i agree. alot of the camerawork was better in the debut stage nothing against this first impact performance but if one were to really fully experience the dance choreography, i think the debut stage showcases that the best so far just alot of the camerawork showcases the formations better or focuses on specific dance steps or members better

You’ll become a Kep1ian in no time, Thina! This is one of the strongest dance lines in 4th gen gg (basically 6 main and 3 lead dancers) and I love how everything looks cohesive (no “weak” links). As others commented also, Shine debut stage is a recommendation, but they have also a dance practice for O.O.O (Kep1er version), which was the theme song for GP999. Sadly there are no performances for See the light (short intro song with very nice harmonies) and Another dream (another song from GP999, which they included in their debut).
there's alot of amazing dancer in this group not only an average idol dancer but truly amazing dancer. there's Xiaoting she was on ballroom dance field before Dayeon who choreographed all by herself for her team on gp999 mission (you should watch this she made it perfectly for every member on her team) Youngeun who's mastered at boy group dance and Hikaru! maknae but soo professional when it came to dance

Idk if it helps but I feel like with IZ*ONE a lot of the fans had hope for a contract extension since the group was so popular. So, when the extension talk fell through it hurt a lot. With Kep1er some companies like Hikaru's, Yeseo’s, and Mashiro's have already made plans for those members after Kep1er disbands. So extension is already off the table

And Yujin leaning out like that at 15:03 ...I don't even know how often I rewound that part the first time I watched this; not even because she's one of my favs but that just looks so cool

What is definitely agreed about this track and performance is the lvl of musicality. It’s the details that makes this song attractive and it’s cool without playing into any gimmicks. Level changes, domino effects, clean details in hitting under the music beats and then switching to the main flow. The choreography matches the intention of the music. I'm really glad reactors are getting a chance to finally see "MVSK" - Kep1ians have been pushing this song since their debut stage but since that was on MNET, reactors understandably stayed away for fear of being blocked. Kep1er performed both "Wa Da Da" and "MVSK" the first week of promotions, and then 'Wa Da Da' the final two weeks - they won several music show trophies, so it was a successful rookie debut, no doubt. I believe because Kep1er had to pull back on their promotion activities due to COVID (Chaehyun/Youngeun are in recovery; Yujin/Dayeon are in COVID protocol), their agency needed to keep up their momentum and released this First Impact performance stage, but I'm not complaining. They are on SNS like all the other KPOP groups, but this is a good way to see/hear their music until they get back to active promotions.
Firstly loved the reaction as always, always enjoy watching you while you somewhat breakdown the dance and gives your opinion to it :) The one with the hand moving and is was alluring is Seo Youngeun who is korean. She was also the one who did the highnote around the end. She is from my perspective the most rounded member of the group. She has really good dancing abilities and rapping abilities since she applied to gp999 as a dancer and showed mostly rapping in her first performance. Then later on it was found out that she had really great vocals and could hit highnotes quite easily. She is not the best vocalist, rapper or dancer but she is still really good at all 3. One of the unique things with her when it comes to the korean members is that she is one of the few (with bahhiyeh to in this situation) who was much more of a global choice than a korean choice. In the show korean votes counted double global votes. And with some members you could see that the double counted helped them alot in getting into the group and their standings (not meant as any hate to these members obv) but youngeun and bahhiyeh both got rather a lower score because of it. Youngeun would if the votes were put even be number 3 in the show, but ended number 5, not sure with bahi because not read up much on that. Just a small thing. Youngeun is probably the groups biggest crackhead, most energetic and loudest. The one you said is sassy are Hikaru which is a japanese member. She is by far the best rapper in Kep1er and one of the best dancers in the group (Dance ranking quite difficult for the group due to alot of talented dancers). She has in this debut been done dirty from my point of view. She got so few lines when she should for sure be the main rapper in the group, we have seen her own made rap which was really good (Her audition rap) and have shown us some great covers like when she covered misfits. She is so talented.
Fun fact, the one who choreographed MVSK are the dance masters (the mentors) who evaluated their dance throughout the survival show. I knew we could trust them 😭
