    My daughter wants a poncho, after searching many tutorials, I really like how clear and concise you make your videos. I am on a project now, but I can't wait to get started making this. I have so much scrap yarn, and really wanted to do something worthwhile with it, now I can make poncho's in a variety of colors...using various yarn weights. Oh, and that idea about how to keep the chain straight is 'brilliant'. To be honest, that is what so confused me when I would watch other tutorials.

      My son wants one too, do I do the chain reduced by 20? So chain 90 instead of 110 or 130? He's a child's size 10 so I don't need an adult size...

      May I ask, if the sizing is based on height. Or size the lady wears? I have two to make. Thank you

    • @JonnaMartinezCrochet
      @JonnaMartinezCrochet  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Effie Piggott I’m not really sure how it’s biased. But the way it wears it will accommodate many sizes.
      It really depends on how it fits over the recipients head.
      Mine came out very loose.
      Thank you for watching and commenting!

    • @effie8993
      @effie8993 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for the quick reply. I just noticed when I read the pattern that there was a comment on height. So I figured that’s how it was sized. I’m making one for someone who is quite short. But is concerned with her size. She finds ponchos quite long. And recommendations would be great. Thank you

    thank you so much! if i want to make the neck smaller, how many chains do you suggest? it's for a medium so it still needs to be long, just not sure how many to chain for the 1st row.

    So you just leave the chain part has the neck seems a little loose but it is super easy easiest one I found thank you

    Hey there
    Finally dug out my yarn.
    I’m not a good pattern reader, so your tutorial is fantastic!
    I was wondering, if every round starts and finishes at the original joining?
    I’m finding each round, it moves one block of 3dc with each round.
    Is that supposed to happen?
    Thank you again

    Just started this one, love how simple the pattern is and your tutorial is super easy to follow as always! Was wondering whether it would make sense to make an extra row of single crochets as the finishing row?

    • @JonnaMartinezCrochet
      @JonnaMartinezCrochet  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it would look beautiful with an extra row if single crochet!

    First and foremost thank you so much for the video. I was wanting to know for the bigger sizes of the Poncho when you make the increase where abouts do you do it for the bigger sizes. say i had 170 chain where do i make the increase for the points?
