    This stuff was absolute junk from the get-go. One time they told me they sent me 1/2 of one model & 1/2 of another . I made it work .They said "you are one heck of a mechanic". I asked "what do i tell our customer ? " The answer ? : "tell 'em they have one of a kind." Seriously ! NO LOSS here.

    I totally agree with you, I too am a small shop. Although it's too late to change this behavior, the fact is that the bike manufacturers became very greedy and unfortunately that greed has caused this. My shop is slow like yours, but will say this is the same thing that I saw after 911. We also had a tremendous amount of rain last season, and lots of flooding over the winter months. So far this spring, we've seeing lots of rain again, so hoping that the weather rights itself here soon. At any rate, I wish you well and hope that business picks up for you!

    I knew about this but Cycleworld in Sydney felt it earlier during COVID 19 and let Richard go as well as one other employee . I survived on repairs and special projects . Ebike pedalec motor failures kept me busy too if we had floods .

    I wasn't even alive when Schwinn went out of business and I still feel that. It's horrible that these quality American-made companies keep biting the dust.

    Just a quick look at the product page and pricing. Conclusion is : the company killed themselves. Just like some great nations when they were too great and had no enemies can prevail against them. They destroyed themselves in due course. No outer force needed.

      Could be. You could be right. But I don't think that is what happened. I think it was just wrong place wrong time. Thanks for commenting. Again you could be right we may never know.👍

    Interesting video. I gotta ask. Do you think the e-bike surge is a reason for these traditional bike companies issues? I can’t say I’ve seen many peddle bikes around. Everyone seems to want an electric bike or scooter.

      No. The Ebike companies are also struggling. One Ebike company I deal with is laying off over half their staff.

      No. The Ebike companies are struggling as well. One Ebike company we work with just let go half their staff.

    My side hustle is building and selling motorized bicycles. Great transportation for people who lost their licenses. All as is where is sales with a long list of dos and don’ts for safety and maintenance.

    Do you ship bikes?

      @alloutbikes  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not anymore. He had too many problems with shipping. Too many bikes were damaged in shipping or people would change their minds and the bikes got damaged coming back. Even with insurance we lost so much money. Sorry☹️
