  • #Execution - #Taxation - #CivilWar and child #murder are amongst many of the #historical stories to be told of #HeskinHall. Now adorned with #antiques and used as a venue to tie the knott its hard to believe some of the #horror's that took place here but if we delve a little deeper into its #history Heskin Hall will reveal its ugly face.

The stone at the end seems to be a part of a cider press, the circular groves channel at the end for the juice to flow out, two larger holes are used for wooden polls for the top section cork screw. Thanks for the look around.

Went to a wedding last night here and it had a certain vibe about it, looking in at the windows from the out side. Was shocked to see this on your channel but I have seen more of the building that what I seen on the day 46:00 at them windows from the back is what I’m saying.
I’ve watched many of your videos and I still believe the st. Thomas church was the best one you have done. I live in Leigh and I went to that church as a kid but the view from the top of the church and you can see Manchester beaming is one of the most beautiful sights you have done.

Absolutely superb film Jay. Professionalism. The building from outside shots looked even bigger, huge. The ancient tree stood so majestic and as that old. Trees seem bear some relevance with sacrificial things, religion etc. was the stone outside to do with. Sacrifices or some religious worshipping ? Not sure. Was Matilda hung cos knew a secret they didn’t want her tell ? The. Wooden doorframe with some sort cutout indentations, was it perhaps somewhere back then in another room used as beheading ? Or groove marks to place hands ? I’ve never been there or heard of the hall ? Very much doubt I will have pleasure of visiting it, but if did I would most DEFINATELY get you that well earned and very much earned pint !!!!!!!!!! a fantastic film Jay. Tops !! Di.

Great meeting yourself and your lad at the Hall today Clarky. And thanks for the personal tour. Also great to see 'The Gary' and family and Rick too. Excellent video to watch and reiterates what you told me today but seeing it in person makes the video even more relevant. You've got the knack to create an oozing atmosphere in your vids and look forward to seeing your future work.
Great idea about the subscriber jaunts out and I'd be well interested in the Woolton Hall visit if my shifts permit (after August that won't matter). You've really nailed the spooky 70's horror look with that ending. There was a series I watched as a kid in the 70's. The music was terrifying. th-cam.com/video/6mzH7Ulp2gc/w-d-xo.html
