The tiny but awesome member is Hikaru, who is made out of highly condensed talent: she's only 5 feet and half an inch tall. 😂 She started out Girls Planet as the #1 ranked Japanese contestant for a good reason, though. Besides being a great technical dancer, her facial expressions are the best and she's a really good rapper, to boot.

The first girl by the telescope is Chaehyun, she trained with Aespa but didn't debut with that group; the tall, very attractive girl is Xiao Ting, the only Chinese member - she is a former ballroom dancer, you'll notice her form right away; you noticed Yujin (formerly with CLC); the member in the red/black plaid skirt is Mashiro, formerly with JYP, she trained with ITZY but did not debut with that group; the blonde in the pink outfit is Huening Bahiyyih and is the younger sister of Huening Kai of Tomorrow X Together (they did a TikTok of this song). Hikaru is the sassy Japanese member who did the ASMR part of the song that drew your attention in the second verse (you and almost every other reactor to this song). Dayeon did the rapping in the beginning. Yaseo is the maknae. Youngeun is a strong vocalist - if you react to 'MVSK', she sings the high notes. Yujin and Mashiro are co-leaders of the group. I believe the group have won three music show awards for this song (MCountdown, Inkigayo, Music Bank) - that's amazing for a rookie group!

It’s not bad that you noticed those details, it’s ok, we shouldn’t forget they are humans too and can’t be perfect, even tough they are all amazing dancers, in the future we’ll came back to this and see how much they’ve improved :D
Also the girls didn’t have much time to prepare :( it was everything kinda rushed, if I’m not mistaken they had like a month to prepare everything bc they were supposed to debut in December. Unfortunately two members got covid and all of them had to do self quarantine, by that time the song and mv were already recorded. But I believe there’s always room for improvement and I believe in this girls, if within a month they did THAT good, they’ll be just out of this world with more time to prepare for their next song. fun fact the tallest girl in full white, xiaoting, is the only chinese member, had extensive training in ballroom and got to attend prestigious ballroom contests! i think analyzing her technique and how it plays onto idol dancing would be very interesting for you. she's also my bias :D she's the second center in kep1er plus the center of girls planet's chinese group.
From what I know (take it with a grain of salt) her torso is stiff because in ballroom you have to keep your back straight or smth
the shorty is hikaru, she also caught my attention the first time i checked kep1er out 😭 i think you will really like their mvsk performance, hikaru also slayed. there’s still no dance practice and idk of they will ever drop it but there is a still mcountdown fancam!
Hikaru is just that Good
They don’t have official positions yet, but a lot of people including me agree that the main dancers will most likely be xiao ting (girl in full white), hikaru (girl with short black hair, the short cute one) or Dayeon (the blond girl that starts of the song) they stand the most out when it comes to the dancing within the group.
@oncemania In this era, I do think that Dayeon stands out the most when it comes to the dancing. But I find Hikaru’s way of moving at certain parts also very satisfying.
I would also say Youngeun and Yeseo as a lead dancer. I’d say Dayeon, Hikaru and Youngeun as mains. Youngeun and Xiaoting as leads. Yeseo a close lead for me but still not sure yet.
This group is lucky in that they have two aces - Yujin and Dayeon - that can fulfill different purposes, depending on the concept. No doubt Xiao Ting is an incredible dancer, she and Yujin likely have the most formal training, but in different genres. Hikaru stood out from Day 1 in GP999, no matter her stature - that's pure talent and charisma. Youngeun and Chaehyun are likely the "main" vocalists but Yujin/Dayeon/Mashiro/Yeseo also contribute. I'm not sure if the producers know what to do with Bahiyyih just yet.

This song has grown on me SIGNIFICANTLY. Their Studio choom performance did this song far more justice than the video. You can see the choreo for what it is there!

Dayeon learned dancing fron Rian of La Chica. Who knows if she hasnt persued an idol career, she might have attended SWF.

I think Jeff constantly saying its me makes me sad. If its messy, its messy. Its just constructive criticism . It does not mean he is saying they are bad dancers or that they are not hardworking. I think people should not bash him for his criticism.

The tiny member that you mentioned is Hikaru. During Girls Planet 999, she ranked #1 and became the center of J-group. She was also chosen as P01 by the masters among 99 participants (ep1). She's known as a dancer who pays so much attention to details. She and Dayeon are great at making choreography!
i'm not a dancer but i can see that their choreo is a little bit messy. but it's okay tho cause they're only have short time to practice. but i recommend you to watch their other performance, MVSK. i think you gonna love it 😃

I'm not a dancer, but I participated in several dance competitions to represent my school. And yeppp, I caught the same details as you. You explained it well and carefully. IMO, we've worked in dance teams, interacted with fellow members, and were instructed by our dance coach. It's automatics that we catch some of the delay and difference in movement. I love your channel, fighting! 💫

Just so you know a bit more about kep1er's history (the girls you noticed mostly)
- xiaoting, dayeon and hikaru were originally number 1's from the start of the program. And for a reason! they're all amazing performers
- yujin is also a member of CLC, got to be k1 repeatedly
- xiaoting was first place among everyone until the final, debuting in ranking 9
the girl with pink hair (chaehyun) debuted as p1, she's the main character

i think positions haven’t been confirmed yet but Hikaru (the tiny one) and Dayeon (blonde one in the center at the beginning) always dance together when they need to show the choreography! i wouldn’t be surprised if they both have the main dancer position

Yujin is the lead dancer of CLC and she's really greeeat and it says a lot about their main dancer Seungyeon who is also really great I'd dare say she's at Chungha's level and they went to the same dance school! But going baaack to Yujin, she loves waacking and popping!

The reason why Bahiyyih does that little solo thing with her lines is because she has so few, that she has to make her part of the choreo different or else she won't stand out.

13:06 16:19 omg i'm glad it's not just me. there's so many parts in this choreo when someone does a random move every time there's a HEY or YEAH from the depths of the backing track. it really upsets the flow of the choreography
my poor girl hiyyih got only 1 line so i bet the choreographer(s) thought “let’s give her some adlibs/small solo parts to make up for her lines/screen time”
and for this i think (correct me if i’m wrong) ppl thought she ACTUALLY messed up and got hate for it… all could’ve been solved if they gave all the members their equal lines and screen time, but i also know that’s hard considering kep1er is made up of 9 members. i’m just hoping for the best in their future comeback and i’ll keep cheering on for them

It's not just her though; Hikaru, mashiro, dahyun etc etc all have random moments where their hands shoot up outta no where and I'm like woah what just happened over there in the corner of my eye.

I just discovered your channel a week ago, i've have been binging all your reaction XD i love the analysis, advice and the little things you point out in the choreos that I totally missed before you mentioned them! It would be so cool if you checked out PIXY, they're a girl group that debuted in 2021 with a kind of 'dark fairy' theme. Their choreo and songs are INSANE. they have dance practice videos for most of their songs, but I'd recommend 'Wings' - it was their debut title track, and is in a video with a performance of the intro to the mini album (the imagery is beautiful) - 'Addicted', 'Bewitched', and 'Let me know'. I'd love to see your opinion on their dancing if you see this comment!
I actually do not like the small solos in the post chorus, it looks messy to me. I feel like the choreographers could have added more attention to Huening Bahiyyih’s killing parts. However, I do understand in a camera POV it’s just easier to just zoom to her. She slayed but choreography could have been better for sure.
