Fascinating discussion of Carter and rainbow folks -- he at least evolved, and things in the 1980s would have been so much better for us if Carter had beat Reagan and been reelected........sort of puts me in mind of the present moment, with the transition from the evolved Biden to the anti-LGBTQ-equality Trump this month.
