Les gooo! 🔥
Yes! That place you passed when fighting with angels was the Harvest Valley - DS2 area, as well as the arena you fought twin demons - it was the Firelink Shrine from DS1.
NO WAY it looked familiar haha so cool!!
Did not expect an upload so fast with how brutal the DLC is! Took me weeks and weeks and I wasn't even recording it, you’re so strong!
Les gooo! It was quite brutal and I'm honestly surprised I got this done for today haha
Note to self: Weird angels in DS3 are dic*s. Drop a like to the vid if you're enjoying the chaos!
I'm sure you already figured this out before I type it, but there are "normal" enemies you can kill to remove them. Before that, though, they are 100% annoying and ruin the area!
@@nezkeys79 yeah I figured that out but didn't find all of those 🥲
@mmeiruplays yeah its hard to focus your surroundings when they're spamming you with laser beams, lol
Praise the Sun \[T]/
@@SANcTUS1HELLga always 🙌☀️
Ahhh, I can't wait to watch this chaos later 😂
Les goooo babyy!
Fun fact, the demon prince's second phase depends on which demon ascends. The first one you kill disappears and the second one transforms. You kept killing demon from below first so demon in pain was always the one to transform. And in my opinion, transformed demon from below is way more fun. 😁
Soulsborne players: Miyazaki-sama, how many times will you troll us?
Miyazaki: Yes
For real 😂😂😂 He never stops
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
😂 “no” 🗡️ “no” 🗡️ “nooo!” 🗡️ nice of that pyromancer invader to get punishment for being annoying in DS2 and here!
For the chaos and hell of this DLC start, you handle it so well and with excitement.
Your expressions to the eclipse, scenery, the flying OoK 🤣🫣 it’s incredible. Top tier playing, commentary and engagement.
Thank you!! I NEED that eclipse tattooed on my skin for real. Can't wait to continue this masterpiece!
@@mmeiruplaysand that view of The Ringed City as you fly up! FromSoftware just wondering how they could ever top the discovery of Anor Londo…and Miyazaki here is just like “here hold my feet/beer” and bam. The Ringed City
Yes! I'm so ready for this. 😊
Prepare for chaos 😂
Also FYI, the Demon Prince’s arena is the original Firelink Shrine, and Earthen Peak Ruins has the remnants of that location in DS2.
EVERYONE! 🙏🏼 please do not mention the bosses in this DLC or the main game final. This is a blind playthrough and all you do is ruin it by commenting with a spoiler. Let her see the chaos for herself
Fun fact: The bosses of the better and second ''Ringed City' DLC are heavily inspired by 'Shin Godzilla.'
Fun fact - Demon Prince’s movesets in the 2nd phase is entirely dependent on which demon you killed first. If you kill the one in pain first, you get the fireball moveset, but if you kill the one from below first, you get the laser moveset.
Lore fact - These are the last demons alive in the entire world, and by killing then you have fully put a race to extinction. Great job, and can’t wait to see your adventures in the Ringed City!
1:20:50 this is so classic😹😹a warm welcome, hah!😸
that was so fast win lady, wow🔥
I have a feeling they don't want me to enter the Ringed City 🤣🤣
@@mmeiruplays News spreads so fast in this city, and u just killed the Demon Prince, so...😹
The demon prince borrows an idea from the Ornstein & Smough fight, depending on the first demon that is taken down the last demon will become the demon prince and use a moveset based on the abilities it had in the first phase(one gets more fire attacks while the other gets more poison attacks similar to how Smough gets lightning attacks if Ornstein is killed first and how Ornstein becomes a giant if Smough is killed first)
Ohhh okay that's cool!!
After being through hell in Ariendel, welcome to the Ringed City (hell 2.0). Great fight with the demons. Most people expect a break after defeating Friede and instead get a welcoming reception designed to smash everyone's dreams. It's still the beginning of the area, so a lot more to explore. Congratulations, once again, for the 2K.
You can really tell how much Miyazaki was inspired by Berserk when making Dark Souls and Elden Ring.
I know nothing of Berserk :( It's on my list tho!
@@mmeiruplays you should check it. one of the best written fictional story ever. extremely sad and depressing tho
Hi! I am no-one and I watch your videos.. thanks for mentioning me in this video, it was a big moment for me 🥳
Unique boss. I recently learned that his fireballs count as enemies that casts a spell and will attack the skull if you throw it. And yeah his second phase are different. =)
Great video as usual 👍
im actually glad you fought the demon prince with the Zweihander, Claymore would've taken wayyyy to long 😵
Congratzzzzz on 2000 :) I hope you wil get alot more! One day in the future they may name a Happy Zweihander day after you haha I hope so ;)
Thank you!! :) Hahaha we DEF need a Zweihander day for real!
Most feel your pain. first Sister Friede then The Dreg Heap is quite BS to tackle first time around. Miyazaki really tests your patience there. You handled The Demon Prince fairly quickly. Congrats on 2k! Thanks for your editing work.
GG nice reading of the bossfight with the demon prince, Lorian lost his legs against him, we lost only 9 estus flasks! Angels sucks really bed in DS3 indeed. Finally mei welcome to the Ringed City! were all the timelines and all the world converge somethings moving down there! 🗡
Thank you!! :) The Ringed City looks phenomenal I can't wait to explore it!
It took me two sessions to watch, I was so tired last night, but here were are. Praise the Dark Soul!
Glad you met Lapp, I though you were gonna miss him and his questline, which is my second favorite in DS3, only after Onion Knight's. But it's a little complicated. I will tell you what you need to do next, without spoilers. There are 8 steps, you just did step one, and there are steps 2 to 4, which you must do in the area you just cleared, but first, how to get rid of the other two angels:
ANGELS: You can kill the summoners if you explore the ROOFTOPS on the branches above this swamp (before you encounter the Desert Pyromancer), and if you follow another branch that goes down, right before you take the plunge to the next Bonfire, where you can't go back from.
LAPP:
-You need to go back to Earthen Peak and talk to Lapp there.
-Go ahead where the angels attack in the poison swamp, and where there's the Omen-like monster, explore (on the same swamp, and around a corner there's another "Omen" protecting an item; take the item).
-Talk to Lapp again. Now you can proceed and follow his questline in the following areas.
Thank you for the tips Vaga they were very helpful!
@@mmeiruplays Alright, Mmei. I'll just mention the basic steps and locations:
5. Ringed City Inner Wall bonfire. There's a balcony here, Lapp is there.
6. Ringed City Streets bonfire. This is a puzzle that it is almost impossible to solve by ourselves, 99.99% of players must google it, I will give the answer at the end, but as a hint, there is a wall past the door this bonfire with a message about showing humanity. It has to do with using an item that transforms your appearance. Once you solve it, a new path is available to explore; you must find a monument where you can pray; this little area is a little maze, but you will recognize the monument.
7. From the Monument, go towards a church dome that is very visible, and past it, drop down. There's a little room and Lapp is in a chair. Tell him about the monument. You can talk to him before you find the monument but only when you find it, you can tell him about it.
8. Shared Grave bonfire. There is a ruined staricase, and you will see rubble that seems impassable but you can walk on it and find a room. Lapp is there. He will give you some instructions, do as he says.
Bonus: If you do all these steps, you can summon him for a weird boss fight.
PUZZLE:
Go to the swamp outside the Streets bonfire, on the water use a White Branch (grandma sells these branches) or the spell Chameleon; you need to transform into a Humanity, so maybe you need to use it more than once. Once you are transformed, go back to the wall with the inscription.
@@mmeiruplays Alright, Mmei. I will avoid spoilers, just will tell the basic info you need.
5. Ringed City Inner Wall bonfire. There's a hallway next to it, and a balcony, . Lapp is in the balcony. He will repeat he's looking for something.
6. Ringed City Streets bonfire. Past a door there's a wall with an inscription about humanity. It's a puzzle, I will give the solution at the end if you wanna try it by yourself. It has to do with an item you never use, or a spell that has the same effect. -- When you solve it, you will find a new small area to explore, it's a little maze and it's connected to previous areas, but only through the puzzle you can access this place. There is a monument here where you can pray.
7. In the opposite direction is a church dome, go past it and drop down (careful, land on the ledge), and there's a room there, Lapp is there. Tell him about the monument.
8. Shared Grave bonfire. There's a big enemy that stands out, it really stands out. Past him, you enter what looks like a mine from the outside (wooden structure entrance), there's a stone staircase; to the right you can drop and find a room. Lapp is there. Follow his indications to end his quest.
Bonus: You can summon Lapp to the next boss, which is a fun thing to do.
Puzzle: This puzzle can't be solved unless someone else tells you (well, kind of). When you read the inscription, go back to the swamp outside, kill all the enemies around the entrance so they don't interrupt. You need to use a White Branch (grandma sells them in the Shrine), or the spell Chamaleon. Use it on the water, and you must get morphed into a humanity. If you become something else, walk a few steps and use another. As a Humanity, go back to the wall and a new path will be revealed.
1:20:46 LMAO!
:')
I didn't expect another video so fast ❤
Here we are! ☀️🙌
Honestly a duo boss done right for once. along with twin princes.
I felt bad when you said you needed relaxation....right by the Demon Prince boss fight. Out of the frying pan into the fire lol. Then again, you didn't have too much trouble with the Demon Prince. You did great. By the way, that area you were in that you recognized was the Earthen Peak windmill area in DS2, hence the mushrooms, the pyromancer lady and the green poison.
I can't understand how I didn't realise it was the Harvest Valley 😅 Haha it was a bit intense not gonna lie but I enjoyed this area so much (not the angels tho) and the boss fight was 🔥 So very happy to be back in the game
@@mmeiruplays Yeah, it was a really neat callback to DS2. You're right, it is an intense and well designed area, but one doesn't really get to take it in because the angels have you have you running for your life the whole time. Just a heads up, hidden (some really well hidden) throughout the area are these creatures that are very easy to kill and these creatures are the ones that control the angels kind of like how that one skeleton with the hat in the Catacombs controls the giant skeleton ball. Once they are killed, the angels go away. If you try to kill the angels themselves (and they are very tough to kill), without killing their summoner, they just resummon the angel. Just a heads up if you decide to go back to that area to explore.
He deffo looks terrifying 😎😎😎😎😎
welcome to the ringed city! 🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹
What a nice and warm welcome!
Hey, nice job with the prince, he was the hardest boss for me in my sl1 run. Oh and realisation about what is arena is hit hard (firelink from ds1). I really want to see your struggle with final boss from this dlc, definetly the best from series :>
I don't understand how I didn't realised that haha! Oh I can't wait to fight this on SL1.
The final estus shard is in the Grand Archives. Take the elevator near the entrance to the GA (not Dragonslayer Amour), take a right and then back up to where the three big angel knights ambush you from above. The shard is located on a balcony area towards the back of the area.
Great stuff as usual :) The lightning buff you were using is a bundle, not a resin. Bundles buff quicker and don't last very long. You can get lightning resin from grandma if you want an alternative to fire.
Weirdly most guides suggest to kill Pain first but I always found it easier to kill Below first (the one on the left as I dropped down)
Just passing by to leave a like and wish you a great weekend. I will watch this video later.
Thank you!! Have a chill weekend 🙌☀️
Great job on the demon prince Meiru, love your reactions to seeing the new environments for the first time ❤
Thank you Hollow! This game is so precious and beautiful
I came across your LPs by chance. Excitingly edited/cutted and very fun to watch :) Keep it up!
Nice to have you here! Thank you!! :)
Black Knight weapons make the Demon Prince fight a lot easier.
I had a maxed out Black Knight Glaive and it's damage was no better than Vordts Hammer. I found this happened with every demon I fought so never used the back knight weapons
Funny thing: The dude that throw you in the paint could be summoned against Friede, but he appears only in the second fase
Difficult but enjoyable battle (unlike some other bosses in this DLC), lol
You are so good! And beautiful too!!
Those crits on the Demon Prince! 🤘
🔥🔥
I still struggle to beat these boss on SL1 :D
Believe it or not those Angels were way worse on the games release, the spamming was almost constant. They got quite heavily nerfed in the first patch.
don't do it,,,, don't do it,,,,
Fire weapon buff on fire Demon Prince XDDD
worth it
Totally worth it 🙌
Best duo boss in the series
It was SO good!!
Love your accent. So gorgeous ❤
Proud of my 6 tries that cost me to beat demon prince in my first playthrough
Walking of the ledge here at 26:20 is not the answer. Sprinting off is.
HAHAHA 🤣
@@mmeiruplays It's funny because it's true.

Time to experience one of the coolest DLCs in this game...I literally go back to Dark Souls 3 to play this again. Get ready for another adventure!
Also: Little fun fact, the place where you fight the Demon prince is technically Firelink Shrine from Dark Souls 1.
I'm so ready!
I beat Frieda at level 48 and the demon princes at level 50 and I have the screenshots to prove it.
Some people beat all DS3 Bosses at negative level (mod) and many people beat them no-hit at level 1.
But congrats, you are good.👏
@@suchar7175 ya I'm not THAT good, but I was still pretty proud to do it at low level.
@@ScottNetherstone maybe you are, who knows. I recommend you to test your limits further, you can try at level 40, then at level 30 and someday at level 1. Challenge runs in Souls games are really satisfying and show you that (almost) everything is possible.
Does the painter chick say anything new at the end of the dlc?
Woops I forgot she exists 😅🤣
New class: painter
@@mmeiruplays you might also want to speak again to the old lady at the dreg heap, I think she didn't let you hear all her dialogues yet (maybe exploring the dreg heap was necessary for that ? I'm not sure)
There is one more boss in the regular game that you have not met yet worser then the nameless
I often hear you Mmeiruplays talk to your Main Language but cannot decipher it !!! What is this Main Language please and thank you
Haha it's Finnish! :)
