I really love your video because my husband and I are thinking about going on either MSC yacht club, Celebrity cruises, or Holland America in Neptune suite.
We are foodies so really good food is very important to us. I enjoyed all the delicious food that you had on your cruise. I especially want to try out the buffet on MSC yacht club. I have heard from other videos that the seafood served at the buffet on yacht club is excellent. The black cod sounded great.Thankyou
Thank you for your lovely comments. Jane and I can’t quite believe it’s been 20 years. We both remember it well and I would do it all over again if I could. No regrets at all.
I’m a big fan of MSC Yacht Club and have several YC trips coming up. The food is not fantastic though. It’s good but not amazing. However, the service, pampering, facilities and suites in YC are fantastic, especially considering the cost.
If you are a big foodie, maybe Celebrity’s Retreat would be better for you? I don’t think the Retreat facilities are as good as YC from what I’ve seen.
Yes! The buffet in the YC was sooooo good! They have a big party on the YC deck and it’s such a good vibe. Huge amount of seafood was available. Great memories.

Since our 2020 cruise was canceled & this will be our 1st cruise without kids, I’ve really been torn on which cruise line to choose. I wanted the ship within a ship elevated experiences. Your video has solidified my decision to book MSC Yacht Club! Thanks for posting.

I was fortunate enough to experience Yacht Club on Virtuosa this Summer, and found the food to be really next level - the whole Yacht Club experience is just fantastic!

@@CruiseShowUK Was thinking of what wines you chose or were recommended with the various meals or snacks, or what cocktails you ventured to try. Were the drinks weak or strong etc.
I would have liked to see the inside of the steaks after you cut into them. Good video. We need to know the costs of all this luxury though. Drinks etc.
Thanks for letting me know what you’d like to see. This helps immensely for future videos. Drinks are included in the cruise fare in Yacht Club so you can really let yourself go.
Based on what I’ve just watched David, I can fully understand why you’re reluctant to stray away from the YC for meals, all looked top notch. However, as a YC guest, do you get a reduction when eating in a supplementary restaurant? I suspect not, but would feel that you should to reflect the increased cost in the YC cruise fare. Another informative video, thank you 🙏.
Hello again. It’s a good question, however the answer is no. You don’t get a discount. I guess it would be a nice touch/benefit for YC guests to get a discount.
MSC do a status match, which is really excellent. So they will match your loyalty from other cruise lines. If you get Diamond (highest level), you can go to any of the speciality restaurants once for free. It’s a great little benefit. You also get a bottle of Champagne or spirits. I had a huge bottle of Jack Daniels on my last trip with them. This time, I let my sister choose and she had a nice bottle of Champagne to take home.

Hello and thanks for watching. No I don’t think so, I have an Apple Watch on….. oh I think you mean the MSC wrist band. They give you that in the Yacht Club. It acts like your cruise card, so you use it to pay for things and open your cabin door. David

What restaurants are included with the yatch club experience?
The restaurant included is the Yacht Club restaurant which is the best one. Alternatively you could go to any of the other main restaurants free of charge. The speciality restaurants like HOLA! Tacos & Cantina ( has extra charge ) · Indochine ( has extra charge ) · Kaito Teppanyaki (has extra charge)
