I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. really happy that you're digging Hikaru's charisma in performing, I had the same reactions of her when I watched gp999. just exploding with dynamics and confidence!
That's why Hikaru was my ultimate bias since day 1 of gp999 up until now. She never disappoint me with her performances. The confidence, body lines, facial expressions and the way she works on her body. She can steal you even if she's not in the middle. Just the eye contact that she does, men she's perfect.

Happy that someone finally noticed Hikarus body line, she’s such a perfectionist who never loses one detail when she’s dancing, she’s called girl on beat bcs she’s always on beat and playing with it, she has main dancer and real dancer steps, and her sassy facial expressions too after all she’s the STAGE GENIUS EZAKI HIKARU. hope you can watch her fancams, she’s crazy.
I absolutely adore this song. The vocal harmonies and the choreo literally have my heart. I'm so glad to see that you praised Chaehyun. I hardly ever hear praise about her dancing unfortunately. and Bahi I do believe this wasn't her best performance her debut stage was her absolute best oh my she did so well . and I strongly believe they all have so much room to improve. They've been getting better and it's only been a few weeks since they debuted. Hikaru does have such amazing charisma and stage presence and she is only 17. In a few years she will be one unstoppable force. I mean all of them will be. They are all such amazing performers and I think MVSK is the perfect song to display that. Both vocally and choreo wise. It's sad that we only have them for 2.5 years but I am so excited to see them grow.

I would love to be optimistic but just like what happened with IZ*ONE it'll be hard, because there are so many companies involved. once the contract expires they might want to debut the girls. And the profit from the group is shared amongst everyone involved which for the individual companies, in the long run, will not be beneficial. Time is precious in the kpop industry too, the girls would be getting older. So it'll be extremely difficult to get everyone on board.

hikaru’s role model is CL which might explain on top of her already great and amazing facial expressions & stage presence which is also what cl is known for, she recently mentioned her hobby is watching CL’s videos! I love Hikaru as well, always attracted by her especially at her part. She is killing it!! I think the debut version of MVSK is good too, since some of their patterns and post are so memorable and catchy. I repeat the debut video again and again

Hiyyih: not my favorite performance of hers she sings more in this song than wa da da (2 lines instead of one crying) but during the live performances of MVSK she gets a lot of the camera time during her adlibs but they cut most of them for this. I think for their debut showcase on M2 she showed amazing charisma and sass for her highlight parts aka the adlibs
Hikaru: who is your fav is such a little firecracker. All the members say she is the cutest thing in real-life but when she hits the stage her charisma and bad bitch energy genuinely overflow. She is a very powerful dancer and rapper
Youngeun: she was the one going off with the high notes!!
All three of these girls are the same age! They are a part of the 04 liners.
Hikaru has about 3/4 years of experience as a performer, Youngeun was a backup dancer for a kpop group and also danced with her sister a lot who is also a professional dancer, and Hiyyih is pretty much self-trained she has maybe a little over a year with all her training experience with different companies/ academies so she can honestly only go up from here!
Dayeon: the blonde you pointed out who was next to Hikaru is a phenomenal dancer. She even trained with Koreas Street Women Fighter Dance crew LaChica. She can also rap and sing very well. (She was the same girl you noticed in WDD)
Also amazed about Chaehyun's (pink hair) compliment on her dancing as she is always ranked 9th or 8th in that category so it was interesting to hear your take on her!

Think it’s hilarious that you are calling out the “planet” centers. Hikaru was #1 Japanese and blonde Dayeon was #1 Korean at the start of the show. What’s also interesting is that pink hair Chaehyun was the #23 Korean. Would of liked to see the preliminary evaluations

Mvsk is the queen of b-side tracks
Talking specifically about Chaehyun (who’s my bias) she has a very unique voice, it’s very strong and clear here but also she sounds like an angel in ballad songs (I’d suggest you to watch ‘My Sea’ performance of Girls Planet 999, she’s the one with bangs and black hair, with a ribbon, her outfit is white and light blue). She’s usually ranked as the weakest dancer in Kep1er, but it’s because there are so many amazing dancers in this group and she’s more vocally focused, however, she’s actually really good at dancing, she’s also considered to be lead dancer material. Plus, her skills will improve with time, I’m sure about that, she’s full of passion, like I always say there’s always room for improvement and all these girls are full of potential and talent, I’m looking forward to discover who they will become in the future
we have the same bias!!! 😍 chae is actually THE strongest vocalist in kep1er tho, she just lacks stamina but her techniques are far better than the rest, other members are still good tho.

Actually Bahiyyih's so sassy in the music show version of MVSK..actually everybody's got more in that version, in this one a lot of them are(and still slaying tho) kinda laid back. The music show version is Fire 🔥

Yes, Hikaru (sassy shorter girl) and Dayeon (blonde shorter girl) from "Wa Da Da" are still attacking you in "MVSK" (pronounced "Mask"); pink-hair is Chaehyun (she was voted #1 in GP999). This performance of "MVSK" is not one of Bahiyyih's stronger stage performances - Kep1er's debut stage of this song was much better but if you reacted to that one (MNET), it would definitely get blocked. Please keep in mind, Bahiyyih has the least amount of training (she is self-trained) of all the members, so she is learning as she goes along. That said, I feel she has wonderful shoulders and stable vocals, and she adapts to any concept pretty quickly. Plus she's relatively "tall", her visuals are a huge plus to the group. In their group activities, she comes across as a caring and endearing young woman - I look forward to hers and the group's growth. FYI, Yujin and Dayeon are in COVID protocol right now; Chaehyun and Youngeun are recovering. Here's hoping none of the other members (or their team) come down with it.
Being self training isn't excuse here because you already in kep1er not in gp999 anymore, I'm sorry but people expect higher than this because how fierce competition in the show, seriously she need to practice harder than other member and show her capabilities
@@AudioAdios but it is an excuse since she was never under a company to get proper training. Yeah she had gp999 but she slowly improved on the show and is still continuing to improve now. Her biggest problem is lack of confidence and that mainly ties into the hate that she's been getting since like day one
@@nicolerouse1175 i agree with you but isn't it more of a reasoning than an excuse to why she doesn't perform as powerful as the other members? The reason she doesn't really perform in the "Same level" as the others is because she only attended a dance academy and the rest are self training while the others have been trained in companies and then there's like the EXPERIENCED IDOL and the ones who were trained in the Big 3s, let's just keep on rooting for hiyyih :D

Glad you reacted to this one, this is my fav song. You liked Hikaru and Dayeon (other blond girl, she was also a Produce 48 contestant) in WA DA DA as well.
Dayeon is kind of an all rounder, she raps, sings and is considered one of the best dancers in the group, very stable live singer. In Girls Planet 999 (survival show Kep1er was formed) she was also shown to have leadership and very good choreography skills. Kep1ers official leader is Yujin (CLC) and co-leader is Mashiro (used to train with JYP ITZY ).
The girl with pink hair is Chaehyun former SM trainee, she is considered one of the best vocalists if not main vocal of the group (although they don't have official positions yet except leader and co-leader).
The girl you said pretty is Xiaoting, Chinese member used to be nr 6 in the world globally in ballroom dancing.
The girl with the high note is Young-eun, considered an expert at boy group dances (she blew everyone away with her cover of NCT kick-it in the survival show). She is also considered an ace.
The maknae (Kang Ye-seo) has the most experience, she debut at 5 yo as a child actress (miracle in cell no 7), debut in a kid group cutie-L and debut in busters).
Kep1er won 3 music shows promoting their debut. I'm not even sure you can call them rookies.

The one singing the high note by 3:24 and 15:10 is Youngeun. In the MVSK Debut version @2:43, she gets a bit of screen time.
Some dynamics are not seen in this video but you already loved it. If they do post a dance practice, you'll be surprised with it. This is Kep1er's duality!

These songs and choreos is what i LIVE FORRRRR, the whole choreo (+ yujin flying) was so good, you don't see this everyday in K-POP and the song is AMAZING, on my LOOP playlist immediately, the ad libs and background vocals are just *chefs kiss*

Like, their vocals are good, it's not too thin when the notes are high. It has richness to it. Good rappers, like very good flow and charismatic as well, and the dancing is really good too! Very good start as a rookie group 😊.
