You are getting alot of bang for your buck here. The DR8 IS A VERY VERY CAPABLE DESERT RACER and will easily keep up with other larger 1/8 and 1/7 6s cousins NO PROBLEMS.

Great editing work. I was dead set on the ZD Racing DBX10 until TomleyRC's DR8 review. It's been almost a year with the DR8, no regrets. It's the best built, most reliable, value-for-money desert racer on the market.

FTX Texan light kit. Some bulbs an a Y connector. Drill two 2.5mm holes through the front most straight section of the tube frame. BOOM! extra lights for less than a benner that fills in the gap in the front bumber an looks SWEET!
LOVE my DR8, my first 'fast' RC truck an I'd highly reccomend it. just as good as arrma, traxxis etc etc but a quarter the price!!!!
Just get one.
I would reccomend ALL the under side protection you can find as they do sit low an bottom out a LOT.

Cracking video lads, well edited & some great jumps too ! personally i really rate the FTX DR8, Excellent value for the money, Performs extremely well & above expectations, Great features & handles everything you throw at it.
Not many RC Bashers out there to match this for the end price too !

The DR8 is probably the best value /performing 6s truck around. Check out Basherqueen vid on her Reely Raptor fitter with a wide arm kit & Talion wheels. The wide kit parts are available from Conrad Electronics in Austria for around £80 I paid for mine, this makes the DR8 about 80mm wider o/a.

its a great rig for the money, had mine 2yrs and only broken a steering knuckle by slamming it into a concrete kerb stone at 40ish! great vid keep up the sweet work.
