My mom loved Mimosa trees. My sister had one in her yard and when my mom had her stroke my brother in law built a bench under it beside the fence. She loved sitting out there every day. She's buried under it on the other side of the fence with the bench beside her grave. My family ended up buying both cemetery plots on either side of her so we could put the bench out there and whenever those of us who are left of the brothers and sisters go to Kentucky to visit we all gather together and talk about Mama and stuff. I'm the only one who gets to be buried beside her. I'm kid #6 out of 12. There's only 5 of us left. I'm pretty sure I'll go next because I was given maybe a year without treatment and I've used up 6 months of that year. I'm getting worse. It's getting hard to deal with. My family is trying to get me back to Kentucky. I can't afford to move and my family that's up there can't pay for the move right now or come get me. They have their own crises going on with other family. I'll get there hopefully so I can be under a beautiful Mimosa tree next to the only person who ever loved me unconditionally. I'm 60 and miss my mama so much. So Lydia Mimosa trees are beautiful and smell amazing and that's one of my reasons for loving them. Have a wonderful trip.
This is the saddest story ever and I am sorry for you but happy that you had a mom that loved you so much. You will get under that Mimosa tree and will have much peace. Hope you know your savior so we all can meet in heaven…..
Diana Allen. Aloha from Oahu. Our family will be keeping you and yours in prayer. Also, Hawaii has quite a bit of Mimosa trees. It be a great reminder of you every time I see them around our house and island. Have a blessed one.
Australian here, we call it a Wattle tree. It’s a beautiful native tree.. and definitely not treated like a weed. My own farm is currently part of a conservation plan to restore native wattle varieties in our area.
Was SO excited to see you styling your bespoke tweed jacket! LOVE that you rewear your clothes and show how to style one piece multiple ways. Much appreciated!
I am really enjoying your style these days. Your videos also have more thematic layers. It's not just 'look what I'm wearing.' There is a deeper philosophy to your choices that wasn't as prominent before ... Your love of gardening, meditative living and heritage informs your aesthetic choices. I love your lifestyle because it tickles my artistic brain lol
Your styling advice is really helpful, especially for someone like me who doesn't come by it naturally! It also feels like an important life change, trying to focus on what to present myself and reflect who I am. I may not be able to afford some of the pieces you have, but it's still educational! Many thanks!
Lydia, from one introvert to another, I'd like to recommend the book "Quiet" by Susan Cain - essentially it's about honoring our introversion as well as harnessing our power as introverts and how to use that aspect of our personalities to our advantage in all aspects of our lives. I read it several years ago and it had a profound affect on my life and how I conduct myself both socially and in my work. It also helped me accept and honor things about myself that due to living in a society that praises extroversion used to make me feel were "wrong" or something I needed to "overcome". When I read the book I was living in a busy city and it actually helped me realize that where I was living was causing the intense anxiety (I was to the point of becoming agoraphobic) I had been dealing with. I eventually decided to move to a much smaller town and while I still sometimes suffer from bouts of anxiety, my mental health is exponentially better and my fear of leaving my home is completely gone. I was about your age when I read it and you are much further along on your self-realization journey than I was at that time of my life so it may not be as life-changing for you, but I still highly recommend and think you'll get something out of it that you can use in your own life if you do read it.
Thank you so much for showing the ‘pre-styled’ and styling process of the RL dress, it’s so useful to see and hear your thoughts when styling clothing. Just regarding the content, I’m here for it all. You could just be pottering at home, literally, and I would watch because you being so much of the energy I want to consume, positive, kindness and class. For reference, and this is in no way a ‘poor me’ comment, I (proudly) earn in a year what a mini Kelly probably costs, what I am trying to say your audience is vast from an influencing point of view, some may have an abundance of Hermes which is fantastic, meanwhile there are others like myself rocking our high street handbags but still loving your content. Thank you to you and your team for the content you create, I’m so excited to see what this year brings and I cannot wait to see the wild flowers in bloom in the garden ❤
I really enjoy your videos, but guuuurl, you need to sort out those titles. They are so detached from the spirit of the video. I wish I could be more helpful, but yeah... Maybe you should have named this one: A quick trip to France or something... I know people have complained before and I'm not saying this to be meanspirited, just a comment...
I’m an American and I love that other countries and cultures appreciate rest more. In America it’s a constant unsustainable hustle culture. Which is why we are the most depressed, medicated, obese, stressed out, unhappy humans on the planet. I’m 45 now and am finally allowing myself to step away, take time off, and as they say learning “the art of doing nothing”. ☺️❤️🙏🏻✌🏻
I’m an American too. I’m so sorry you are such an unhappy and lost person. Your description of my home is not my experience of the beautiful and welcoming country where I live … Hope you find what is causing you to only experience your personal negative existence, and find happiness and peace, wherever you are!
I too am a Colonial, but I have felt free to participate “in the art of doing nothing.” I am not depressed, stressed out, obese, or unhappy.” I had a stressful profession, but I enjoyed the learning and success it brought to my life. My family and friends work hard but make time to relax and enjoy life. I too enjoy the customs/culture of other countries. It broadens knowledge. Lydia and Mr. Gordon provide us with a lovely insight to a their culture….farm life/gardening, travel, food, classy clothing, lovely fragrances, accessories, and home decor.
Hey Lydia! I am an extremely new viewer to your channel, and after watching your comments towards the end of the video I just wanted to send you the biggest internet hug. I've watched a few of your videos now, and agree that you seem to be down on yourself a lot - however you honestly needn't be! I adore the way you seem to see the world; you have all these clips of you excitedly talking about the birds, the leaves, a beautiful sky, and it truly fills my heart to watch someone who just seems so in love with life and appreciative of the little things. Keep on being great Lydia; and I look forward to your greenhouse tea party in the spring! :-) xx
We call Mimosa “Wattle” in Australia & I don’t know who said we call it a weed because it’s a beautiful native species, we have a number of trees on our property & in the surrounding bush land it’s very common too, we have a number of species here & we love them 💕
@@ellenrobinson3297 yes, i think you guys have a problem with some eastern state wattles....when its out of its normal geographic location and doesn't have the usual insects to keep it under control it can take over. 🙂
That bag holder thing used to be soooo popular here in the States a few years ago but then restaurants started adding bag hooks to tables and now I don’t really see the portable ones anymore. But super handy to have if you go places that don’t have the table hooks. Putting bags on the ground is a big no no!
I love the part when you say: "Remember when people laughed at me when I said I wanted to have tea in a greenhouse." Amazing how you show us that believing in our dreams is actually an act of self-love
Loved the styling walkthrough! This outfit was a actually a nice/easy starting point- and I can totally see it being QUITE a helpful and informative exercise to do sometimes, esp w/ a more unique, complicated outfit- like separates or layers (as you mentioned); and it would def. be a useful/helpful exercise to demo & talk abt various options & considerations one might need to think abt when styling outfits… and how the choices are possibly diff. depending on the occasion/context, time of yr, etc… as well as types of prints, or color combos, & mixing/matching separates & other types of clothing/styles… so I appreciate it a lot! A look can seem so simple when creating it in your head, then in reality… never quite come together fully the way you envisioned, and you don’t know what it is that isn’t working… When a person says, “I just cinch up the belt, slip on some flats/sandals, and in the spring- throw a sweater around my shoulders”; bc you’re right… seeing someone get dressed from beginning to end and watching how they style an outfit- meanwhile, head then explain what they’re thinking about when considering how to style it and describe why they’re picking the item/accessory to wear that they are… is/can be helpful for a variety of ppl, & for numerous reasons- whether it’s the personalization of the look, the practical side of tips/tricks, making an outfit show off one’s proportions best, or help find ppl transition clothing through different seasons… it’s a fun and educational exercise. Would love to see how you pick out what you’re going to wear for a date night or special/formal event! Also, I would love to see you do a “go to bed with me” style video where you share your beauty routine and rituals for skin AE makeup and fav products etc… Fun vid! U made the right decision abt r career- no one wants to see a bunch of vids of ppl song the same stuff… it’s be diff if ur was like makeup reviews and ppl had diff opinions or skin types and experiences using stuff… but the problem is that at most of those events people are going to have the same type of response and feedback to share with viewers, which is highly likely to be complimentary/positive and I for one don’t need to see more than 1 or 2 ppl on the same perfume brand trip bc there’s not enough diversity of experiences and opinions that could even be possible! Glad I found your channel recently and appreciate you sharing these more vulnerable/intimate moments bc it man’s you more relatable and helps ppl understand where ur coming from and why you’re doing the things you do- bc we obvs care! Happy ur doing what makes u happy!
I’d say for you, or others in general the Summer Walk loafers would probably be the most flattering with a pant or denim. Like the white denim you wore on the trip, that show shape and the silhouette of the white jeans would soften that “masculine feel” then a feminine blouse or very thin jumper would look great. Picture those photos of Katharine Hepburn or even Audrey Hepburn …
In Australia we call it Wattle. It starts blooming at the end of winter if it’s sunny or early spring so late August/ September and it is stunning. It is springs up everywhere and the countryside is so fragrant and beautiful with the burst of yellow blooms. We are the lucky country 😊❤
I love it that you actually wear your Hermes bags and you make them look very functional and versatile with different outfits. I know quite a few people that don't use their Hermes bags on everyday occasion ❤
Lydia just wanted to mention that your tummy issues can be caused by anxiety. Especially if you notice that you are feeling fine at home and mostly of your issues are when you are away from home. Hope your feeling better now ❤
Driving own self to own level of standard/perfection to many individual it causes anxiety/tummy issues. It is to do with parasympathetic nerve connection between brain and gut.
The point you made at the end is exactly why you are my favorite influencer! I love that with you i get to discover new brands and visit new places. It’s sooo refreshing compared to all the other influencers constantly posting the same content. So thank you for being you! ❤ I had a tester of the perfume and was a fan already, but learning about how/where it is made through your vlog has really made me want to splurge on it 😌
I love your content. Keep doing what you’re doing because I always feel relaxed yet inspired after watching one of your videos. Plus, it’s so refreshing to see an influencer that actually uses her accessories regularly and sticks to what she loves!
I loved traveling with you two. You and Ali together is a special treat ! What a wonderful energy you bring to us when you’re together. ❤❤❤ also, the places you visited where amazing and how you talk to us and your elegance going through it all is a life lesson. 💝🥰
Lydia, I’ve relearned to see the beauty in my surroundings and every day life because of you. Obviously no one can get every single thing 100% right every single time, but that’s part of life. I have never once felt like I wasted my time watching any of your videos, but I always feel better for it. And a fun note, I recognize so many more brands because of you and Ali, which is really fun! You do you, because we love it and are here for it! I hope to meet you one day, even though I am way over here in the U.S.!
I fell ill in December 2021 and while sitting on the couch searching for some distraction and comfort, I stumbled across your vlog and fell in love with Vlogmas. You and you’re entire team have been a steady and consistent part of my life since then and it feels like you’re the older sister that I never had! Sorry, but of an emotional bit. But anyways. First off: thank you for everything. As a gung-ho workaholic I feel a little bad for saying it, but you’ve provided me peace and a sort of acceptance for leaning into my feminine energy that I’ve never had before. Which I know might be a trendy thing to say, but it’s true. Second: I’m eager to learn more and more from you and your team, but one thing that stood out in this video in particular is how I have literally no idea how to choose the perfect fragrance for the outfit I’m wearing/season. I’d be curious for your feedback - any and all input would be appreciated!
It is very easy for foreigners to forget that Southern Europe gets super chilly in January/February. It's our snow season in Greece. Although we still have amazing destinations for Winter/early Spring, please remember to bring your warm clothes.
Hi Lydia, I really loved this video, I have followed you for a long time and I love that you are staying true to what you love and believe in. Your industry is so intense and requires you to continually internalise everything you do. I am sure some of your audience have no concept of how hard it is to put yourself “out there” all the time. I couldn’t do it for sure! All I would say is make sure you are enjoying it and it brings you joy! You certainly bring your audience joy You are fabulous !! ❤
I really enjoyed this VLOG, Lydia... normally, I don't love the travel VLOGs because I watch you and some other UK vloggers because I love the UK lifestyle: horses, dogs, rain, oak floors & beams, hot tea and more dogs. But, there was a coziness to this travel vlog, with the time in the nursery, greenhouse, with views from your hotel that gave it a unique homey quality. Plus, my parents and I have travelled to Cannes a few times, and the sun on the water brought back such lovely memories of the wind off the ocean there. I have to admit that I may be the unicorn in your audience; I love the rain, the mud, the gardens under snow and frost... foggy windows in the kitchen tells me it's cold outside! Yay! I live in a very sunny and warm climate where I yearn for the cozy vibes of the northern climates and am planning to manifest a cottage in my later life as an expat American living in Oxfordshire - Chipping Norton homes and gardens will be my retirement villa, for sure! I don't have any luxury bags, it's just not my thing, but I love to see what others do with their bags... as an old semi-retired lady, I've learned that I'm more of a cross body messenger bag gal, but I love the 'twillies' idea and all your styling ideas - they often remind me of Jackie Onassis meets Audrey Hepburn meets a young, horsey Princess Anne. Thanks for all the lovely content, Lydia...and thanks for sharing your continuing powerful evolution as a local & global citizen, learning and growing and taking us with you! 💚
I appreciate your honesty. I was invited to a work event which would have had me in a spin but I remembered one of your outfits and a copied it. I got loads of complements and one person even said you know how to accessorize. It was also my first time wearing my Hermes Kelly black with gold belt. Love watching your videos especially at the end of a hard day. God bless you and your husband. Keep being you please.
Belly issues - something I was fighting for many, many ,years going from GP to GP left me without any answers but feeling worse in a long run, because it just made me feel like a hypochondriac! Until I ended up in a hospital with internal bleeding which cause was unknown ! I was let go home week later without any diagnosis , nothing helped me until I’ve found this book “The bloated belly whisperer “ I highly recommend it for anyone struggling with any tummy issues ❤️
Dear Lydia, listening to your words at the end of your video, they were so resonating with me and the way I approach my life in this particular time of my life! So thank you for sharing ❤
In Russia, Mimosa is a symbol of 8th of March - International Women's Day. Back in the day, it used to be sold in the begging of March, and you would always buy a heap of mimosa for your beloved female.🏵🏵🏵
You come across as a sincere and grown up person. I have known you since your beginning but started recently to pay more attention to your content and I do see the change. Good luck with everything! Regarding the masculine loafers, wear them with pencil smart casual way with the ankle showing. That’s how ai would personally style them! ❤❤❤
I'm Australian and yes the wattle grows everywhere and sometimes people clear the wattle so that the eucalyptus trees can grow as the wattle just grows so fast. But us Aussies are proud of our national floral emblem and the green and gold is recognized all over the world as Australian colours.
Regarding your tummy troubles-since March of 2020 I have been eating only food that I prepare at home and now that that we are no longer in lockdown and restaurants have opened back up I find when I dine out I have severe tummy troubles for a day or two. My diet and lifestyle has become so clean and pure. From what I can see on your videos you both seem to eat clean and healthy as well. I would guess it’s something that is being used in the preparation of your meals when you’re dining out. Food for thought. Seed is an excellent pro/prebiotic. That might help as well.
You should be your authentic self... I think sometimes people try too hard to stand out from others they come off looking like they're trying too hard. Be you!
I’ve been using bag holders since I can remember! They are so practical and classy! It amazes me how there are still people who don’t know this. It’s probably a bag’s best friend 😀
Absolutely love the Ralph Lauren dress it's so timeless! Love that the stripes are vertical on the front and diagonal on the back, gives the dress a point of difference. I feel a treat to myself coming along... 😉
Great styling session - I learnt such a lot. Definitely like the ballet flats best. I think you are right the other flats are just a little chunky with a dress, possibly better with jeans
Only started watching your videos recently but I love them. Love watching how you style things and I have recently started wearing some of my clothes in a different way by using accessories that I wouldn’t have normally done. Look forward to each new video now. Thank you ❤
That Ralph Lauren dress is lovely... I think maybe you've gone a little too 'Twee' with the styling, though... very 'Retired in the 'burbs, country club'.... although, if you feel good, absolutely do it. But you could definitely make it look more up to date. I'm glad you're finding your space here. ✨️
Love how you go from elegant model walk to the funny and goofy Lydia we all love in 2 seconds 🤣the perfume is on order and can't wait to try it the only influencer I trust wholeheartedly xXx
I truly enjoyed you and Ali in France. You 2 are truly a team and yall look so good together. What top it off was the Fact that you 2 looked as if you were enjoying each other as well as the enjoying your host.Keep it going kids.
Always excited to hear about new fragrance. Talking about the mimosa flower then seeing the arrangement in your room. Oooh no, that’s wattle in Australia, we had a tree growing in side yard as a kid, it would make my nose itch & eyes water when it flowered. 😢
I would tie the belt (from the dress) crisscross at the front & then tie at the back. Specialy with the collar up. CHLOE has tan ballet flats, aswel as, AEYDE kirsten in tan ballet flats, PORT & PAIRE in black & light beige And TheRow has some pretty lovely ballets too Hope this helps your journey in finding what you are looking for. ✌🏻🌺
Oh how my heart sang when our Aussie Wattle tree aka “mimosa” was the central note of that fragrance. My childhood smells just like that so your video just brought a huge smile on my face! The wattle is actually our national flora. I looove your videos, and even if you do talk on about things people may already have, it’s just always good to get a fresh perspective from another person and can make it entertaining and put as much passion in telling their story as you do! Thank you Lids! Xo
Catching up with Vlogs after some time in hospital - on the mend !!! Please look after you Lydia rest and enjoy life x you work hard and you don’t have to justify your time out x Keep doing the amazing work you do , your content is always great xx 😘
Lydia, I watch your videos as I’m getting ready in the morning, with my coffee, doing my make up and it is my favorite part of the day. They are beautiful and calming and inspirational and quite honestly there is no one else like you on any space.
The wattle (that’s what we call it here in Australia) is EVERYWHERE. 😂 It makes me sneeze every spring time as they bloom everywhere but they are beautiful. I wonder what the “wattle cake” tasted like? I would have liked a piece of that. The fragrance would have smelt lovely. Thanks for sharing your videos which are wonderful.
Mimosa is known to us as a common wattle that grows randomly on road sides and in the bush. It’s a distinct fragrance for our winters and there’s a song that talks about the Cootamundra Wattle sung by John Williamson. Unfortunately it’s legally classed as a control listed weed in Western Australia and Queensland.
Yes, the styling was and is helpful. I have a dress like that, only a bit lighter blue and I never wear it because I am not sure how to style it. But I have a version of all those accessories you showed us and now I will start to wear it when Spring comes around. Thank you. BTW, I am a solitary person like you, who had a job where I was constantly on the road meeting with clients and prospect, always flying somewhere. But I always needed to decompress when I got home. I am naturally a shy person, but I do not let people know that about me. But what I have noticed about myself, and my more outgoing friends is that they do not need decompression time. As a matter of fact, they thrive being with people all the time, they can't get enough. Their energy level comes from them being out and about with people. Whereas I like people and being around them, but they sap all my energy from me, and I need to build myself back up. Perhaps you are like me. Because I get what you need and are saying. I am sorry to say I have lost more than one friend when I have told them, that I needed to rest rather than go out with them. Thank you, Lydia.
Lydia I’m so happy you are going down your own road because I’m so tired of all these influencers doing the same push on the same projects and products. Used to be more genuine in these kind of work. Loving that you are always listening to yourself. I’ve watched you for years and seeing your heart pouring through your videos. Wishing you lots of joy on another new journey.
I’m “watching” while working. I’ll have to watch your trip once I get home. L’Artisan is one of my favorites, and I’ve been wearing the house for 20 years or so. Even if I want to see more on a brand trip, that’s an indication that I should visit the area myself. Your style and way of doing things is your own, and that’s great! Food sensitivities are super annoying! I have them too. The older I’ve gotten, the less I can get away with, in terms of what I eat. Some countries, I’ll have to have a kitchen, to cook my own food. I like the styling segment! It’s very you, and it’s very effective. 😉
I always love your videos, you’ve changed so much for the better and you know it, we just love your life Don’t change your ethnic now and just be yourself it’s what we want to see x
It is more blessed to give than to receive. I feel that you are a giver Lydia who has a deep understanding too the meaning what I’ve written to you. All complimentary to you. 37:18 The dress is perfect! 49:32 Adore you Lydia. ❤
I love watching your travel content ❤️ Gives me excellent inspiration for what to wear as well! Gorgeous. The Loro Piana loafers are lovely but I agree the ballet flats or Oran's are much more suited to the dress.
10000% - we watch you because we're on the same wavelength, we basically just live vicariously through you! What a beautiful trip, the chateau looked absolutely stunning 😍 Making me so ready for Spring and the life it brings outdoors. Another wonderful vlog xx
Hi Lydia. Loved the video of your trip and mimosas especially. Thanks for showing nice places. The change in your Instagram is the best decision & what you said about what you like, we also like is very true & I totally belive in it. I think every influencer should do that. This is why I love you & your videos, showing the real staff, not just for the sake of the business. Thank your very much for your efforts. 🙏🙏🙏💝🌺🍀
This was such a lovely video. Loved seeing your trip, but then also the styling and chat at the end. I love your style, and even though I will never afford to buy myself a Hermes bag, I really appreciate your more affordable recommendedations. I recently bought myself the Lauren Ralph Lauren belt you recommended, and I've already worn it so much! I also have become really interested in gardening over the last few years, so your content has me covered 😆 I barely watch any other TH-cam videos these days!
Hi Lydia. The more symptoms I hear you have the more I can relate. A couple of years ago I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and in all honesty I think you should have a wee look into it. Xjx
Such a lovely vlog and I enjoy the changes you made with your life, style and work. I could pick up on your energy and excitement for sure. I learned a lot from you and I love your elegant and sophisticated style. Never was i disappointed in anything I bought or did because of your recommendation. I love what you said about only doing the things that set your heart on fire. ❤
Have you considered that you might have a touch of IBS. That can definitely be brought on by anxiety and if you regularly get a funny tummy when you’re away you might be going into trips fearing the worst which will fuel the IBS. I hope you get to the ‘bottom’ of it (honestly, there was no pun intended when I wrote it!).
I am very interested in seeing if I can find this fragrance, and truly love to see the story and full experience of the brands and items you choose to engage with. And never apologize if you are an introvert, it isn't a personality flaw! It's just your way of being in the world, and you don't have to change!
Great video! Loved the trip to Provence and the backgroundinformation about the perfume! You did a great job! Lovely video Lydia. Just like a short vacation from my day!
I can so relate to what you said at the end. I never use to get overwelmed when I was younger, but now after rough week and too many socials I need to decrompress too.
Yes, love that aroma! We have beautiful Acacia (mimosa) trees all over Napa in California…the trees are blooming now and with the yellow mustard flowers in the vineyards it looks so sunny & bright.
Sending you love and peace! ❤
Diana Allen. Aloha from Oahu. Our family will be keeping you and yours in prayer. Also, Hawaii has quite a bit of Mimosa trees. It be a great reminder of you every time I see them around our house and island. Have a blessed one.
Hugs 🤗
Your story made me sad, wishing you all the best from The Netherlands 😢
Australian here, we call it a Wattle tree. It’s a beautiful native tree.. and definitely not treated like a weed. My own farm is currently part of a conservation plan to restore native wattle varieties in our area.

It’s cheap click-bait.☹️
Totally agree with your comment. It’s giving “house tour” without the tour.
She knows what she is doing😏
But why do you care about the title though? Wouldn't you watch the vlog anyway?
That’s a lovely way you’ve said it and it appears we all agree.
:-) xx
Loved to see your styling tricks. Such a big difference to see a dress fully styled vs just putting it on. ❤️
Elegance, style and perfect pairing of pieces. Thank you for sharing your trip to France with us.
We call Mimosa “Wattle” in Australia & I don’t know who said we call it a weed because it’s a beautiful native species, we have a number of trees on our property & in the surrounding bush land it’s very common too, we have a number of species here & we love them 💕
Yes, it's our national floral emblem so definitely not a weed. It's a magnificent tree. 💛💛💛
I was literally googling is mimosa wattle?!
It is declared a pest in Western Australia unfortunately
A look can seem so simple when creating it in your head, then in reality… never quite come together fully the way you envisioned, and you don’t know what it is that isn’t working…
When a person says, “I just cinch up the belt, slip on some flats/sandals, and in the spring- throw a sweater around my shoulders”; bc you’re right… seeing someone get dressed from beginning to end and watching how they style an outfit- meanwhile, head then explain what they’re thinking about when considering how to style it and describe why they’re picking the item/accessory to wear that they are… is/can be helpful for a variety of ppl, & for numerous reasons- whether it’s the personalization of the look, the practical side of tips/tricks, making an outfit show off one’s proportions best, or help find ppl transition clothing through different seasons… it’s a fun and educational exercise. Would love to see how you pick out what you’re going to wear for a date night or special/formal event!
Also, I would love to see you do a “go to bed with me” style video where you share your beauty routine and rituals for skin AE makeup and fav products etc…
Fun vid!
Absolutely… Golden Wattle .. the smell always reminds me of my childhood
Hope your feeling better now ❤
I was going to say this ❤
Driving own self to own level of standard/perfection to many individual it causes anxiety/tummy issues. It is to do with parasympathetic nerve connection between brain and gut.
Travelling can give you stomach issues
I agree with this. Anxiety definitely hits the gut.
@@jennifer6833 yesss and anxiety gives me heartburn too which is horrible
The point you made at the end is exactly why you are my favorite influencer! I love that with you i get to discover new brands and visit new places. It’s sooo refreshing compared to all the other influencers constantly posting the same content. So thank you for being you! ❤ I had a tester of the perfume and was a fan already, but learning about how/where it is made through your vlog has really made me want to splurge on it 😌
I’m just obsessed with that garden outfit! Absolutely love it!!! I need that in my life
Hello Lydia,
you are one of the few on social media with the best content. I have been following you for years and think your development is great.
What a lovely comment and so true, this is why you watch the people you choose to subscribe too ❤
I fell ill in December 2021 and while sitting on the couch searching for some distraction and comfort, I stumbled across your vlog and fell in love with Vlogmas.
What a beautiful trip! This post, start to finish, was just perfection. 🥰
I lost my father a year ago and you always inspire me to be more gentle with myself. I have followed you since 2016 you are my guilty pleasure
So sorry for your loss 🌸
Belly issues - something I was fighting for many, many ,years going from GP to GP left me without any answers but feeling worse in a long run, because it just made me feel like a hypochondriac! Until I ended up in a hospital with internal bleeding which cause was unknown ! I was let go home week later without any diagnosis , nothing helped me until I’ve found this book
“The bloated belly whisperer “ I highly recommend it for anyone struggling with any tummy issues ❤️
Dear Lydia, listening to your words at the end of your video, they were so resonating with me and the way I approach my life in this particular time of my life! So thank you for sharing ❤
I really enjoyed this vlog. I appreciate the hard work and scrupulous attention to detail that it took to make this so fun to watch. Keep well Lydia 💓
Would you consider a blog on closet clean out , making decisions on what to part with what to keep , proper organizing. Your so neat we all love you.
You are the luckiest woman in the world Lydia! Ali is so sweet for warming you up under the covers with the blow dryer. You guys are too cute 😄
One of my favorite things about you is that you USE your items. You love them and you use them.
Love the art! Thank you for taking us along 💕
In Russia, Mimosa is a symbol of 8th of March - International Women's Day. Back in the day, it used to be sold in the begging of March, and you would always buy a heap of mimosa for your beloved female.🏵🏵🏵
I love your vids, never boring. It's nice to have varied content, fashion, interiors, garden, travel, beauty, business etc. You do it all! ❤
You both look amazing. It makes me happy to see you with such an amazing husband.
Its actually Australia's national flower but we call it wattle. 🥰 🇦🇺
Thank you Lydia for sharing these lovely little pieces of your life with us!🌺🌺🌺
You should be your authentic self...
These vlogs are escapism for me. That trip looked amazing!
Thank you ❤
Loved your video. I’m enjoying seeing your style growing more mature. Love from the states.
Not a fan of the Ralph Lauren dress, but intrigued by the perfume. Thanks for sharing!
I just think you are fabulous Lydia, thank you for sharing everything you do and places you go. Xx
Your so close to 1 million subscribers. 🎉 I’m so excited for you Lydia! 🎉
Your painting reminds me of lemon trees!! So beautiful!! I love these videos with you and Ali enjoying something you both love!!
We call mimosa “Wattle “ here in Australia and mid to late August it’s everywhere and happily the first sign of Spring- ☺️🙌
CHLOE has tan ballet flats,
aswel as,
AEYDE kirsten in tan ballet flats,
PORT & PAIRE in black & light beige
And TheRow has some pretty lovely ballets too
Hope this helps your journey in finding what you are looking for.
Xo
Same as me .. I live in australia and in the country in my town it’s everywhere and the smell and the bees remind me of my childhood .
the styling was very helpful!! I love your tips!
Catching up with Vlogs after some time in hospital - on the mend !!!
Please look after you Lydia rest and enjoy life x you work hard and you don’t have to justify your time out x
Keep doing the amazing work you do , your content is always great xx 😘
Happy for you Lydia! Have watched you for years, you deserve every bit of success and happiness. Amazing, you should be so proud of yourself. ❤
That shirt dress, the way your styled it Lydia, wow! Just gorgeous.
Love your style, so classy and elegant.
La Napoule is the wedding venue that I choose for my wedding next summer I FELT SO IN LOVE with this place, imagine in august ..
You and Ali are truly the most beautiful couple. You both have nailed your style and I for one am super jealous of your Emilia Wickstead coat. ❤️🤗❤️
Loved the styling element, found it so helpful
I'm also "watching" While working 😉
In what capacity?
In some sort of capacity. 😅
I always love your videos, you’ve changed so much for the better and you know it, we just love your life
Don’t change your ethnic now and just be yourself it’s what we want to see x
It is more blessed to give than to receive. I feel that you are a giver Lydia who has a deep understanding too the meaning what I’ve written to you. All complimentary to you. 37:18 The dress is perfect! 49:32 Adore you Lydia.
❤
I love watching your travel content ❤️ Gives me excellent inspiration for what to wear as well! Gorgeous. The Loro Piana loafers are lovely but I agree the ballet flats or Oran's are much more suited to the dress.
10000% - we watch you because we're on the same wavelength, we basically just live vicariously through you! What a beautiful trip, the chateau looked absolutely stunning 😍
Making me so ready for Spring and the life it brings outdoors. Another wonderful vlog xx
Brillant Lydia have a fantastic time 🙌🏻✨️
Love the Ralph Lauren dress which goes very good with the ballett flats. Thank you for taking us to France. 🪴🍀
I also have become really interested in gardening over the last few years, so your content has me covered 😆
I barely watch any other TH-cam videos these days!
Australian Wattle isnt a weed. Just a native plant that grows naturally 💛💛💛
That navy and white outfit was so clean, classic, and lovely! 🫶🏼
Those purse hooks have been around for a Long time. I remember my mom using those in the 80’s.
I love every video ever! Always do what you love with all your heart and ppl will see that through and through 😘😍
I am very interested in seeing if I can find this fragrance, and truly love to see the story and full experience of the brands and items you choose to engage with. And never apologize if you are an introvert, it isn't a personality flaw! It's just your way of being in the world, and you don't have to change!
The Loro Piana shoes are beautiful 😍😍😍😍 looks effortless but elegant on you. Just stunning as ever! ❤️
