Fun video. Amazing to see you and your Cherokee Trailhawk take on those challenges like a champ. Should be driving my 2020 Wrangler Rubicon in a month or so. Will accept whatever CarMax offers for my *stock* 2019 Cherokee Trailhawk, then. Planning to keep my Rubicon mostly stock, maybe add a few additional lights. Anyway, looking forward to Part II of your latest adventures.
Sorry it took me soo long. Kept looking at all the footage from all the things i've done lately and just got overwhelmed with where to start...i have new motivation to get caught up soon!

I have a 2017 and I want to make a trip to Moab in the coming year. Those are some pretty big tires you have on yours! I thought that first guy was you going over the big step! I was like, WHAT! Turned out the be a Wrangler on BMF's. You gave it a shot though! Good stuff!
I'll usually give everything a shot. I think i coulda had it if the back tires were in sand, you can see them start to dig a hole, and my brother is not a good spotter, so maybe better line could have helped too.
Thats the trouble....i can't. The one i was wanting to get, ExpeditionOne, decided last month to no longer do ANY KL stuff. Which includes redesigning their gen 1 KL bumper for the new front end of the gen 2s. There are a couple other options that fit the 19's...however imho they look like poo. I also want a good metal bumper because deer are a huge issue around where i live. I have fab'ed some steel braces and plates that are behind the current bumper, so right now when i run up on something it only tears the plastic up, then rubs on the strategically places plates and not the subframe of the bumper.
Car camping isn't the most comfortable in the cherokee, but it is doable. I usially only do a couple nights in the Jeep at a time before i need an actual bed. Its not tall enough inside to actually sit up. As far as trails, there is a fair bit a stock TH can do out there, more if you aren't afraid to scratch the plastic a little. Try to go with someone more experienced on the trails is my primary advice.
@@FearlessTrailhawk Awesome, thanks for the quick reply! I just figured I’d try and get what badges I could since I don’t know when I’d be back down here. Oh and for camping, won’t be in the TH. I have a little GeoPro I’m bringing down. Thanks for the great content!
Do you you think a little more lift like mfc 3” would make things better or worse for this rig? Sometimes More is less so I’m curious where the sweet spot is on these. Thx
Sweet spot is about 2.5". After that it just causes more issues than it solves. Lots of info out there on sone forums and facebook pages devoted to the KL
Ramon 1974 That’s cool man! Crazy stuff! Pretty interested to see how you trimmed your trailhawk to fit those 32”! Or at least the process cause i would like to do it to mine! I just did White Rim trail Murphy’s Hog back and Hard scrabble no problem! But would of been better on 32”s
Considering i had to trim different amounts from different locations for each tire....its sorta a trim/grind as you need to in order to make them fit. Covered a little bit of the trimming in my spare tire video. (did a quick walk-around at the end) Used a knife for the plastic, and a grinder for the pinch seem.
So glad to see you out there being a good representative of what the trailhawk really can do. I love going out on trails and keeping up with wranglers and older cherokees. They get pissed off and it makes my day
My favorite part of the day is if we run across side by sides ect and you can hear their amazement at tge fact we just cane through a trail that beforehand they could not even conceive our THs even attempting...let alone making it through!
I ran up on what looked like the lowest section, got hung on my bumper and started digging the rears in the sand, said "nope", then backed out to take the bypass...all shown...? I may have been able to make it if i'd tried some different approaches, but i didn't want to spend too much time trying as we still had 9 miles of trail to do...
-Dobinsons KL Trailhawk suspension lift, paired with partial Hazard Sky lift spacers to achieve 2" lift -32" Milestar Patagonia MTs (265/70/17) (had to trim front fenders and pinch welds)
Not yet. Haven't had any work around those areas done since the mod. I suspect any denial will come from hem-haw'ing about the lift more than anything else.
100% agree that not listening to your spotter can result in damage. But a bad spotter that is listened to can also result in damage. That was literally the first obstacle he had ever witnessed in person, and the first time he'd ever attempted to be a 'spotter'. This is even the first actual "offroad trail" he'd ever even been on. He also happens to be my brother. He is not a good spotter. I followed where he told me to go since i could no longer see the face of the ledge to see i was too far passenger to where i needed to be. He told me where he thought my tire should go, when i needed to mount that small lip with my passenger tire, just to the inside of where he was, but he didn't know that. I had also recently added some steel reinforcement under that section of the bumper, so my only real concern was the bottom lip getting caught and pulling the bumper-cover off. He was actually giving some pretty bad spotting advice all day, and i even told the other drivers to be careful as he didn't really know what he's doing. He's my brother and i love him, but he has very little experience offroad.
Not much to the install, just clamp on the back edge of the hood. The wiring was run the same as in the light bar video. (just didn't have to have go as far to attach the wires to everything)
Also.... Excellent video. Have a RAM 1500
No lockers. Just trying to get a grasp on capabilities... Thx. Again great vid.

Fearless excellente video shots good job man thank you for sharing yours videos...
Thanks man! Just wait till part 2!
Was super stoked for this video. Thanks for sharing it. Appreciate all the great videos. Keep em coming

Nice! You truly ARE fearless!
Thats what happens when you follow more built rigs who are trying to find the harder lines they...
This is why I love our RZR 1000 turbo. Can do this whole thing at like 60mph. That makes it a whole different ball game of excitement
Neat
Love the look of your Cherokee, 😍what size tires and suspension do you have

Your videos inspired me to get a trailhawk! I live in Chicago, but we should hit the trails in Ohio soon!
Thank you sir! Glad to have been a part of your decision! Its a long drive from Chicago to the legal trails in Ohio!

You should invest in a nice steel bumper for your TrailHawk. Other than that, looks like you were having hella fun!

Fearless Trailhawk is that why the front end held up so well to that obstacle in the video?
More or less
I plan on camping in Moab this summer so looking for trails. Do you think this is doable in a stock ‘21 TH?

nice to meet you. from Japan. I own it, but please tell me the size of the tires and wheels. Is the vehicle height lifted up?
32" and yes it is lifted. All my modifications are listed in the description of each video as they were at the time.

Hello. Thank you for your prompt reply 😊
It will be animated and referenced. Can be animated.
Great videos! I was just wondering.. Are the mods listed in the description box the modifications to your Trailhawk?? Trail on brother!
Yes sir they are. What is listed is what was on it at the time of the video. I'm glad you enjoy the vids!

Did any portions of the duration of the content of this video have you using your rock rails?
There were maybe a couple times i touched them, but no sliding on them for this trail.
Nicely done! No Prob-llama! :D
Thanks for the vids! What'd you end up doing for the step at the 3min mark? I was like, oooh! this will be fun to watch...then you cut scene.

4:55 everybody to the limit!
I've just been waiting for someone to notice that!
Couple quick questions.
What lift do you have?
And what type and size of tires are you running?
-Dobinsons KL Trailhawk suspension lift, paired with partial Hazard Sky lift spacers to achieve 2" lift
-32" Milestar Patagonia MTs (265/70/17) (had to trim front fenders and pinch welds)
Did doing the trimming effect the warranty in any way?
Not yet. Haven't had any work around those areas done since the mod. I suspect any denial will come from hem-haw'ing about the lift more than anything else.
Probably. Now did you gain more room with your lift than with the standard 2" lift that's factory approved?
Mine is still stock which is why I am inquiring. Had it in some pretty extreme situations and does quite well. Just want a little more clearance.
Thanks for making this. After watching this, I’ve decided not to take my Fearful Trailhawk through Fins.
No worries man, its not everyones cup of tea for sure!
Newbie but does your Jeep have lockers? Are they being used? Thx
Yes mechanical rear locker, and i use it occasionally. Thats what sets the "trailhawk" trim apart from the other trims for the new Cherokee.
Do you think i could do this in a stock trailhawk?
You have to pick your lines good, and you'll probly rub the front, back, and middle in a couple places, but it has been done by stock KLs before.
We do Fins N Things every year

2:58 Thats how you damage a car going off road. Not listening to the spotter
100% agree that not listening to your spotter can result in damage. But a bad spotter that is listened to can also result in damage.

Is the trailhawk lifted?
All Stock. I think. Oh wait...*glances at video description...nevermind...
I love your videos I have the sam car too
Thats cool! Glad you enjoy them!
Is there a video of you installing the hood leds
Not much to the install, just clamp on the back edge of the hood. The wiring was run the same as in the light bar video. (just didn't have to have go as far to attach the wires to everything)
Thanks man your really kind for the replies you’ve helped a lot your jeep is a beast
