a game, and well bf is super immersive (disclude 2042). A lot of them don’t care about the win or the meta or to get gud😂 I have respect for not caring about shit. I believe it’s envy and jealously that is going on with the accusations, and it’s amplified because it’s online. The people who do achieve high skill absolutely shreds and the crop wails

The fact that it's not common knowledge that stats are only as meaningful as your priority on the battlefield. Saying KD is meaningless across the board as if Killing isn't the ASSAULTS main job. If im a medic i expect more revives reflected in turn but that never means going 4-19 with 20 revives makes you a good player? They really come with that one size fits all crap to make themselves feel better. As soon as you're good the ole reliable "sweat" comes out. Battlefield players need a reality check even the "best" players you see can be considered small fish in a pond. i have had 100+ kills in a game multiple times and i still know full well im not THAT good.
I see it all the time when I tank. I can't sit on a flag to cap due to lis and rockets but I take the blame. Yet I prevented enemy vehicles from attacking and pushing forward. People want it all but the specialists made the community thinking clearer, that you must go negative to help your team
Enders, any thoughts into doing an intake of gameplay from fans (or non-fans if they aren’t cowards) and critique them. Maybe have a secondary channel or have it as a once a week kind of thing.

Also I saw the video, I left a like because it was an awesome and entertaining vid man, remember the majority of your fans are just gonna like and go about their day. I just think that many believe you need to work as a team , which is not exactly correct , but i do see the point they are trying to make as just killing and not multitasking only gets you kills for points and not kills and revives for extra points .

I have not always shared your views on bf but I can admit your one of the best if not the the best BF player I’ve seen. And a very good and entertaining TH-camr. However I think bad fps players don’t stay very long on a bf game. BF is hard and chaotic. Players don’t like having 3-17 kd and have the feeling of spawning and diying non stop. They prefer running on an empty and safer map in a bR. Even if they loose. They havent died repeatedly. Thus why bf ain’t as popular imo Dying to random things like tanks and snipers infuriates people.
So when is this new channel going to start up? Have a name for it? Gentleman Enders? Lol

100% spot on. BF3 and BF4 had some really good players but this is where DICE started caring more about the stupid sandbox instead of rock paper scissors balance they had in earlier titles. From my experience, the last time the community’s casuals genuinely understood on how to play the game was Bad Company 2. Very intense battles and teamplay actions were more common and not at the detriment of others. I lose my mind playing BF1 due to the idiocy and general lack of awareness of the players.
O bro, When it comes to FPS games specially Battlefield i would say: You are the best /aggressive player I've ever seen, leave those kids/haters aside and keep going.

A lot of these issues would solve themselves by just making a normal, real battlefield game instead of the garbage we’ve had the last 3 titles. Also put a real server browser back into the game.
They tried making games for everyone and ended up making games for no one instead which is why the player count and retention sucks. It’s not good enough to retain existing BF players, and it’s not twitchy enough to retain the COD audience long term. Churn means a lot of people don’t really ever get good at the game.
Just make a good Battlefield game with good mechanical depth, shitcan the specialists and let COD be COD and BF be BF.

I think the fact that your videos are providing constructive criticism is different from all those yay'sayers on TH-cam and adds to their frustration. @Enders - Battlefield gameplay has changed to promote your style of gameplay. Back in the day, Battlefield promoted team and squad play. If you tried to lone wolf it, then you got owned by players who squad played. And the team that was made up of supportive squads won games. I really miss that style of Battlefield. That gameplay style made BF unique. All other games promoted lone wolf game play.

I get you buddy. I post screenshots of me going 100-0 in tanks as well, and would expect applause from fellow gamers acknowledging I absolutely dominate and are the best player in the server/region. But instead they say i camp and need my buddy to repair me all the time to stay alive. Like.... I play exactly how the game was intended right? I agree with your first point about the value of kills. The idea that PTFO is this cultural element that makes Battlefield unique compared to CoD is widely overstated. The average Battlefield and CoD player are not that different in their priorities -> kills give dopamine, therefore we go for kills. If the reddit community want to see real PTFO, there's Squad on PC. That's a game where teamwork is necessary. And even there, kills are important for the very basic fact that a dead player cannot capture a flag.
On your second point, I think you're looking at the "shallow" aspects of FPSs (graphics, audio, immersion) from the perspective of a 1% player. Keep in mind that many players (especially those who criticise you for not ptfo-ing or whatever) are less likely to be hooked on the shooting mechanics alone. That is why Battlefield 1 is remembered fondly, despite having explosive spam and gunplay more suited to people with bad aim.
Yes, Battlefield 2042 is graphically a looker but I don't fondly remember much from the maps, weapons, vehicles, or the particular cringy operators. I liked how wacky the helmets of the Support class was in Battlefield 1. I loved the look of Paschaendele, Amiens, Monte Grappa (even if that one stunk as a map). Battlefield 2042 is boring. Or I could use the shallow word "soulless".
Casual players are drawn in by pretty things first and foremost. Whether they stick with the game for its gameplay mechanics for more than 100 hours, that matters less. The "makeup" a game puts on acts as a hook.
Getting kills is insurance against your team needing to revive each other in the future.
Capping objectives and getting kills are the only way to run down tickets. Reviving takes time away from that task.

A dead enemy can't kill your teammates. Preventing teammate deaths is more optimal than reviving.

Don't listen to the haters. I get called a hacker frequently with a 2.58 KD people in this game are just VERY bad, older battlefields had more skilled players. There is no teamplay left in 2042, people play their own game.
You are an amazing player and i often watch your videoes and multiple times becayse i remember some tips and have to go back and find them again.
+ The setups for weapons are golden, im a casual player that is always top 3 but i dont have the time to test attachments
