The Giant Talon is an excellent bike. I don't sell them but I do work on them. I have had tons of experience with them and the only issues I have seen is when the bike is not assembled properly. I wish you Goodluck. If you keep having problems take it to a good trusted bike shop. Most bike shops are good it's to bad that a few shops give others a bad reputation.👍
When bike shops get big or is owned by a big company it normally does have a high turnover rate. Working at bike shops are supposed to be fun. When they get big it becomes stressful.
I have been converting JIS setups to Hollowtech outboard ones wherever possible .

It's an old fashioned torque wrench. The handle flexes and points to how much torque you have.👍

Kin - Lin bottom bracket ? Giant should use a proper Shimano one or Neco / Sunrace , at least .
It was a Shimano. It's the second time I've seen one like this.
