Many thanks Brian for making and sharing this video, it’s a truly remarkable engine build and I’ve been enjoying all of the details along the way, great achievement Brian, well done 😊👍
They are "Muzzy block off plates".., long discontinued and extremely difficult to get any more... These ones I bought 2nd hand from a member on the ZRXOA forum a number of years ago and I had them in storage since then... BG.
It's all precision machined so that every component is a tight "push fit" to be retained by each of their twin '0' rings.. Everything is machined and designed to fit pretty snug and secure... Watch from around 15:27 for a visual on this 👍 BG.
Thanks for the quick reply. Since nearly everything I own ends up developing some significant blow-by and crankcase pressure, I'd probably have to either thread it so it screws together or maybe some set screws. I really like all those Ti screws you use also. Is there any appreciable weight savings with them? Are you getting them in bulk or singular as needed? Thanks again. Waiiting eagerly for new episodes.
No I've never had such Crankcase pressure issues to I'm pretty confident with this component and my method of manufacture ..👍 Regarding the Ti bolts etc..? Well I tend to both make my own and buy individual selected ones as I go. My 05 ZRX has a significant amount of Ti versus this 01 build.. However stay tuned for another custom machined Ti upgrade for this 01 BG
Love the period Muzzy block off plates. What an outstanding build!

Where did you get the secondary air valve closer plates?
Looks great. What engine stand is that? Or where can I fined it.
Brian, excellent work. But what holds the breather together?
