Another tip for exploration: When you look at the world map you can sometimes spot little holes or squares with a bit of light emanating from them. These are little inside areas with some loot inside!
I don't have ADHD, thats just how I am in free roam games in general. As soon as they give me the option in the story to go off and "do whatever you want, go wherever you want" , ill spend +100 hours before even finishing the story.

Quick tip, if you’re trying to level up your psi abilities/aura values, I definitely recommend goin through the “Captives” side quest line. You’ll get a bunch of aura points and psi points when you free the prisoners.
The problem here is that usually by the time u get those quests ur resistances are already pretty decent thru your regular gear, and dumping bio points into ur resist pool further accelerates the process, all that gear just ends up collecting dust in your inventory... that said, admitedly they are great early game if u haven't been paying attention to ur resists.
Here's the biggest tip. SAVE YOUR GAME BEFORE ENTERING A VAULT. make sure you manually save your game before going into a vault. After leaving the vault with your game the game can sometimes crash. If the game crashes you will boot up inside the vault with the vault door locked, you can't fast travel inside the and your progression basically stops there as you are now trapped. There's no camera trick to open the door either. You have to start the game all over again.
This game was such a diamond in the ruff for me. I grabbed it for $20 in the ps5 store and honestly almost put it down when I first started playing. The combat was weird and I didn't know how I felt about the narrator. But the longer I played it, the more I loved it. Finding loot, leveling up, and crafting was amazing. And the combat became amazing the longer you went. The combos you can use with your abilities and guns is recently fun and satisfying. Still don't care for the narrator lol. But def love this game and highly recommend it.
I have found that by around lvl 40 ish if u have explored and picked up most of the random creatures to kill or pet that u can have 30 light and 30 dark, also if u go into new game + u will be able to buy pretty much everything with psy and bio points to spare since u had purchased most of the stuff in your 1st go around.
Game came out yesterday. Before I knew it I had played from 6pm to 2am, WTF. I never got to play BOTW, so I have been enjoying this. I do see them patching some of the quirks of the game, so those that are going overboard in their hate of the game need to chill. I play on PC with keyboard and mouse, so I'm looking forward to them better optimizing the game and adding a quick save key lol.

Contrary to your dismantle tip, I think saving those pieces early game and selling them will help u find better gear more quickly, get yourself at least 20-30k b4 u start mass dismantling especially if u have a decent to good barter (cha)
You can’t fast travel while underground. The tip about going into a building when in a hazardous zone is a great tip! I didn’t know this and will use it for sure.
How’s is sentinel just a tank class? Invulnerability stacks the damage modifier, you get to reflect range attacks and you get knock which is unique and cool?
Don't spend your bio points into resistances. There are easy to find hazard suits for each hazard type that give 100% resistance. Save those points for mutations.
Counterpoint: It's good to spend biopoints into resistances to be able to wear actual good armor in those hazardous areas, instead of the bare minimum protective suit with no good armor to speak of.
Awesome info - just wanted to mention, you dont actually have to interact with the signposts in an area, but you do have to get pretty close. I started a second playthrough and tested this. I've never actually peed on any of them (clicked on) but i can travel to all the ones i've been near. Not sure exactly how close you have to get, but i run up close enough to click, just saves a second or two not having to open the map and close it. Definitely agree about luck, i've been putting almost all my points there, except when i get an upgrade that requires a bit more vit or str to use. Also : when i restarted, i did my points all to multiples of 10, just for ease of use - though that wont matter if you're gonna gamble your points for leads. I had gone 28 to all stats my first playthrough but felt like multiples of 10 worked better, so i went like 50 20 20 20 30 or something
Theres a 2 hander unique weapon perk that helps with impactful melee. (Knocks small guys down) Also best world traversal is mushroom>levitate right as you hit the mushroom. Can jump buildings and bridges. Last note is i personally found it more useful to sell my extra loot early rather than breaking it down and then just bought better gear until i was near 30 on hard.
Unless you just don't like these types of games i don't see how you could not fw it. Tons of unique customization and loot, for a hack N slash there's a ton of variety, a bunch of quests, a bunch of exploration, beautiful map. Most of the most annoying things for me is the narrator which you can edit and the start of the game is pretty slow. Once you get the ball rolling it's a great game! If youve watched any gameplay and found it interesting i promise you it's a great playthrough🙏🏽
It’s nothing like the Witcher 3 in any which way. While I do enjoy it, comparing it to a deep rpg with incredible story telling and choices with emotional impact is simply silly and untrue.

Sentinel is for melee. I’d even say crush weapons are better than dual wield. Saboteur is weapon neutral and with the mobility focus it really benefits from using both in tandem, even leaning more towards guns than melee tbh.

I'm loving the game but wish the different class were more diverse. having two melee and two range classes that are very simular makes no sense, but enjoying the OP deadeye.
I uninstalled it after discovering the Mercenary DLC glitch on PS4. And, no definitive time frame on when the fix will happen. My guess, it'll take a week or more. Speculating, maybe a month. They already got their big sales revenue. So, I sincerely see them taking their time about fixing it.

I'm sorry. "They" as in the players figured out an unofficial "fix" for PS5. THQ/101 didn't come up with it. I know, nit-picking is a failing of mine. But, to reiterate, a fix on PS5 doesn't help PS4 players. And, the Devs didn't figure out the fix for PS5. The players did the Devs work for them.
@@inkpoison8395 bro, I had this as well when I booted up the game but you have to go to add-ons. It didn't download the class for me for some reason. When you select biomutant in the main menu, click down on dpad to see "more about biomutant" and go to add-ons or something it'll be a 1MB download
So I play on PS4 and I'm wondering if anybody else has experienced their Forward and backward movement just stop working Like It's just not reading the Joystick moving Forward or backward I've tested to see if it's the controller and it works just fine so I assume it's just a bug in the game
Loveddd this game but accidentally found an over powered gun that sadly killed every main bosses in minutes :( didnt had the need to go tru armor n stuff since i was OP since early game 💔 dnt make my mistake and enjoy the game it was meant to be

The game doesnt deserve all the bad reviews. Its not perfect, its not great. But its not bad either. Its quite enjoyable despite a few shortcomings
The reason it gets the hate is the price tag, which admitedly is quite heft for what the game offers in comparison to some games at the same price.
I’ve spent 10 hours and I love the game , it has a few bugs and the narrator is a bit annoying but u can turn it off so much loot to craft

I think I explored the whole map without even defeating the first rival tribe😂just kept on doing side quests whole time

Exactly what I did and now one armor has 3 different 100% resistance and it's not one of my faves 😅

This game is literally Ratchet & Clank + The Witcher 3. If that ain't your vibe then you probably not gonna have a good time
