I have just found your channel today and have to say we have thoroughly enjoyed watching a few of your videos so far. very informative, and professionally put together- you have gained another subscriber!
I really like your cheeky style of presentation. I just watched your Cunard overview...now I'm onto this one. I feel a binge coming on. Your lighthearted approach, with that delicate British sting, is fantastic. Subbed.
I love the speciality dining on NCL but on RCL, Costa, Carnival and Thomson(now Marella(?)) it was disappointing. From this lot, I might try the Butchers Cut and Indochine. I find Mexican food too samey even in Mexico! And as for sushi, I tried it once and that was enough! High prices, but I guess that's to counter their low cruise fares. Good review
Great review. I only do Butchers cut and indo, don't like Mexican or Japanese, so my stomach knows best.We also get one free for being Diamond, which we received as status match from our Royal caribbean Diamond Plus.I had the beef noodle dish and couldn't finish it,huge portion.only 28 days to go for our 3rd Vituosa cruise in 10 months. Also Royal have gone down the pan, food wise.Phil.
Hi Phil, you are a Virtuosa specialist, 3 Cruises in 10 months! I see MSC are adding so many Middle East destinations to their itineraries. Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Qatar got added
With Diamond Club status you get one speciality restaurant complimentary per cruise. I'm choosing the Butcher Cut because I don't care for Asian food as it doesn't fill me up and where I live I eat Mexican food daily😁 If I didn't get the complimentary specialty restaurant included, I wouldn't pick any of them as the on-board food is good enough for me in the buffet, so I don't have to sit and wait for every course to come out when I'm hungry. Thank you for your honest cruise reviews!
Hi, I very much agree that the included Main Dining Room food is good. For the vast majority of people I think 1, or 2 speciality dining, at most, makes sense.
@@ritzytravelguideProbably so. I'm just not into eating out at restaurants, and that's why I mainly eat at the buffets on cruise ships. I do the same thing at high end hotels with executive lounges. They usually have a buffet too!😋
Good work! That steak in Butchers Cut is making me hungry just from watching it. I remember a Billy Connolly joke that Mexican food is all the same, the only difference is how it’s folded
@@ritzytravelguide I am about to do a taster cruise on this Cruise ship I am not really a drinker do you have any drink package recommendations or should I just pay as I go MSC seem to have a few marketing tricks lol 🤣
I'm going to msc Friday u didn't talk about breakfast cause in the day we will visit the cities at what time it opens ? And is it so much crowdy ? Thank u för all ur videos
@@ritzytravelguide thank you so much, some people say you can and others say no you can’t, good to know now, I’ve booked the 2 speciality dining experiences with the carousel show and the restaurants look like it’s worth a go anyway, thanks again
@@ritzytravelguide That's interesting as the MSC web site says they are excluded, "but does not cover the specialty restaurants and signature venues". Seems a bit harsh if you intend to spend some time in them and current price is £704 per person for my drinks package.
Hi. Enjoyed your video. Very informative. And about getting the restaurant packages, where and when should I buy them please? Will be getting an euribia package from seascanner and if I want a drink package, do I need to get it from msc official site?
Hi, once you have booked your cruise, and have a confirmation number, download the MSC app. On the app you can make your bookings, for drinks, restaurants, wifi etc
OMG that Thai experience seems over-priced. But I live in San Francisco and i can get better for less. Same with Japanese food. I love ramen and can get the best for $18 with the most depth of flavor broth at Iza Ramen, or udon at a chain for $10 with protein.
What is a "New York Sirloin?" That isnt a steak cut. A New York is cut from the short loin. A sirloin is cut from, well, the sirloin. A steak can't be both. It's one of the other.
I have to admit , the Mexican restaurant was a mess. They will have to up the game on that one for the American market. Black beans as a hot appetizer. Yeah no. Burrito embarrassing . Steak house and Indochina looked great. Thank you for the video. MSC here in US market doesn’t get great reviews. Hoping to take them for a long weekend trip to judge for myself. Thank you again.
As a poor person looking to go on the euribia I absolutely won't be spending money on additional restaurants especially if they're the same as the buffet. I'll live without a steak

Great video! The observation that some of the specialty food was “suspiciously similar” to the buffet food was hilarious 😀
Many thanks.... it was suspiciously familiar!

Great to hear from you Rob. Thank you very much!
Really enjoying your reviews. You have a very classy presentation. Unique and appreciated.
That's very kind of you to say, thank you!
Great video. We are considering booking for the MSC Euribia, and so your review of speciality dining might prove useful. Great stuff.
You're welcome!

That's not Mexican food. That's not the kind of Mexican food i eat in the US or Mexico .
It's not very authentic no. At best it's Tex Mex
none of them
