Best part of levolution in bf4 was how drastically it would change the flow of certain sections of a map for so little to cause the change. Most it usually takes is one player with c4 or a rocket launcher and a support.
And quite a few of them were strategic. Flood Zone changed the vehicle game. Others changed the ways whole control point were set up. Or take down a well fortified area where a lot of people would have otherwise camped, like in Locker. Though some of them were VERY situational.

I'm new to the franchise, and what surprised me was that in Battlefield 2042, I could stick to a wall and feel safe. However, when I started playing Battlefield 3 maps, I realized that I couldn't find cover easily.
The first time i heard of battlefield was when i watched the RKO helicopter clip. I had been playing FPS shooters pretty much all my life by that point. These games should have been more popular than cod was
Yeah destruction was a cool feature that all the leaks for 2042 said they'd get really extreme with things like all buildings being destructible, and completely unrealistic expectations of how the game would pan out. I really think the fans and the developers ruined themselves with 2042. I couldn't blindly support that the way other people did.
I remember when people were speculating that all the massive skyscrapers would be destructible. That was definitely too far fetched to believe but I did think there’d be more than what we got
We all believed that in 2023 video games would be so awesome we couldn't even imagine back in 2014 what it would be like and then we got Battlefield 2042.
When I first heard that the Battlefield games had destructible environments (Usually used as a reason why Battlefield is better than CoD), I was in awe. "Wait, that's possible in a video game?" And then I proceeded to never try a single Battlefield game.
Im still a fan of 2042 but you can never go wrong with watching giant shit get destroyed. I specifically remember bf3, chilling and watching levolutions with the enemy just because it looked cool.
I think one of the reasons bf3 still looks really realistic, arguably better then some modern games, is the fact it looks more like your looking at cd footage instead of through someone’s eye. The filters help mask the rough edges. It’s the same reason why games like Unrecord look so damn good. There not trying to look like how your eyes see things. There mimicking how *Real* footage looks.
The detail of the windmill debree being flown is cool I think it'd be cool to see some buildings only partially cave in like at 6:30, like the boat one barely touches the building and it nearly only collapses on one floor, but the rest caves a second later.
Such impressive destruction, it's amazing that we had games do stuff like this long time ago. Just imagine what future games would have if they had such destruction stuff like that.
Thank you for the hard work! I really needed this video. Btw, I think Spearhead's factory missile easter egg could also be included in levolution event. like ship explosion in Battlefield 4

Levolution in 2021: Sign falls off of skyscraper, side of boat falls off.
The rocket exploding is the only one I really like from 2042, apart from the fuel tanks exploding in breakaway
It's so frustrating seeing containers being dropped I bf hard-line but not in manifest in bf2042 they really fucked up
23:24 Ya know the Ammo Bunkers on this map also blow up really good...
I'm new to the franchise, and what surprised me was that in Battlefield 2042, I could stick to a wall and feel safe. However, when I started playing Battlefield 3 maps, I realized that I couldn't find cover easily.
Damn must've taken a while to make this 😬 Thanks, great to be reminded that they used to put some passion into this series
@@Chazsaurus You'd think given how it was visibly all hands on deck.
Does 2042 still utilize the Frostbite Engine?
Always loved the levolution on sunai desert for Bf1 as it stopped all the snipers going up there and camping, my favourite for nostalgia reasons.
0:31 i can't escape the pipes 🤯
regarding BF4. Its so sad i wont get to play on 98% of those maps, because no server runs them - even though they look so cool
*BF3* - giant antenna tower collapse _(epic BF3 theme plays)_ 🤩
*BF4* - a literal Skyscraper Collapse _(epic BF4 theme plays)_ 🤯
*BF2042* - smoll billboard fall on ground _(crappy flute BF theme plays)_ ( ._.)
Consider it done
Let me just get home from Paris first
Bro did u see the video? Personally the rocket explosion is one of the best levolution
I made the video
I replied to john doe 😅
*shoots water tank, legs starts breaking
somethings not adding up here 🤔
Didn't actually notice how destructible everything in battlefield 5 was.
The entire bf 1 could become an empty wastekand like st Quentin scar on operations
We all believed that in 2023 video games would be so awesome we couldn't even imagine back in 2014 what it would be like and then we got Battlefield 2042.
I see the description, and i gotta say you've done a great job
Funny how the part of the structure to break apart is never the one that you shoot at.
man killing enemy by debris in seine crossing was super fun. you should include it
When I first heard that the Battlefield games had destructible environments (Usually used as a reason why Battlefield is better than CoD), I was in awe.
"Wait, that's possible in a video game?"
And then I proceeded to never try a single Battlefield game.
21:25 you missed the final explosion on the dreadnought
Im still a fan of 2042 but you can never go wrong with watching giant shit get destroyed. I specifically remember bf3, chilling and watching levolutions with the enemy just because it looked cool.
Bro the second one 💀 metal pipe be bussin
I think one of the reasons bf3 still looks really realistic, arguably better then some modern games, is the fact it looks more like your looking at cd footage instead of through someone’s eye. The filters help mask the rough edges. It’s the same reason why games like Unrecord look so damn good. There not trying to look like how your eyes see things. There mimicking how *Real* footage looks.
Most games have indestructible structures, but this this is the finest one yet. Impressive
Bro what which games 😂
@@newt4949the majority
@@AhmedEx1. Except bf2042
First clip:
Water tower: gets shot in neck by rocket
Also water tower: knees give out 💀
22:03 fun fact: you can also destroy the bridge by driving the char tank on top on it
Didn’t know! Do you have a video of it?
no, I’ve driven over it and it didn’t do anything
The soldier watches as he destroys everything in sight:
👁️ 👄 👁️
2:56 one of my favorite parts
That's like straight out of golden eye
The detail of the windmill debree being flown is cool
I think it'd be cool to see some buildings only partially cave in like at 6:30, like the boat one barely touches the building and it nearly only collapses on one floor, but the rest caves a second later.
The metal pipe sound in 18:39
Such impressive destruction, it's amazing that we had games do stuff like this long time ago.
Just imagine what future games would have if they had such destruction stuff like that.
Paracel of Storm Levolution was another level…🔥
BF1 was so good, the ammunition depots going off while the ship sinks slowly was always so haunting
Now who’s gonna join me in raiding there headquarters so they add levolution into the next BF game?
that bf1 blimp explosion... man i loved that game so much. so cinematic.
Thank you for the hard work! I really needed this video.
Btw, I think Spearhead's factory missile easter egg could also be included in levolution event. like ship explosion in Battlefield 4
They took the spearhead missile out before I could get it on video I really wanted to put it in though
@@gamingwithbauer1959 you can still do it, i did it today in a solo match
Oh
Ok then
@@gamingwithbauer1959you can setup a Portal server and lock it to yourself to find these easter eggs and levolutions. If you need a code, CadWoman has plenty of them on her videos
Ah those 1 rpg hit wooden bridges, so many memories
I do appreciate that 2042 has somewhat returned to the old school levolution that Battlefield was known for. I enjoyed BF1 and BFV but it felt like it was constantly missing something as a result of levolution being next to non-existent
Less big buildings were used in ww1 ww2
Becuase there years take place in the 1910s and 1940s and big skyscrapers where primitive at that time
I wonder if maybe, just maybe, if we push hard enough, maybe we could force Dice to make a levolution update
It feels like the levolutions have been great even though you can see some assets being removed and then seeing stuff destroyed I think that is taking away the beautiful destruction of stuffing being destroyed
Also my favorite who be the crane falling from hardline cuz you can make such a cool and badass clip of trying to jump on a helicopter while the crane is falling but my one complaint bout the crane is well the ladder like at least make a tall building to where we can get on it easily
