I used to work at a Starbucks inside a grocery store. All the seasonal drinks are more than the unflavored drinks and the regular flavored drinks are in between the two. Joe's absolutely right.
Yes, but their coffee is terrible, I head for local coffee shops. I tried Greggs coffee when I was on another phone network, one free every week if I'd wanted, but didn't try it again, just brown hot water. When I want a cheap coffee I just start the three app and get one for £1 from Café Nero.
im not a huge Pumpkin Spice fan and i dont know many people that use it on pumpkin pie or soup........ but it seems to used on everything other than pumpkin....
Starbucks changed their recipe a few years ago, and not for the better. There were complaints about the fact that there was no pumpkin in the Pumpkin Spice Latte (hello, it's Pumpkin SPICE Latte, not Pumpkin PUREE Latte!), so they added pumpkin puree (with a bunch of chemicals, I'm sure), to appease the complainers. As fall approached, I used to look forward to it's arrival, and I really enjoyed the latte. But for me, it's undrinkable now; it just tastes of chemicals and is awful.
I've had the spiced apple water, it's not bad, unexpected but not bad. The smell was the powdered instant apple cider packets where you just add water and the taste reminded me of the apple cinnamon gel? stuff in the hungry man brand tv dinners dessert.
I'd never heard of Joe and the Juice as a wee Brit. A look on Google revealed there's a load of them here, including a few in cities near to me outside to London
I was disappointed they didn’t talk about Pumpkin Spice Twinkies. My two negatives for Starbucks is the price and the very noticeable acidic aftertaste taste.
Greggs has by far the worst coffee in the UK, so I'm not surprised the flavour in their take of pumpkin spice is subdued. Also, holy shit, 50g of sugar in that Starbucks latte lol.
Pumpkin spice doesn't contain pumpkin and only spices that you can commonly find at kitchens in my country. So it's kinda weird to see Westerners kinda went crazy for them every autumn season 😂😂😂
I have a pic on my phone from last year... our local food store HEB... had a pumpkin spice pork breakfast sausage tube. ....yeah.... apparently the zenith of pumpkin spice products has already been reached and we are on the inevitable slide to pumpkin spiced doom.
There really should be 3 different drinks: Pumpkin Spice flavored things should just have the pumpkin spice mixture, Pumpkin Pie Filling flavored thing should have pumpkin spice and pumpkin puree/flavor, and Pumpkin Pie flavored things should have all that but crumble some pie crust on top or in it.
if you are doing this i assume coz youve run out of things to compare, why not either do US vs another country, maybe an african country or somewhere like New Zealand or one of the Other Oceanic countries, or you could do UK vs all of the countries youve done US vs so far(UK vs Australia,India, Italy, Japan, China, Mexico), i think that would be fun
What’s so good about pumpkin spice stuff that people love because it taste like your sticking your index and middle finger down your throat trying to make yourself throw up
why go to likes of a starbucks or a costa if you just gonna have basically a froffy milk with some hint of coffee. little bit of milk okay but why do people need half their drink just as a milky froffy mess
WHY are you expecting pumpkin spice to taste of, or contain, any pumpkin? WTF? Pumpkin spice does not contain any pumpkin, same as dog food doesn't contain dog. Pumpkin spice is FOR pumpkin, much as dog food as FOR dogs.

Life is way more fun if you try new things.
@ also they’re literally called *sweet* potatoes lol. There are a ton of naturally sweet vegetables that you’ve forgotten about, too. We just call it corn but yall literally call it sweet corn!! And carrots??? Bite into a plain raw carrot and really taste it- it’s sweet! Beets are sweet- even onions are sweet!
I am SO glad that I do not drink coffee. Even on the small side, I can't fathom the amount of money people spend getting a coffee every morning. Even if just for work, $20-30 a week. Over a thousand bucks a year. Madness. People can do what they want with their own money of course, but there is a reason I own a home and will be mortgage free before I even turn 50.
Coffee is getting more expensive because certification of ethical sourcing is getting better. Large chains that don't roast in-house upcharge more whereas your local small batch roaster will still have $2 cups most of the time.
We are not even coffee drinkers, but a definite must see and a very entertaining video from our favorite Insider Food War Stars. Woohoo!
4 quid for coffee is an absolute piss take. That's like three days worth of groceries from Aldi.
you havent been in aldi in a while then because their prices have shot up 😂
@@jasminappleby779 If you're from the north, you know you can do a lot with 4 quid. 😅 You sure as shite aren't spending that on coffee!
We have starbucks pumpkin cream cold brew in the UK
I used to work at a Starbucks inside a grocery store. All the seasonal drinks are more than the unflavored drinks and the regular flavored drinks are in between the two. Joe's absolutely right.
Greggs is probably the cheapest place to get a coffee in the Uk (if you just want a coffee and nothing fancy)
Cheapest, there are even unofficial events when some people get "FREE" sausage rolls 🤣

We make Risotto with our pumpkin pulp, quite nice.
Ravioli as well
The best one is not shown as it's Canadian. Pumpkin Spice latte Coffee Crisp 😍
If Joe goes through the Greggs menu I'll sign up to any Patron you want 😅
Yes we need Joe in a Greggs
@@saf-speaks He has in a recent Food Tours video. I think they were trying pies? He didn't care for it or like it as far as I remember :(
Greggs deserves a second chance

I only like a few pumpkin things. Pumpkin Pie (only pie i like), Pumpkin Donuts, and Pumpkin Loaf cake.
Fun Fact: There is a Political Party in the US whose name has the initials PSL, and they have a presidential candidate named Claudia De la Cruz

I'm sad that Costa closed in the Philippines a few years ago. They were unable to penetrate the market here.
I work at Costa, and some people would go on the kiosks then ask “where’s the Pumpkin Spice Latte?”. 🤣
23:21 Don’t forget the Pumpkin Spice Cheerios!
Pumpkin Pie is the best 🥧 😋 but the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin from SB is so good
Pret also has pumpkin spice coffee which would have been a good comparison since they are in the US and UK.
Harry you forgot the Limited Edition Pumpkin Spice Latte pods from the Dolce Gusto Website.😬
I don't think he mentioned the Nespresso Pods either!
