if you click on fixed reticle the cross hairs stays were you zeroe eg 3"to the left 5" high go to the one below and set continuouse lets the increments go up in short steps .when you set centeral retical at 3.5 it shows the reticle where you set up 3" left 5" high and the cross hairs then jumps to the centre of the screen at 7 mag and goes up in incriments and stays centre hope this helps
There seems to be no end of issues with the alpex but glad the original restore sorted out your zoom issue, let’s hope after you do another restore it fixes the issue again, My gun is still at the shop getting the alpex’s ballistics data sorted out so been told it’ll be ready Tuesday, If it’s not perfect I’ll send it back for a refund and will get the new DNT Thermnight and you’re right hik missed a trick not adding a slo motion setting that would of been good to have, Hopefully you’ll sort your issue out and get some footage uploaded
I am researching new day/night scopes. I want a scope type setup so that rules out the Zulus. I have a Pard DS35 50LRF so x4 to x8 which is perfect for sub 12 airgun ranges more so than the DS35 70LRF. I just need a second scope for my other rifle. Watching this I might get another DS35 50LRF.
The pard is a great scope for sub 12 and more I like its light weight and easy of use and the eye box is incredible just not a big fan of its zoom ranges….. don’t understand why they just don’t make one 3 to 18 ish type zoom The Hikmicro alpex is great scope and I’m sure there update it and sort the bugs etc but it’s heavier and a little more in-depth to use maybe but it’s picture and zoom is really good so better perhaps for longer distances and I really like the recticle choice and the recording view too Both great scopes 🤷♂️
@ I agree a x3 t0 x20 on a pard would be great. I have a spare Hw100kt that I want to use as a fixed distance 20 yard squirrel gun. I am tempted by the good offers on the Pard DS35 50 non lrf £412. What do u think?
I hope the second restore cures the issue, it did with mine. I fear there's glitch's in the software and you found one. By the end of the saga you'll know your settings to memory. I'll have a go at turning the ballistics off and on then report back. Just turned the ballistics off and the mag range remains, turned the ballistics back on and the mag range is still good. HTH
Thanks not so good for me it did reset and work until I tried the range finder then it bombed out again another reset and it worked until I set the reticle to centre the bombed area??? But ok with fixed reticle????
@@LRHVerminControl The trouble is no one in china shoots. I think we are beta testing. If mine goes wrong again I will consider the nearest hedge. ps my mates is still on factory settings and he's not going to update.
Great video as always very informative, can i ask what’s your opinion on the pards ds37/70lrf in comparison to the alpex i already have the pard but thinking about the alpex but seeing a few issues i am not sure weather to bother or not, 😱unfortunately my brand new pard has failed and in for warranty repair after only 3 months hence thinking about changing to alpex, however seeing these videos popping up on TH-cam is making me think twice about alpex !!!
Well both are good scopes but the alpex takes it for me The eyepiece on the pard is exceptionally good but funny enough it’s the poor zoom range on the pards I think let’s it down and I really like the alpex reticles compared with the pard Once Hikmicro sort the software issues the alpex will be an excellent scope for me which is why I’m happy to persevere with it
Zoom is back! HikMicro release new Alpex 4K LRF Firmware 5.5.110 Have a look at Scott Country videos. Its meant to jump up the zoom scale depending on what you have it set on?? Night Vision Show.
You are waisting your time ringing the Hikvision Support . They were not able to solve my issue as regards the position of the range finder frame in my viewfinder

I think Hick mico are poor with information thanks for your fair criticism unlike a lot of videos 👍
Go to advanced settings-reticule setting change to fixed not central and zoom should work in the smaller increments. Hope this helps.
This is what you need to do needs to be on central reticle not centre
Mine did the same, going to a Hikmicro night vision show locally soon will ask them to sort it out, if they can?
