I finally bought the sip road ignition. I thoughts are.. the vibration of the lighter flywheel. 😮 it's harsh!!!! Old flywheel 2900g this one 1600g. Next problem is when I put my indicator on its rave party with flickering. But when I rev it now it sounds like f1 car with 1 piston 😂😂😂😂. I can feel slight increase power. Lights on idle about same as original but I can see my lights are slightly improved. I have 22w philips ultinon essential led and taillight led straps I planted that's like 3w inc brake light. My indicators 21w normal old globes. I might have to change that. It was flickering before on headlight but now it's rave party. Have to fine tune everything and solder everything up bit not sure what I am going to do with vibrations 😢. Old guy who worked on cars told me once heavy flywheel = more mass = less vibrations = better uphill. Light flywheel = less mass = more vibrations = harder to maintain pull up hill but more acceleration from robot to robot. This so true. I have to fine tune this setup. My old style grrr grr hooter 🔊 sounds like it getting to much power 🤣🤣🤣 normally when I push hooter the light go dim. Not anymore.
Great Video as usual 👌 I have a bgm 187cc and sip road 3, I have been told by most that I need the DC Static but do you recommend the Variable? PM tuning did say the Static is basically just an expensive fly wheel, thank you
pm tuning, tells a lot, when the day is long. also heared other funny, technical wrong statements. 🤦♂️ very sad. but i know get some typical approaches in the uk i see here and there. na, thats very wrong. its a very good stator. sport ignition timing curve is bad for the road. vape road is perfect for the street.
I have a SIP / VAPE sport kit on my nearly stock V50R. The kit had the same small electrical connectors and missing longhole in CDI bracket. Bought the kit 1 year ago and used it al summer without any problems. Why do everbody recommend variable CDI for race bikes only? I think it works awsome on my slow and weak moped as well
thinking vs proof. My recommendation is not thinking but based on a real test. video coming up soon: static 17 vs variable 23°,sip vape, m244, 50-100kmh, 3rd gear, variable 1,5s slower than static AND engine feels way weaker, it steals a lot of characteristic of the new sip road 3. lets say at least THIS curve is absolutely not for the road.
Great video! And of course, it’s not intelligent pay extra for the brand 🙄 do you know if that Vape SIP kit would fit for a LML NV 4 stroke 150cc 2013?
Hello i bought a sip vape dc but i don't know how to hook it up on my px with battery and starter Can you help me with the assembly knowing that I won't have a starter motor? thanks Ricardo
Great video, could you please show the regulator side of the vespa, how you connected it. I'm having trouble connecting my Sip ignition on my 2005 PX150. I bought the DC version and I get low watts, the light is now weaker then before with stock stator. Also the battery is not getting charged.
me too, I've same experience, SIP regulator did not have wire/pin connect to the Headlamp and the output voltage only 12V , product description said it can produce 13.8V
Thx! sip VAPE is vape.cz, checkout their page, offering ignitions for a wide range of bikes for 20 years or so, so they do know what they are doing. They are ignition professionists = sip vape very forst choice vespatronic, parmakit, pinasco, polini, malossi, evergreen, vmc etc all the same china/taiwan ignition, where u can find the stator online for 15.- any more questions? ;) Absolutely sip vape. Not really comparable with the other cheap 4 coil ignitions, its a dofferent league.
i dont understand, which effect are you expecting? a) more WATT b) lighter flywheel effect, thats it. the exact setup doesnt matter, its the same with every engine.
looks alot like a modern scooter stator like yamaha aerox or gilera runner. maybe it is based on those design. how does it compare with vespatronic? mine is shitty especially on low rpm. very low output voltage on low rpm and the weight is too light for my preference.
no. and omg why would you do that? Vape is a ignition proffessional for 30years, bgm is just a part dealer, branding everything possible to make max profit. I recommend buying real products, from. The new SIP Vape comes with the regulator. Is it necessary to install the regulator that are provided in the set?
yes

thanks👍

Px 150e with sip vape ignition ( flywheel, stator, cdi)
They should do a CDI like kheper for the race version
do they have an electric starter version for the flywheel/magneto? if not, do you have recommendation for alternative flywheels/magneto
dont think so. havent seen one yet
@@FreakMoPed8 also I am curious, does the flywheel suck air into the engine?
Is this ignition set is also applicable for sprint veloce? Thanks
you need to surf if they offer it for small sprint crank stumps,

Read infotext of the video 😉
all these ignitions are the same but different labeled. yes, really crappy watt at low rev, kindof a big step back to the 60ies to 6 volt candles 😂👍
This ignition sip also can fix with vespa super?i worry the shaft of super cannot fix with them
you need to see if sip offers a version for the small crank stump
have a parmkit on my px polini 177 with porting and rebore....do I set the stator at the 125 marks or 200 ...thanks real need the advice
no marks at all. You need to set ignition timing in detail. marls are always wrong. Its 17-18 degree. No matter if 177, 210 or 244

if I use a standard engine but replace the sip ignition, does it affect the wasteful or not the gasoline?
You mean leas fuel consumotion? no. Better do a small otuning light, that could show some fuel effect
Where can I buy this
Sip scootershop
Good
at 6.26 for variable it's this position ?
Depends on the crankshaft groove
Can that stator fit in Bajaj cheetak scooter
Which one. Left or. Right. It depends on the crankshaft stump and flywheel
