I’m a lvl 26 saboteur an I focused a lot into agility and it’s easy to quickly jump from one enemy to another without getting hit. Feels really smooth too

I didn’t know anything about classes, perks or breeds when I started my journey so I just picked the ones I thought were coolest looking. Ended up with a Rex Commando. However for the second playthrough I think I will choose the Sentinel class actually, because I like to ”mix and match” the combat and based on what I just heard you say, it’s a good all-around class. I liked your video a lot, very informative and well explained.
There is a heal on kill perk that is really nice, found a knife blade with it yesterday, makes mobing pretty easy, and can balance out the survivability of the other classes if you aren't a psyfreak
Psi freak gets really good at about level15. At this stage you'll have a handful of the best spells, plus a decent gun or melee to fill out the energy recharge time. Theres a really good gun mod that adds sawblades plus an element to the damage.. it currently evens out with my magic damage, which is insane! Gun mage for the win!
@@ticozayas6430 so true, mines a fire variant on the semi rifles, crit damage is crazy even for me. Also found a pistol receiver that drops radioactive cluster bombs on contact.. Its such a crazy game.
Playing Psifreak /w dual guns. Love getting all the movement abilities: levitate, blaze, and mucus bubble. Levitate + guns is awesome especially with a large ki pool.
I really enjoy Deadeye. Even with the recent nerfs (sharpshooter going from doubling two-handed gun damage to increasing it by 25%, which was a big ouch; -5% damage bonus from ranged weapon parts), it's still a good time. If anything, I wish that we had a stat that boosted us like psi-freaks (intellect) and melee (strength). We're completely dependent on the crafting system and our crit chance. When you max out your gun in your mid-30s (in a game with 50 levels)... you're done. It's over. Agility will do nothing for you outside raising your movement speed. Luckily, new game plus gives you access to the other class skills and you can get 11 skill points each run via the bandit camps... so you can always snag some other class abilities to flesh out melee or psi powers. (Then the only problem is that while you can gain 30 str, 30 agility, and 30 vitality every playthrough... there aren't any ways to increase luck, charm, or intellect. If you didn't raise intellect from level 1 to 50, you're not doing much with psi powers EVER). Fun game. Coming back once Patch 1.5 drops in the next month or two.
Hey guys just got this on the switch never played and I want to use blades with guns gums for ranged and and still be good with blades of I run out of ammo so what's the best class for that Camando or deadeye
Upgrade bio points into biohazard . The enemies u kill drop a bunch of points. And if your looking for power go with dark auroa the dark psi powers are stronger and better
@@norzza I really like the perks. It makes me a bit tanky. And the ricochet perk procs more often than not. The medic perk gets me to full health quickly and then I go in for melee for the extra dmg. And I "dodge" into smaller enemies frequently for the interrupt. But they really need to make the melee play more attractive for the sentinel so you do something like a healing tank based on melee dmg or something like that. The class has potential, but not when ranged rules overall.
Dead-Eye ranged is really good in early and midgame, but becomes weaker in lategame towards the level cap as you have nothing beside crafting and crit to scale your damage. Psi-Freak power build and Mercenary melee shine in lategame as you can continue to pump up strength and intelligence. I completed my first playthrough with Rex Dead-Eye. The 1% crit chance on Primal and Murgel is not needed as you can easily max out crit chance just from equipment without investing a single point in luck if you want.
@@FireTruck8000 I initially tought this too, but after seeing my combat performance going down in lategame with Dead-Eye because I maxed out crafting and crit chance at around level 30-35 and was still using the same weapons against level 54 enemies and seeing videos on reddit of INT-only Psi-Freak just one-shoting groups and minibosses on hard difficulty, I think there is proof for this. I'm currently in a Psi-Freak playthrough ... still rather early in the game, but I can already see were this is going and I think that the attribute scaling that Psi-Freak has but Dead-Eye is missing will make the difference. I will see how it will perform in comparision when I have almost 600 intelligence at level 50. Even if its close I think, when the game gets patched and powers can finally crit then Psi-Freak is probably the clear winner.
@@crazy-tommy The powers unable to crit is such a turn off for me, but having that much int + being able to crit sounds fun so I might try building one. I’ve been trying to find psi freak videos that’ll convince me to build one but they’re all so underwhelming. Let me know how it goes once you reached late game
@@FireTruck8000 They fixed that powers can crit and also nerfed Dead-Eye big time wit patch 1.4. Ranged crafting components now have -5% damage and Sharpshooter has -75% damage. I think now its pretty clear that Psi-Freak is on top. Just pump INT only, get crit chance from equipment and the Braindrain perk is taking care of your survivability.
ranged is really good in early and midgame, but you max out your crafting potential and crit chance at around level 30 from there on your combat performance goes down as you have nothing left to scale your damage. its still good and viable, but you feel that you become weaker when you still use the same weapons and mods against level 54 enemies. psi-freak and melee are late bloomers. as you can continue to pump intelligence or strength, they can potentially outperform ranged dead-eye in lategame.
movement speed works tho. at about 170 agility you run as fast or faster then your mounts. is it needed in combat tho ? that depends on your playstyle :D
@@toranders32 I started with 100 Int and I have little need to run. With a few dodges most enemies melt while they fill my health gauge. Tried a gun build and Psi is way better and not as gear dependent
@@toranders32 think I'm at 40 but may go 50 if something Stat specific drops. See no need to go higher. Same with Vitaliy. ATM my first play through is normal and would probably go to 60-80 on hard. With heath drain, I rarely drop to half health Unless I did something stupid. That may change at higher levels but at lvl 21 I could take on 3 non world bosses with little fear. Would like to see some decent Psi gear drops. My luck is 20 so perhaps I should bring it up.
I can't play as female character in the game. I think it's stupid they didn't add female character creation in the game. There female in the game and outfits as well so why is there no female character creation.
You play as a literal animal, who cares really? With rpg's i always select woman. Not for progressiveness, but because if ima stare at a charecters ass for 100 hours, id prefer to stare at a womans ass. These arent women, they are animals.

I'm a Commando with Psi abilities basically a battle mage because I use melee and Psi Powers

Deadeye and Mercenary are so much fun... I tend to stick to gun play and weapons and barely use the "powers" so they both fit my style very well

Dual wield guns + combos with melee and get a lot of super Wung Fu out of it

I planned sentinel and found myself using guns waaay more that melee. I just used melee as a filler until reload was done.

The dev favors range over melee, it outperforms by a vast margin, and sentinel is the worst class.
@@norzza I have a lv20 deadeye and a lv15 sentinel. Don't bother playing melee class brother, it's just not nearly as fun.
