    To all the ungrateful people who complained. You're getting valuable information for nothing , go to the dealer and spend a $1,000.00 bucks if you feel the man chatters to much. Why can't you be grateful and thank the guy instead of finding fault ?

      Joseph M exactly. I'm very grateful for his chatter, and some people need the extra info. I'm quit CAR savy, and I refuse to take my vehicle to a mechanic . I'm a 5' 120 lb woman. They are usually too busy talking to my boobs to really hear anything I'm saying. When I come back for my vehicle.. work was done that wasn't needed thinking I'm dumb enough to fall for it. I'd rather do the shit myself, and I enjoy learning .. Especially electrical, because I use to be so afraid to even change one of the old house fuses. Lol

    I have a 2003 eclipse that we turned into a race car. During the build I guess we did something that it went into anti theft mode.
    Turns over but no spark!!!!
    Any advice????

    Good video, well explained, friend Lessco, how can I do to disable the safety light of a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500, since it blinks and does not allow the vehicle to start, besides how could the data bus to the PCM bypassing the cluster , I would appreciate if you could guide me to resolve the situation, thanks in advance, Regards.

    Just watching your video now.. Have you ever encountered a 1999 Lexus gs300 with an immobilizer amp intermittent malfunction? At least an older Lexus with that issue?

    First rule of smart car ownership: Have more than one key. Not doing so is just predictable disaster some day.
    One of recent cars didn't use a chip, although many people thought the bump on the key was a chip. It is not, it is one of 15 possible resistors that must match what the BCM is expecting. I used to keep a spare door key in my wallet and an ignition key inside. I could lose my entire key ring and still get home.

    If you don't have an original 'chipped' key. Missed the part about 'How' the new flushable database interface is 'flashed' with the proper 'secret code' that the computer needs to let the car start.

    I know you have alot of comments on this post about if this woyld work for each persons car. I was wondering if a toggle push start button would bypass the need for a key or if it is even possible to link in your relay system with the push start.

    your relay is wired incorrectly. 30 is always the high power or ground input. 87a would be a pass through when the relay is not energized by 85 and 85. when energized the 87a pass through is cut and power or ground is sent to 87.

      Hey i just bought a chrdaa ( 99cirrus) transponder bypass/ alarm/door control module im having trouble wiring this thing up to my car. I found the ig2 wire and ive only taken small nicks at wiring connector only splicing what i think is only necessary for getting around the transponder start but i cannot get it to disactivate the antitheft system. there is a step where it says hold it up to the igniton circle but my skim reader is busted for sure now since i started tinkering with it. does this affect the bypass module i dont want to splice up alot of wiring so far ive tapped into ig2 and two of the alarm wires but still no start just crank over and nothing else. can you please help.

    Any thoughts on defeating the immobilizer on a 2004 dodge/Mercedes sprinter? I went to the websites you mentioned and did not find anything that would fit my vehicle.

    Do locksmith work myself and people always grumble that they have to pay to much for the training I’ve been keeping myself up on for 30+ yrs. I politely tell them you’re paying for training/experience/knowledge not my time.
    The look on their face when they realize you can’t just learn it in the two minutes it takes to do the job.
    They don’t want to pay I just reverse what I did and walk away. Generally when they realize their vehicle will be in same instance from when I arrived they change their tune
    Off to do a 2006 Hummer H3 to turn security off in the pcm as the dreaded passlock anti theft issues, then a 1977 Fiat Spyder ignition switch replacement and replace and reprogram immo module for a 2009 Mazda 5. Hopefully I won’t be gone to long.

    thank you for all the Information , now i shall go and get the kit and crank our beloved Betsy ( 2001 Nissan pathfinder SUV ) been sleeping in the yard for the past 3 yrs , time to get her new tires and flush fuel tank and lines and engine , radiator ,e.t. c . because my girlfriend lost the only original key she had , and i have been looking for simple solution to this problem . and i found it here .
    this will save me over $798 USD .
    I have one question to ask knowing Nissan uses CAN bus system , thanks in advance :
    do you think according to PDF catalog the IM05 class is best since i have no key at all ?

    how we can get in contact. is possible to eliminate the immo in a 1998 toyota? or check if the system is working ? according to the factory wire diagram the communication bettween immo module and ecu is by two wires. the signal from those wires can be check? any voltage, ground?

    u have great information maybe try this one. i have a 1993 camaro v6 3.4l. i lost thr key so i took the lock cylinder out i can turn the key over no start. i bought a baker electronix vats bypass module. the instructions say attach the wire from bypass module to dark blue fuel enable wire coming out of the vats module on the car. my module has both 30z and 50z i hooked everything up like they told me it atarts and runs for 3 secs and dies. any ideas on how to completly bypass all the way around or am i hooking it up wrong or another location to install the module at

    In this video you sound like you know about this stuff pretty well. SUB'd
    Question: I have a 1996 Ford E-150 5.8l with the antitheft system acting up. The alarm system has no transponder key or key fob. To arm the "alarm" (horns, flashing lights) you have to lock the driver's door with the door lock switch. This switch has not worked in the last 8-9 of the 11 years I've owned the vehicle. About three weeks ago the alarm started going off intermittently both while driving and while parked.
    My question is... what could be causing this and how do I fix or bypass it? According to my Haynes repair manual wiring diagrams fuse 7 goes to this module as well as... the power train control module, shift lever position sensor, the park/neutral position switch, the starter relay, and the starter motor/solenoid. There is no picture or replacement/test directions anywhere in the manual for the anti-theft module. I don't know where it is or what it looks like, so even though the diagram looks like it could be simply bypassed, (schematic shows the same circuit both with and without this module).
    Any help or direction you could give would be greatly appreciated.

      If you have the manual, or access to one, the manual is Haynes #36904, the diagram is on page 12-24.

    Sir, I thank you very much for you sharing your knowledge, and being a decent & kind businessman, not demanding payment, but asking us to reciprocate in like manner. Kudos to you brother! I would like to make 2 requests or suggestions if I may. I'm in my mid 50s & maybe its from listening to too much loud music, but I'm having a terrible time trying to understand your enunciation. I believe it may be due to the pitch of your voice & the fairly empty room with hard walls & surfaces causing such a tinny echo of your well projecting voice. If I may be so bold, I'd like to suggest either a wireless Microphone that could be plugged into your video camera, or even a hardwired microphone. It would improve not only the tonal, but the resonance and slight echo we hear, that actually degrades your voice sir. I have watched parts of your video 2 and 3 times, trying to gleen from the valuable insight you have to offer. I even went so far as to turn on the CLOSED CAPTION to understand. I still don't know exactly the websites you suggest 5 minutes into the video. I appologize for being so long winded, I just wanted u to know I we appreciate your efforts, and I did not want to sound rude or snobbish. Thank you sir.

    Hey nice video I bought a 2001 ranger 3 weeks ago I have three keys to it the previous owner said he had to put new computer and get keys for the truck before it ran find now no crank I turn one key to start position theft blinks rapidly the other two keys the left light goes off after 3 seconds still no crank battery is good I can hear the fuel pump air bag light now reads off when truck ran air bag light was on could it be the keys/ ignition problem or the computer/pats can a locksmith repair problem or is it a take it to the dealership situation will I eventually need to buy the set up you described in your you tube video if you can respond I appreciate the help Thanks

    I've changed my ignition out so it bypassed the skim ,but my alarm still kicks on.I purchased the Xpresskit CHALL along with the correct harness ,will I have to make a connection with the relay still?

    Excellent video. One question, I have a 04 Mustang with a 3.9L engine. My pcm crashed and I'm replacing it with a refurbished pcm already programmed to my VIN. They told me that the PATS would be the only thing needed to be flashed so my car would start. So will this video work, would I be able to start my car using this method and not having my keys/fobs flashed to the pcm? Thanks

    Hi I have a 2005 jeep Cherokee a SG liberty and she broke down 3 years ago. When I had a technician put a computer on it. It come up with the ignition is not responding with the ecu the ecu is not responding with the body module and more. But when I turn the ignition on the fuel pump comes on but the immobiliser won't disengage and the only way I can get her to to turn over is by touching the live from the battery to the relay slot for the starter. Now jeep UK has estimated close to £3000 for all the parts and that's twice the value of the jeep and it's a shame to scrap it it's only done 70000 miles is there some way I can get her going for penny's? I have both Keyes.

    Thanks for the video, but none of the links appear to work, they just give a long list of unrelated products. It would be nice to have the description say exactly what part you are attempting to link to. Also there are many "bipass" modules with many features. I have no clue what specific feature I need to do what I would like to do. I want to be able to use a non-chipped key to start and run a Toyota Corolla 2008 (manual locks). I DO NOT need remote start. I have working chipped keys and the car works fine right now. Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

      Thanks for the clarification, but as it turns out I don't need the part because I thought I could reduce the EMF in the car by removing the antenna/reader round loop. A simple test showed that the EMF must be coming from some other places. Do you happen to know what components do that and if they can be shielded. I'm getting readings of 15 or more with the tri-field meter in the driver's seat.

    I have a 2006 Chevy Malibu. My key got broke the tip broke off to be exact. I had a locksmith cut me a knew key, but my car refuses to work with the newly cut key and now won't even recognize the old transponder chip in the old key that use to crank it and run. Now the Security light remains lit all the time. It doesn't blink it just remains lit and no matter how long I leave the key turned to on the light doesn't go off so I can not program any keys for it. It will crank up and cuts back off after about 10-15 seconds. I am at my wits end with this. How can I start my car and it stay running longer than 10-15 seconds?

    Ok im having tge same issue for weeks now ive been daignosing trying to figure out why the coil packs werent getting spark..the engine would crank but no spark, fuses ,relays are all good ..so now its come to this the egnition switch...i just ordered a new complete ignition switch w/key for a 3.5 altima now if i install it will this resolve my issue or does the computer/ecm need to be programmed to that specific ignition..im hoping to just bolt it in plug it in and it just be ready for use..lmk wat u think thank u!

    I’m having the right no fire scenario in my 2000 Ford F150 4.6 right I wrote the transponder underneath the dash do I need to replace the one around the ignition and then thmblrer or can I just replace the immobilizer around the timber or do I need to replace the whole system

    thank you very much for your video, i hope you can help me with my car, its jeep liberty 2012, without a proper knowledge from me exceeded the 5 times try of the sentry key, and now the car wont crank at all, and the red indicator under the braking light is flashing while im trying to turn on or during turning on the ignition key, so how to reset this and, by the way this is all because i think my sentry key is faulty or something i don't know, but if i could just rest it back so i can diagnose the key issue it would be great

    hmm it sounds good. but i don't understand. In your example old mate doesn't have a key with a chip in it. how does your bypass kit know what frequency to send the signal to the computer?
    and what is the go with the relay? it seems that the whole bypass system wouldn't take too many amps. it seems obsolete. or is that the proper way to do it?

      Because its a alarm type system hook up , and has about 95% of all it need to start it , if you fall in to the 5% your screwed , its as simple as that

    hi i sure hope you are still doing your thing online.. ive done my homework i just need one main question answered that i cant seem to find a cut dry answer.. WITH NO KEYS..     If I have a dummy key and therefore can turn the key switch to the on position can I bypass the need for the transponder chip if I jump the starter relay? What I'm asking is will the car still start even though I don't have the chip programmed if I jump it through the starter relay?

    Idk if you can help me but i have a 02 dakota i just bought. As soon as i open the door all the lights start blinking and the horn beeps like the anti theft is going off but my truck still starts up and runs. Im having trouble figuring out the issue..... Any ideas as to the problem or a solution?

    I had to remove my ignition switch because key quit turning. After re-installing it the immobilizer will not let the car start. It ois a 2003 Toyota Sequoia and has almost 300000 miles on it so it is not worth much. I can not afford to buy a new computer for it and do not have much money to put into it. There has to be a way I can disable the immobilizer or whatever it is that will no longer let the motor start. I just want my key to start the car like keys did before all this computer stuff. Can you tell me how to start and use MY OWN 2003 SEQUOIA?

      king necio i have a factory recall bulletin (Technical Service Bulletin TSB) from GM, that applies to any, and ALL 98-99 GM truck/suv applications from an s10 to an escalade. I successfully bypassed my 98 s10 with this Technical Service Bulletin. I can email you a PDF, or I could look up the ID number of the TSB(which Im gonna go ahead and find/post in this comment.) Last winter I didnt have this info yet, and i was able to revive an 02 Caddy Deville. Buut i had to find a donor car at the local junkyard, bought and swapped out the steering column, body control module, the powertrain control module, and the rear integration module. And that car is still on the road today. But if you go that route id get the factory radio from the donor vehicle as well because its programmed to all that as well, and it locks itself. Now this TSB procedure is muuch easier, it includes wiring diagrams for ever GM truck/suv for 98-99. Funny thing is it’s basically the same procedure on all, just the pin of the wire youre splicing into changes vehicle to vehicle. But there is the main steering column to instrument panel wiring harness in line connector. Next you find the YELLOW PASSLOCK DATA WIRE(circuit#1836) which is pin#D3 on the female steering column inline harness connector. Now you splice in 2 short pieces of 20guage yellow wire to the contacts of a single position switch, then splice,solder, and heatshrink the switch into the YELLOW PASSLOCK DATA wire PIN#D3 that will disconnect the passlock circuit wire in the ON position, so you can remote start it, and the OFF position makes the passlock function normally. They recommend hiding or mounting the switch on or under the dash, so that dont interfere with normal operation. That was how the s10 worked, and i had success with it on my personal project truck. Funny thing i saw in that TSB is GM recommends doing that to any 98 or 99 truck/suv. Hope this will help alotta people out, and save them all the countless hours I had to waste scouring different forums for close to a week lol! Anywho you should be able to google GM Truck Group UI Bulletin#26. I guess it covers all the way to 2006, and also covers vans.

    I took a cal amp lmu0200cv off of a 2008 mustang. It will no longer start and car padlock light flashes when I turn key. I suspect Pat's. Can this be bypassed?

    Ok I'm desperate! I'm trying to figure on 2002 Chevy avalanche. I've tried every bypass on this truck on TH-cam and websites to no avail. The light stays on continuous when key is not in ignition and even when doing relearn process. I just want to disable the system security completely. There are NO videos on this vehicle. Thanks if you can help with video or writing back, thanks. Been dealing with this for a month! Desperate! I don't have the funds to have mechanic fix this with diagnostic tool.

    97 Ford F 150. Starter motor will not turn over...After trying to start, the interior dome light blinks and can hear a blinker module (?) under the dash blinking...I assume this is the anti theft system...Will a bypass module work and where do I get one?

    my 1997 mustang gt has a problem starting. it cranks, the engine is on and then immediately dies. tried many times to start but same issue. Also, the oil pressure gauge goes crazy up and down when i try starting the car.
    i thought it was pats at first, tried few procedures to re set the system but to no avail. since my theft lights is off all the time, i am not sure is pats (unless the theft light is fused). Other thing i noticed is that i could not open my door with the key itself only with remote. after few tries finally managed, thought this could reset the theft system but still the same problem, car shuts off soon after starting.. what could it be?

    have a 1999 dodge caravan- with a bad BCM- Dodge dealer told me cannot be fixed sale the van for parts. i love my DODGE i cannot start my own van due to being locked out from starting . anyway i can by-pass the security lock-down of the starter from being grounded so it will start ? thanks

    Today my 98 suburban start but turn off, i diagnose all the engine components and was good, the terminal 21 on the fuse ( security ) had no courrent, i jump a wire to the terminal and the problem was solved, now terminal 21 have voltage, this is controled by the transponder, the vats or? the bypass kit will solve? thank`s

    Is there anyway to disable an anti theft system on a 98 Buick park. The fuel pump was replaced along with the battery and alternator. The car starts but doesn't crank. Also the security light flashes. Is there a way to put in a toggle switch to turn the alarm system on and off manually. If u can help me I would so appreciate it

    Obviously you are very knowledgeable and in trying to get everything in your head across there was just way too much talking rather than getting to the point of how the system actually works. The theory is explained fairly well in the video but no piratical. The drawing shows one wire going from the relay to the bypass module and one wire from the bypass to the computer. Where do the other wires from the bypass go and how do I know which one goes to the computer and where/how does it connect to the computer?

    I hope I'm not out of line saying this on someone else's channel, but there is a much simpler solution. On nearly all Ford and GM vehicles, we can permanently delete the anti-theft system for under 100 bucks. Instead of using junk aftermarket modules to try and send a fake "OK to start" signal to the PCM, we can simply tell the PCM that this vehicle doesn't have a passive anti-theft system. At that point, the PCM enables the injectors and starts the car every time, with zero concern for what the anti-theft module wants it to do.
    Yes, I am saying unequivocally that we can permanently delete Ford PATS/SecuriLock and GM VATS/PassLock on maybe 90% of vehicles. As these Ford and GM vehicles start approaching 20 years old, we see all kinds of anti-theft failures. They're difficult to diagnose, expensive to fix, you can't really get around them, and sometimes the parts needed to repair them are obsolete/unavailable, or excessively expensive. You can't hardly program one key for what I can delete the system for. Once it's deleted in the PCM, the vehicle will start with a $2 all steel hardware store key, even if all of the anti-theft components are missing or broke.

    I have a dodge van and just glued(crazy glue) and taped my one chip key close to the egnition and now I can use any a non chip key,can't get any cheaper way of doing it

    Hey will this work on a 94 Ford Mustang with a 4.6L engine in it. I have a Walmart copy of a key that came with the car put the pats system keeps shutting the engine down and won’t let me start it for more then a couple seconds. Need your help buddy plz.

    Hi I have a 1999 buick lesabre custom and I have tried to get the vats pass key II disabled I set my ohm meter to 20k checked my key it reads 2.34 I have made resister collabos with 2.33, 2.32, 2.40 but it doesn't work I cut the orange wire from the steering column which has two thin white wires in it I attached all my collabos to the 2 white wires closest to the engine not the steering column but none of them worked any advice? thanks

      sounds like youre dead on, try leaving the key on with the new resistor inline for 30 minutes, try and force the bcm to learn the new resistance.

Oh I just sodered my new collabo which is 2.33 I sodered 16 gage speaker wire to the ends and heat shrinked the middlle part still workin when it wants to? very frustrating!
