After watching so many videos, and just when I was about to hire someone to connect my system, I found you. Thank you for explaining it the way you do. Much appreciated.
Ive connected using aux and rca jacks on other end how could I use one remote to control volume at least instead of receiver for receiver and tv or tv?
If I have x2 scart devices plugged in the tv (PlayStation 2&3 ) then connect one of these amplifiers to the tv as shown in your video will the ps2&ps3 have sound coming out of the separately connected speakers ????
This d best .. After i wasted time watching lousy tutorial. Finally then thanks God . owe u big time .I'll try tomorrow but anyway thanks in advance . 🙏🏻
That's what my setup is right now, but I noticed that the audio output gets easily louder when I use the tv volume, while my amplifier volume setting is at it's minimum. Is this okay or should I lower the tv volume and increase my amplifier's volume to get a better sound?
After watching this video I understand that I can follow the same steps to connect my turntable to my amplifier and then to my speakers. My amplifier has bare speakers wire sockets and my speakers only RCA input. Can I connect these two directly?
is the quality of the sound coming out of TV through analog audio out noticeably worse than coming out from HDMI arc or optical out ? Would you be able to hear the difference?
From what I understand, typically rca doesn’t provide volume control. So I would go with aux 3.5mm jack as there will be a better chance of controlling volume. And as for speakers I would use a dedicated amp. Built in amps are great for portability only. A dedicated amp allows for more potential/flexibility.
Hello, thanks for the video. How could I get the amp to switch ON/OFF automatically when I power the TV ON/OFF, please ? I have an old-fashioned amp (no HDMI or optical input) btw. Any HDMI powered relay switch out there would you know?
@@SimpleCafeE A new Samsung smart tv- I guess it is smarter than I am! Only audio output on the back is a digital port..I guess? a small square connector that plugs in tv but it doesn't feel right- like its not going in? It is marked audio out- and I have went into tv settings and as far as I can tell they are turned on. Also using a digital/analog convertor. Thanks. Email?
@@SimpleCafeE Samsung tv has Toshlink only- hooking this to a new Mini-amp I purchased then hooking external speakers to mini=-amp but still no sound. Thanks
My panasonic TV has HDMI ARC, but sadly my new amplifier that has HDMI sudenly broken. So the only option that i can do to choose audio out on my TV are Digital out and 3.5M Headphone out. But sadly my old Sony Hifi amplifier home theather only has RCA audio in no digital/optical in. I Have a RCA cable and Headphone cable to RCA audio very cheap. Just try it, yes it can. So from TV i plug the headphone out then conect to my sony Hifi amplifier with RCA red and white cable in. It works. But i hope it doesnt effect the TV or sony amplifier for long time due i i conect from headphone out to RCA audio in. Do you think it safe ? Thanks
@@SimpleCafeE It works, as the TV manual book. There is option cable 3.5mm to RCA audio out. But yah ya, sometime need to restart. Not so smooth as HDMI ARC. Dont know why. Hope not because 3.5mm headphone out hole not rust or something due i never use it since new 4 years ago.

Hi Arun, are you referring to an Optical cable?
What is the better from TV to Speakers? Aux or Line out (3,5 mm jack) or rca or optical to Speakers? Speakers inbuilt amplifier.

Hi Mario, my pleasure. There isn’t over I know of. I think your best bet would be hooking up something like an Alexa.
@@SimpleCafeE Thank you Sir! Great idea! So, some Alexa activated socket switch, whatever they are called...!??
Yea and you can program it to turn on several devices with just one command
@@SimpleCafeE Excellent idea! "Alexa, switch on the telly!" ...and both TV and soundbar come alive thanks to a Tp-link Tapo plug!

Renegade don't you just plug your Mic into your Amplifier and away you go mine has Mic ports on the back of Amp.
If we have 6 speakers what should we do ???
I’m assuming those are passive speakers. Well hopefully you have or can find an amp with 6 speaker ports! Do you have a home theater system?

Preamp recommend bcs 3.5mm output is too weak for any normal amplifuer especially if you have radio FM/AM tuner attached to it.
Thanks for sharing B-MG!
thank you...i did it...

I can't stand it when people are to lazy to pronounce words correctly. It's NOT aux=ox cable it's auxiliary.
