I love this so much
I have probably too many animals, but it just keeps me going everyday seeing them just be happy and loved, and remembering that with me they get a safe cozy life free from the woes of most wild animals.
really makes me appreciate not having to worry about survival, something I think a lot of us take for granted.
Please someone give this beautiful guy the good home he deserves and update us!

That makes me sick the way that animal was treated. When I was a single mother my pets were never starving. My recent rescue cat was brought to the shelter at 3 months old and was in the shelter for 8 months. She's the sweetest cat that I've had. I don't know why nobody adopted her but I'm glad we have her now.

With that big golden brown half head marking, he looks just like my dear sweet doggie Spot, who lived a long happy life, but sadly passed a few years back. He too was such a sweet gentle soul, and I still miss him.

I have been following this animal shelter for years and Floki’s story since he was rescued and brought into their care. My own dog was rescued by Charlene and the wonderful people who volunteer at this shelter.
I am normally don’t post comments on social media, but I am appalled by the comments people are making. ‘She should just keep him” “what’s one more” “why are you locking him back up in a cage at the shelter” … this is not what has happened nor what has been happening. Everyone’s situation is different and it’s rude to assume things.
This story is about Floki, his gentle kind heart, his bounce back to good health - thanks to people like Charlene.
I wish Floki all the best because he deserves it ❤❤❤
If I see anyone saying "she should just keep him," I'm gonna ask them why they themself don't step up and adopt him.

This is a well balanced dog. His tail is never up indicating he not once went into the alpha mode. I would have him in a heartbeat, but I live in London with three cats who had never lived with a dog. Wishing this good boy a speedy adoption.

as a foster myself, ive had a pup with some challenges for more than 1.5yrs & the rescue i work with is just having the hardest time getting pups adopted, & as i look around at other ones it's the same story, i wish him all the best in finding his home
